Veteran's Funeral in Close to Politics ·
Robert Booth38 said:Just you wait until those two local bureaucrats decide to shut this whole thread down.

You really stepped in it this time, man.😂😂😂

Why??

Even this forum isn't insulated from those who hold nothing sacred—certainly not life, and even less so the death of a veteran.

Look, I’ve already made my stance clear regarding this whole situation. I renounce any honors, provided there is one condition: that Strange be buried as soon as possible. Whether he's alive or dead doesn't matter to me, as long as he gets full honors, including a 21-gun salute.

Personally, I think it would be better if they buried him alive. It would be such a shame for him to miss an event this significant for the American people; he could actually enjoy the festivities and the sound of those three shots. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to see the fireworks, though now that I think about it, we could just build him a plexiglass casket. That way he could see the display, and the crowd could enjoy watching him squirm.

Moderator:

I assumed this post would be deleted despite the fact that, under any democratic principle, I have every right to express my opinion about a public figure who has expressed his own views publicly—and since those views apply to me too, go ahead. If this post violates the rules of this subforum, feel free to give me a warning, a ban, or even a permanent ban for my part. I just can't stand censorship, and it seems to be happening more and more often lately.

Thanks for understanding.
Charles Jackson5 said:72 years old? Not bad—especially when you factor in the Federal Assembly and everything else that comes with it. Honestly, what more could anyone even wish for you, considering Antin's legacy of nation-building? 😍

Mindza, man... honestly, at this point, I can only reply to you by copy-pasting. 😁

Edit. Honestly, I’m all for just throwing the doors wide open at Crazy House—let's just have two basic rules: don't touch people's families and don't mock victims or crimes. After that? Whatever. Let the chips fall where they may.

To write even one remotely coherent post, you'd need a little more brainpower between your ears than what's currently being driven by the sheer amount of hormones flooding your entries.

Of course, that leaves you with nothing left to do but c/p, though the real issue is that you don't even understand what you're copying and pasting.
Charles Jackson5 said:So you just don't get what the poet was actually getting at? Honestly—do you even listen to the words? 🤣

Just picture for picture—or rather, comment upon comment. Honestly, if those psychology students over on Reddit can see anything at all, they’ll spot the projection immediately. 🙂

Long live America!

It’s hard to find a single Royalist who wasn't basically obsessing over the posts made by Phoenix from Split and their clones, so what @granitefox16 said is effectively a fact. They were most obsessed when you were busy trashing the people who actually defended America—not to mention your own posts that serve as nothing more than self-gratification for those same Royalists. 🙂
Gregory Howard said:Frankly, I find this verbal witch hunt against driftingdriver to be completely distasteful. Regardless of how much it's wrapped in clumsy humor, the insults and condescending remarks directed at him are unacceptable.

Who on earth cares about his personality? Or even attempts at amateur psychology to decode it?

I suppose I’ve received my fair share of undeserved—mostly undeserved—red cards from him, so what? I pointed it out, but everything happened within the context of a debate regarding moderation principles.

This kind of labeling is offensive. It’s something I won't tolerate, and it reminds me of Talmudic wisdom: "If you publicly shame or insult someone, it is as if you have spilled their blood." Based on that, and the fact that driftingdriver is generally a solid moderator, I maintain that he should continue doing his job.

Go ahead and write your little petition if you want, but there's no coming back for him now. And honestly, I think he realizes by now that there isn't a more thankless job than being the moderator for Politics.

