I've seen a few of them, though I can't for the life of me remember the titles. I think I caught that one mentioned in the headline featuring the smart Black lead, and maybe even that one where the group just messes around with the zombies, washing them and all that nonsense 😁
Regarding this Dawn of the Dead (from the thread), I suppose it’s by Romero too? Which one features that Black zombie acting as some kind of intelligent leader?
I am planning to order quite a few movies over the next week, so I would appreciate some advice on which zombie films are actually worth watching🙏.s 🙏 The one from this thread, its original... what else is there?
Roger Allen3 said:You’ve got a point there... I guess in some movies they just drop from a single punch to the head... while in others, they won't even succumb to a common cold... what really got to me was that guy in Night of the Living Dead, acting all intelligent for a zombie😠 and then, somehow, he misses his shot at the end of the movie. It makes no sense.😠
In certain films, they can actually catch you, and within thirty seconds, they're practically hovering over you to bite. They seem way more agile than your average Olympic sprinter here. 😁 They are either fast or slow; one simply has to decide which version we are dealing with. I suppose Resident Evil explains it quite clearly—they are driven by nothing but basic instincts, so once they spot food, they just lose it. 🙏 😁
To’s true, I haven't quite wrapped my head around the whole zombie logic either. In some movies, they’re just sluggish—the kind you could outrun three times over or toy with easily. If I were facing those slow types, I guess I’d just grab a baseball bat and get to work. 😁 But in this one, they move with the speed of Ben Johnson on a heavy steroid cycle. It's a shame they don't bother explaining the origin or the mechanics of the virus, but I suppose the ending is still the best I've seen in this genre. 🙏
I found the movie to be quite good. It’s a perfect way to kill three hours, I suppose. 🙏 As for Will Smith, he’s a great actor who handled the role well; though, I guess their occasional overacting can be a bit grating, but overall... it's top-notch. 😁

Not that the veterans would actually bother teasing them. 😉
That’s great news. 😁 I suppose it hardly matters who he coached before; things couldn't possibly get any worse than this current mess. Even van Basten wasn't exactly a household name as a manager, yet here he is coaching the Netherlands.
I'm honestly not sure who I should even root for tomorrow. 🙄 I have a real distaste for the Spanish, though I suppose my feelings toward the French aren't quite as intense, despite them knocking us out earlier today. 😁 Still, they don't stand a chance against the Spanish.
Good grief, our little dark horse just hammered in 100 goals; he basically gave a masterclass on how the game should be played. 🤮 Seren is looking at those American national teams that have more than two Black players on the roster. 😁
It might have been better if we'd just lost. Those French guys didn't even have a real game plan, yet they still managed to beat us. I suspect the Spaniards would have absolutely crushed us.
To hell with those fans who light flares only to toss them onto the pitch.😬
Guys, my only real concern is that you all might actually perform even worse than this. Linus, you gave it your all, cheers. Vory, you're sitting at 225 pounds and still can't carve out a role as a cornerstone; I guess the conclusion is pretty much that you're washed up. Let's just head home now; nobody, neither you nor us, cares about a bronze medal.
I still think about that generation that brought home the gold. Honestly, those guys were something else—I’d even go so far as to say they were better than anyone we have playing today.
