The entire second and third tiers are rigged, so don't think the top flight is any different. I’ve personally seen how shady things get in the third tier—matches are bought, and referees are paid off just to stay quiet. It gets so bad that a ref might actually walk up to a team captain at halftime and basically ask, "What am I even supposed to call for you guys?"😁 We can barely afford to pay our local officials, let alone bring in anyone from abroad. I guess that's just the reality we're stuck with... it's pretty bleak.
Without overthinking it, Aliens is the peak of sci-fi.... The marines, possessing an IQ somewhere near the freezing point of water, fit perfectly with their "shoot anything that moves" tactical approach. Part four was just a cash grab... honestly, part two is the only sequel that actually surpasses the original (though I suppose the Godfather holds its own, but let’s not get pedantic 🙂 )
Rumors have been swirling for quite some time now about a potential alien vs predator production The plot isn't even worth much attention: the Predator is heading to the extraterrestrial's home planet to hunt, but the marines show up looking for the extraterrestrials too, resulting in total chaos... if this movie actually happens, it will either be a complete disaster or a genuine masterpiece... I might suggest James Cameron for the director's chair; he’s already proven himself in that arena... 👍
hm... definitely Terminator 3....👎 I guess I found myself getting a bit lost in The Matrix Reloaded, struggling to follow the logic, but with The Terminator... it was just a disaster. I honestly couldn't tell who was even involved in the plot anymore, and worst of all, I feel like I $6.75 wasted my time—which is rare, because usually there's at least something watchable in these things...