They're trampling driftingdriver because he finally started moderating the right way—which is to say, he actually started penalizing the leftists. He basically drove the final nail into his own coffin when he shut down that thread about banning the cross; once he saw where that was headed, he had no choice but to step down. If he comes back, it just means he's become a lapdog for the administration. Any thought that the administration won't interfere in the running of PDF-politics is just pure, naive ignorance of how things actually work on this Reddit.
Charles Jackson5 said:The biggest issue with this entire site is the boss, Anderlon—who’s basically running the moderators under some kind of blackmail or direct physical threat. Anderlon, a liberal and leftist by trade, was forced to hand over the Politics subforum to neo-fascists just so they wouldn't set up a permanent headquarters elsewhere. In exchange, he got peace and quiet to do whatever he wants online. If you don't believe me, just take a closer look at the lineup of moderators we've had and the kind of rhetoric being spewed in that section. They celebrate extremists there, while those of us trying to push back get brutally silenced and shut down. Where did all the honorable users who actually defended our nation's integrity go? What happened to split555? Where are Greven and Phoenix? Where is Walter? They're gone because the bullies there humiliated and crushed them until even stepping foot on the site became nauseating. And as for those of you praising Simba, I'll give you just one name: Predrag Gojkovic—then you'll understand everything. Not to mention the absolute legend of this forum... Phoenix.

Mark Twain, driftingdriver, Simba, posmatrac, blaise and d@d@,
it's all just a big, pathetic joke, brother. 😁

And yeah, if this were an actual decent forum, they would never allow the glorification of neo-fascists and that devil MPT.

If this were a real forum, you would have been permanently banned a long time ago with that "tough guy" attitude of yours.

Furthermore, the users you listed essentially raped this forum into oblivion, and the byproduct of that assault seems to be these "fascists," because anyone who didn't agree with their specific viewpoint was automatically branded a fascist. There has never been such inflation of that label as when they were polluting this forum.

You can't exist without your fascists; it’s the cross you'll probably have to carry until the end of your insignificant lives.
granitepilot282 said:You know what? I actually feel bad for you. No joke. I don't think it would have taken much for you to become a decent moderator. For instance, Mark Twain and granitefox16 were just completely incompetent at the job. Not enough brainpower. You could have been a great mod; you just needed a little more time, a bit of luck... and maybe a tiny bit less stubbornness. Seriously, you really had potential. It's a shame. I can say that now that you aren't a mod anymore, so it doesn't look like I'm just saying it because you hold power.😬

granitefox16 is still a moderator, and I think you'll realize that pretty soon once your profile starts turning red.🤣
granitefox16 said:The common label for them is "those who aren't ashamed to be Americans"...🙂

You just slap that label on them because you know it hits where it hurts... old school trolling.😉

Look, I don't have anything against trading insults, but damn this tennis 😠 when some guy is constantly serving up cheap shots on their behalf,😲 and then when I actually manage to hit a decent return, some villainous umpire calls me out.👎🤷
granitefox16 said:Nah, the code is bbb😁

Well, I guess they've expanded the definition of that term lately, since people were throwing that same label around on Thompson's thread too.😉
granitefox16 said:We're all just part of that same "North American trash" crew... at least that's what I read on a thread today.🤣

Ah, the MPT code.😉👍
granitefox16 said:...

That's problematic, man... seriously problematic.😁

If you want a real suggestion, I’d say just go with an axe... though if the mod sees this, I'm dead meat...😁

You must have stepped on his toe pretty hard if he's coming at you like this.😲
driftingdriver said:I can't say I really agree with that. This is just one isolated instance. If someone presents me with solid arguments, I have no problem offering an apology.

http://www.reddit.com/post/14446159&postcount=4

The fact that I rarely apologize doesn't necessarily mean I rarely make mistakes; it doesn't mean I'm some genius, either. It simply means I am deeply considerate of others, and that I invest a significant amount of energy into my decision-making process, ensuring that in any ambiguous situation, I wouldn't go around penalizing posts unnecessarily.

@Gregory Howard: Thanks for the compliment. I truly value your takes on Politics. I was always reluctant to hand out penalties to users on this Reddit, but I had to do it because of the rules and the actual conduct of certain users, which unfortunately left me with no other choice.

