Quick question regarding this new firewall setup. They really should have kept it simple like it was back in Windows XP—just hit properties and add them to a blacklist. How am I supposed to block specific programs from making a connection here?

Do I go through Advanced settings and look at inbound or outbound rules? My English tells me it should be outbound, but I see some stuff in the inbound list that I don't want trying to connect—specifically a game, whereas the inbound list seems to just be standard Windows programs. So, maybe that's actually what I need, or maybe I'm totally off base 😬? Either way, is this where you do it, right-click and select block connection?

There is another issue; whenever I attempt to download something, it refuses to save to my preferred directory, claiming I lack administrator permission 🙄 I am using the Pro version. However, when I performed the installation, I didn't set a password because I wanted to avoid that hassle (and perhaps because I might forget it anyway). I wonder if there is a way to disable this requirement?

How does one get MSN to sit down by the clock, like it did in those older versions of Windows? I mean, when I hit the X to close it, it should just go down there, but if I minimize it, it stays on the taskbar?
Is it even possible to change the color when something happens within a specific window? Yellow is the default for me, which I suppose is far too faint; I think I'd much rather see red.

Picked it up 🙂 There wasn't much of a price difference, so I just paid $165 in cash. Installed it, and it seems to be working perfectly—those lines are finally gone, so it was definitely a GPU issue. I guess I'm satisfied 🙂

Alright, my current setup includes an Nvidia 7600 with 256MB of VRAM on an MSI K9N Ultra motherboard.

The CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600, 3 gigs. Just so you have a rough idea of the hardware I'm working with.

Clyde didn't kill the guy in prison until after the lawyer incident. Actually, they didn't even suspect he'd kill the attorney; they probably thought he'd just be found dead naturally. He used the lawyer situation as an excuse to get moved to solitary confinement (he wasn't planning to kill him then; if he had, he would have set the clock much earlier than 3 PM). There was no reason for him to be in isolation before that.😉
