I’ve been watching the transfer window closely lately, and I can’t help but feel like we’re heading toward a massive imbalance in the league. It feels like every time a big club gets close to landing a massive talent, they don't just stop there—they immediately go out and grab a second or third piece to complete a specific puzzle.
It reminds me of those dominant eras from ten or fifteen years ago where one or two clubs just seemed to have an unfair monopoly on the best talent. It’s exciting to watch when you're a fan of the big spenders, but if you're a supporter of a mid-tier club, it’s honestly pretty demoralizing. It feels like the gap between the "haves" and the "have-nots" is just widening every single season.
Do you think these massive, multi-player hauls actually make for a better product for fans, or does it just ruin the competitive spirit of the sport?
I was wondering if it’s actually possible to look at blood work—including tumor markers—and detect the presence of cancer somewhere in the body, which could then lead to more specific diagnostic imaging, like an ultrasound or similar scans, to pinpoint the exact location?
As for the whole issue of markers and out-of-pocket costs—my brother recently had some blood drawn—not even for any specific symptom, just a routine checkup—and he mentioned they ran all the markers and he didn't have to pay a dime. He has full insurance coverage and everything is perfectly up to date, so there were no fees involved... now I’m sitting here wondering whether they actually tested for every single marker or just a select few?

I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't touch any kind of stimulants... as for love, I’ve been single for a loooooong time—so I don't think that's really an issue here. Regarding my behavior—which is also something new to me—I find myself getting incredibly irritated and losing my temper very quickly; I end up yelling (not over trivial things, but it used to take much longer for me to reach a breaking point)... As for my past behavior—I never had any issues through middle school or high school—everything was always fine, everything was always an A (both grades and conduct).
As I mentioned in my title, I am facing a rather significant struggle with my ability to study. I am currently in my junior year of college, and until now, I have never encountered an issue quite like this—so I am truly at a loss as to how to tackle it. The core of the problem is this: whenever I actually sit down to focus, I can barely manage ten or fifteen minutes before I feel this overwhelming compulsion to get up—to turn on the TV, hop on the computer... then I try to return to the books for another fifteen minutes, and the cycle repeats indefinitely. It is entirely unproductive—just a massive waste of time... I do not believe it is a lack of motivation, because I have a MASSIVE, absolutely enormous desire to pass this exam—especially since I only have one more course left before my senior year.
Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated...
Lately, I’ve been feeling this increasingly intense sensation—as if my bones are actually "cracking"—and there’s this persistent grinding in my joints, specifically starting from my fingers and spreading to almost every other joint in my body. Can anyone shed some light on what might be causing this... how I can mitigate it... and which specialist I should consult—perhaps an orthopedic surgeon? Or is it even necessary at this stage?

Can you just pick them up at a local CVS, or do you actually need a prescription?
Could someone please recommend some over-the-counter pills to help boost my concentration? I am looking for something that won't lead to dependency or habit-forming issues—I have exams coming up and could really use the edge... thanks

Look, I wasn't under the impression I’d be packing on pounds just from the supplements themselves—I figured they might actually improve my appetite, which would lead to gaining a few pounds...
Dennis Miller said:Good grief... look, if you hit the gym, you're just burning an extra 1,000 calories—if you're eating the way you currently are, it’s basically a counterproductive effort... furthermore, with these brutal summer temperatures in the States, your body is losing massive amounts of water; you're completely drained. In my opinion, this current stretch—with eight months still left in the season—is hardly the ideal window to try and pack on weight... try focusing on high-calorie intake right now... the moment you wake up, grab a cheese bagel, then maybe a sandwich an hour or two later, followed by a substantial lunch... eat more bread, for heaven's sake. Between lunch and dinner, squeeze in another meal—say, some raisins mixed with honey and cornflakes, or another sandwich... then dinner, and before bed, just have a bar of chocolate... and honestly, if you have the budget, pick up some Mega Mass and hit the sit-ups, push-ups, and pull-ups at home; I guarantee you'll put on 10 pounds in a month or two...
My god, man... if I ate that much in a single day, I wouldn't even wake up the next morning!!! I don't even consume that amount in an entire week, which is why I feel fine. And I should mention—I have never touched a cigarette in my life, nor do I drink alcohol. It makes me wonder what would happen if I actually used one or the other, or both... how much weight I would be carrying by then...
Just to add my two cents: last month I was being diligent about taking my Centrum multivitamins every single day—but this month? I’ve scaled back to once every two or three days... mostly because I just forget, or perhaps because I've realized there isn't much point in bothering...
Look, there’s no need to go at each other on my account... I will attempt to address a select few of the questions you've posed—not because I lack the capacity to answer them all 😁, but simply because the sheer volume of inquiries is becoming excessive. I eat on a regular schedule—breakfast, lunch, and quite often dinner, though I admit I skip the latter frequently. Regarding medical advice, my father is a physician—he was in general practice and has since transitioned to OB/GYN—who constantly tells me, YOU DON'T EAT ENOUGH SO THAT'S WHY YOU'RE THIN; YOU AVOID FATTY FOODS, YOU JUST SLATHER EVERYTHING IN PHISHERMAN'S FRIEND OR MAYONNAISE, BLAH BLAH BLAH... while that holds a grain of truth, the situation isn't quite that dire. As for physical activity, I spent some time training at a buddy's place—he has a small home gym setup—but once I realized I wasn't seeing any tangible results, I just gave up. The most frustrating part is that I view eating—whether it's lunch, breakfast, or dinner—as an absolute OBLIGATION rather than a biological necessity; honestly, I often find eating to be a chore. I rarely feel actual hunger. And as far as I am aware, I don't have issues with my heart or kidneys, mainly because I never experience pain or any physical discomfort. Not even with digestion!
Listen, I have a massive problem here. I am 21 years old, standing 6'0", and I weigh ONLY 110 pounds. Can anyone actually tell me how to put on at least 45 pounds... thanks