And of all people, you just had to pick on me.🤣

Come on, be honest now—did I actually insult you or write anything disrespectful in those private messages?😉
granitepilot282 said:Psst, you poor soul... imagine them picking you for a mod position just so you could ban everyone who doesn't follow the rules. Wouldn't that be something?😁

So, you're telling me I should go out of my way to make more work for the Admins.🤣
granitepilot282 said:So, this troll doesn't fit the bill. Let's see who actually does... though honestly, it's much easier to list who *doesn't* fit, so let's just stick to that.
driftingdriver isn't the one, because he’s so busy trying to be a bigger Pope than the Pope himself that he’s turned into an Inquisitor. I don't mean his username, obviously, but his whole vibe. On top of that, he’s convinced himself he's sinless; he’d probably find it easier to convince a donkey to swim across the Mississippi while shouting "For the glory of the Republic!" than to actually offer an apology when he screws up.
As for granitefox16, why even waste the breath? That guy doesn't get it. I've seen wooden Mary statues with more flexibility, but this guy is exceptionally rigid. He’s picked up a few buzzwords that he repeats constantly, and if you aren't singing along to them, you're going to have a bad time. God forbid you try to debate him on a thread, because he’ll just ban you immediately. If you complain about the ban, he’ll just ban you again, and it goes on and on until you're totally out of luck. 🤣 In short, a vindictive mediocrity. A manic fanatic lost in his own hallucinations.

Mark Twain? For me, Reddit is just entertainment. Sometimes we outsmart each other, sometimes we trade insults, sometimes someone really gets under my skin—but generally, I hold them dear, even the ones I mock or insult. There are very few people who actually make me want to tear them apart. 🤣 Irritating nerd. Pathetic, a total failure who has set this forum back three steps. Just plain stupid.
Simba? Simba is alright. He’s messed up before, sure, but he knew where he went wrong and fixed it. He’s human enough to say, "Okay, I screwed up." To me, that’s enough to earn my respect.

...so yeah, that's the lineup. Now, for some suggestions.
hollowwalker142. He was already suggested once, but he turned it down because he didn't want to hang out with the losers mentioned above. Suggest him again, let him pick his own team, and the forum will run like a well-oiled machine. ☕

You're crazy,😲 what did I ever do to offend you?😠 I thought we were cool, but apparently not.😲

Ignore this suggestion; I'm a hardcore ultra-nationalist, a fascist, and the worst thing imaginable—I listen to Thompson.👍 😁

Personally, there's no way I could accept a moderator role, because I'd just spend all day harassing myself and my clones on PZK.🤣

Secondly, I'd have to hand out my own bans for trolling, since I'm such a fair person.😢 😁

So, a pure conflict of interest.

Jonathan Morales79 said:I don't even know where to begin... just absolute madness... everything is falling apart and nobody seems to care! It's all just a mess... a complete disaster... honestly, I'm at my wit's end with this whole situation... Your Excellency... They were actually addressing that resource... you know, that one that looks like some low-rent, bottom-shelf merchant traveler peddling cheap knockoffs... they were basically just dumping everything onto a completely transparent Mason von Regijon jedini... Mason von Regijon jedini... just... unbelievable. Truly beyond belief. I sit here, staring at this screen, trying to make sense of the absolute chaos unfolding, and it’s like... how? How can anyone even function under such madness? It’s all falling apart... crumbling right before our eyes... and nobody seems to care! Not one single soul! It’s enough to drive a man to the brink... absolutely maddening...

For the only true American President, Dr. Franjo Harmon, the mission was clear: liberate us from the occupiers. He had to build and secure our nation's sovereignty under circumstances that were, frankly, beyond belief... absolutely impossible. And honestly? It’s hardly any surprise that he had to deal with such a... colorful collection of characters surrounding him. From absolute geniuses to a total menagerie of lowlifes... it was just part of the job.
Sometimes I sit here and wonder... if he hadn't been so incredibly soft during those delicate times... if he hadn't been so remarkably lenient when everything was hanging by a thread... maybe things would be different. He should have been far more decisive. Much stricter. Instead, he was just... too mild. Far too mild for what was actually required...

