Anesthesia Technician jobs in Health ·
...hey there, buddy... so they're actually dragging you into the OR after all...😉...and I specifically told them yesterday to leave you alone and let us keep you to ourselves...😍
...you've pretty much read everything here, but I'll just add that none of our anesthesia techs have ever had any special training beyond just putting in some hours at JLL... though lately, things have been shifting slightly and people are starting to pay more attention to it, so every now and then someone might head out to a seminar, a workshop, or a session of Congress... unfortunately, as usual, those "perks" usually go to the "chosen few"... but maybe with this new center opening up, things might finally improve since the workload is going to be massive...🤷
...later, see you at the handoff😉
Urgent: Piercing Studio help needed! in Health ·
...is it a cartilage piercing?...if it's just a ball on both ends, one side has to unscrew, so maybe you're turning the wrong way?...🤷
...btw. how long have you had your ear pierced?...maybe the hole hasn't fully healed yet, so the "wound" is still weeping and discharge is building up in the earring threads...in that case, make sure to soak everything in some disinfectant while you try to get it off...just so the wound doesn't get infected, and maybe it'll help loosen those crusties from the threads...
...I haven't personally done one, but I work in a clinic where we perform them on patients almost every single day... A biopsy isn't actually that painful, usually because you get some local anesthetic first... If you were out drinking heavily over the weekend right before getting blood work done, that could definitely skew the results, but seeing levels that high every single time shouldn't just be from the occasional party or smoking a little weed... There isn't really a "recovery period" since it's an outpatient procedure, but it would be smart to redo all your tests first and definitely check your vitals to make sure there isn't a risk of bleeding... Most liver diseases are tied to blood clotting issues, so that’s one of the real dangers... You're definitely supposed to rest for 24 hours after the biopsy—meaning no eating and staying on your back for at least 4 hours right after, then avoiding any heavy activity until the next day... If you've already done all the other tests like ultrasounds, X-rays, and blood panels, and your doctor still can't figure out why your GGT levels are spiked, then a biopsy is really the only way left to find out what's actually going on...

...so then the groundhog wrapped the chocolate in foil...🙂

...btw. where's the rest of the story? 😕
