Canon Pixma driver for Windows 7 32-bit in Computer Peripherals ·
Honestly, you should just grab the drivers from the HP website. They have a whole section dedicated to them. You've gotta do a little digging for newer operating systems, but seriously, the stuff mentioned above ought to work fine. I mean, I can't believe people think you have to go out and buy a brand-new HP just because you upgraded your OS. I’ve heard some ridiculous talk to the contrary, but it's nonsense.😲

Man, you're pulling my leg here... I hit Start, right? Mouse my way over to my Computer, right-click, hit properties, left-click—boom—and the whole system just starts screaming at me. Like, seriously.

I’m thinking I might need to hunt down a driver for a different HP model since the specific driver for the 6122 isn't playing nice with Windows 7.
Thanks 🙏

Look, if it's not recognizing it, it's probably just being stubborn. Try this: click Start, right-click on "Computer," then hit Properties. Down in the bottom left, click on Action Center, then Troubleshooting, then click "Run programs designed for older versions of Windows." Run that, and honestly, that should do the trick.☕

Do you even still have the CD-drive with the drivers for that old HP printer?

Oh, for sure. "This server crashes constantly, and I've been hanging around this forum for a bit, so I know it happens all the time." 😕

What even is a "secure computer"? Just leave those 100MB alone—that's just the system reserved partition Windows 7 creates during installation.

By secure computer, I meant the Windows 7 virtualization software.😛

Here's how I can help you out, buddy. My kid installed Windows 7 on my rig yesterday
and now I'm dealing with a massive headache. If I roll the PC back to its previous state, everything’s fine, but if you want a real fix... look at the bottom right corner of your screen, by the clock. See that little flag icon? Read up on system restores.☕

🙏So here’s the deal, folks. My kid installed Windows 7 yesterday and everything seems to be running fine, but he threw it all onto
just one partition. I was wondering if there's any way to set up an XP mode on a separate partition to act as a secure machine
instead. Right now, the disk management shows unallocated space and then c: at 149gb 🙄

Look, if you want that report on the issues and how to fix them, just head over to the Control Panel and check out the Problem History view. Those are just basic logs, though. If you really want to dig deep, you’d better go poking around the registry... but honestly, don't bother, it's a total mess. Facebook.☕

Which All-in-One printer should I buy? in Computer Peripherals ·
frozencrane522 said:Alright experts, I need some help here😉😁
I’ve got a question for you guys: what kind of printer would you actually recommend? I’m looking for something budget-friendly that actually works, but most importantly, I need one where the replacement ink isn't going to break the bank.🙄
I was looking at an Epson model online for about $133, but honestly, I have no clue if it's actually any good.😁

So, I’m looking at these Canon Pixma models—either the 1500 or the 1600—and they’re sitting there priced anywhere from $350 up to... well, you know how it goes. Prices are all over the map lately. It feels like every time I turn around, the cost of basic gear just creeps up another notch. Just my luck, right? $133Man, original ink will set you back like $100 easy. It’s a total racket.
I don't even know exactly how much it costs, honestly. I’m just buying the off-brand replacements that go for like $50.
do $20Look, I print a ton. Like, a ridiculous amount. And honestly? It’s totally fine. If you're looking at those All-in-One combos, then you're probably good to go.
Man, I’m looking at these new HP setups and honestly? It feels like a total rip-off. You go to pick up an All-in-One for scanning, faxing, printing, or just basic copying, and the price tag on a new HP is getting ridiculous. It’s getting out of hand. $317 Look, if you want this thing to actually work without throwing a fit, just get the genuine ink. Don't even bother with those cheap knockoffs. Just grab the original stuff.
$53 I'm running an HP, but I haven't picked up any replacement ink yet. Honestly? It’s probably dirt cheap. I mean, why bother overpaying?☕