As far as this song goes... I truly believe that once you’ve finished reading it, you simply cannot remain indifferent. It hits you. There is humor, there is sarcasm, layers of irony, sharp satire... these aren't just flourishes. They are rhetorical weapons used to bypass those psychological defense trenches we all build up—those stubborn prejudices we cling to so desperately... it’s quite calculated, really...
To trigger that psychological, deeply intimate emotion... the kind that acts as the master key to slip in your desired "hook" while delivering the actual substance of the message... well, now *that* is true artistry... 🙏 It's a gift... truly... 👍
Look, you shouldn't approach this song with any kind of malicious intent or some sort of self-righteous moral superiority... that’s just not the point at all. It’s more like a satirical caprice, really... a sharp, biting little nudge meant to warn us about our own sinful tendencies, if you follow my drift... I am absolutely sick of this... truly fed up with the whole Kroeten situation... It’s just one thing after another! Every time I turn around, there’s more nonsense, more incompetence, more of the same old excuses... I can't even begin to describe the level of frustration here... It's just maddening! .

Finally... even the legendary Shakespeare actually managed to ramble on in Hamlet about... I don't even know where to begin with this... just absolute nonsense... some sort of complete lack of direction... nothingness... The sheer level of corruption... it’s everywhere you look. It’s absolute madness how deep the rot goes in a place like Denmark... just a complete lack of integrity at the highest levels... it makes my blood boil... 😉It’s the same old story... back in the day, we had all these heavyweights like Matoš and Krleža constantly being dragged into the fray, and now? Now they’re even turning on someone like P. Thompson... it just goes to show that nothing has actually changed. It’s the exact same pattern, over and over again...

Still, if this song can trigger even a fleeting moment of reflection—maybe a tiny spark of shame in the guilty, or perhaps just a visceral sense of disgust and a desperate urge to distance oneself from such blatant, predatory behavior in the unblemished... then the very existence of this song, and its circulation among the public, is more than just desirable. It is absolutely essential...

Finally... I mean, isn't that the whole point? At the end of the day, the entire purpose of art is to... well, you know... It’s just... it's all building up... the tension, the noise... everything is just constructing this massive, overwhelming pile of nonsense... and nobody seems to notice... or maybe they do and they just don't care... which is almost worse... it's all just building... and building... and building... Make a man better... 🙏

This at least deserves to be quoted, though I doubt the thread starter will grasp what you're actually communicating here. I suspect they opened this topic out of pure malice, hoping for yet another chance to spit on the legacy of President Franjo Harmon.

mistycyclist5 said:So, as an American conservative, you’re actually agreeing with everything that song says about Franjo Harmon?

Give me a break.😳

It’s pretty obvious by now that you just don't get it—you don't have a clue.😉

Since you failed to grasp the song on the first listen (because if you had, you wouldn't be laughing), it's clear you can't process what anyone else is writing either. So, I'll just tell you one thing: read my post about ten more times, and maybe then the actual meaning will finally sink in.👍

mistycyclist5 said:The song isn't exactly hilarious or a comedy routine, but honestly, God, the truth in it is laid out with such sharp sarcasm that when I first read it, I couldn't help but laugh 😁

I didn't laugh. I don't care about the style or how it's written; what matters is the message behind it. This song is a direct assault on the senses—it hits exactly where it hurts most for anyone who truly loves this country deep in their soul.

mistycyclist5 said:Oh, it’s perfectly clear... but seriously, what’s your take on the song, hollowwalker142? 😁

My stance is pretty clear from my last post. I don't agree with the poetic premise 100%, but when it comes to what's been happening in America from the Reagan era right up to today, it hits the nail on the head—which is the tragic part. If you think this song is some kind of joke or lighthearted entertainment, then you're missing the point entirely. This isn't comedy; it's a requiem for our own lack of imagination and the sheer negligence we've shown toward our own future.

Look, as a people and as a nation, we should be inspired by beautiful things—stuff we can actually feel proud of. Instead, we deal with this constant decay, all the mockery and dirty politics and whatever else is still being tolerated here in America.

I started editing my post because mistycyclist5 clearly doesn't get what you wrote🤷 but then it deleted me😕

Hopefully it's clear to him now.😁

Alright then, driftingdriver, looks like I’m officially stepping up as the political moderator now. 🤣

In that case, the old saying applies—back before cars or even bikes, when people went "from a stallion to a donkey." Or maybe even that one about jumping from one horse straight to another, though in this scenario, the first one is probably more realistic.🤣

I’m speaking figuratively here, obviously, so nobody takes it personally.😁
