There aren't any GTX cards left, and GTejki is down to his very last 15 units...
You really ought to hurry up and grab yours, because at this rate, they’ll be all gone before you even know it... 🙂
Edward Peterson70 said:you just swap out the top fan for an 80mm one, then secure it with some zip ties, rubber bands, or maybe even a bit of silicone...

But seriously, how on earth is someone supposed to fit a bulky 80mm fan inside a slim laptop? 😁

Nah, don't even worry about it. Just crank that multiplier up to the max and let it rip... 🙂 You'll hit that
FSB wall pretty quickly when you're working with an E5200, though...
The voltage situation really depends on which specific chip you've got in your hands and, obviously, how high you're pushing the frequency... I'd suggest making sure you don't go over 1.35V while you're inside
Windows, but if you notice any significant Vdroop, feel free to bump it up a bit more directly in the BIOS...

It’s looking more and more like we might be dealing with a motherboard issue here... just to be absolutely certain though, you should probably try bumping up the CPU voltage a bit and see if that stops the symptoms from popping up again. 🙂

It’s looking great, little guy! 🙂

And honestly, don't sweat the Vdroop too much because it's actually pretty standard... usually, if you upgrade to a higher-end motherboard, you'll see a much smaller drop 🙂

By the way, I actually ended up selling an E2200 to a buddy of mine recently... 🙂
  • MSI HD3850 256MB - $165 / Best Buy
  • CLUB 3D ATI Radeon HD4670, 512 MB - $200 / Amazon - this is truly a fantastic little card if you're just looking to run things at 1280x1024 or even lower resolutions... while it does have that narrower 128-bit bus, the clock speeds are impressively high, which honestly makes it punch way above its weight class compared to the old 3850 series, plus you don't even need to worry about grabbing an extra power supply unit
  • 1GB DDR2 PC6400 Kingmax MARS - $27 / Micro Center
  • 2GB DDR2 PC6400 Kingmax MARS - $51 / Micro Center

Motherboard: ASUS P4P800
CPU: Intel 2,4C 800 fsb
GPU: ATI X1650pro
TV Tuner Card
RAM: 2GB
HDD: 2xSATA
CD ROM
DVD ROM
PSU: Tagan 400W

I am really curious to know what the absolute last card released by AMD was that still utilized an AGP slot, specifically something that would be a step up from my current setup... Price isn't really a factor here, I just want to make sure it's actually available at a local shop in the US, ideally something from Sapphire if possible. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

In my opinion, going with a PowerColor model would probably be your best bet, mainly because they tend to design such incredibly efficient cooling solutions...

-PCI-E graphics card
-AMD Athlon 64x2 6000+, 2x1 GB Kingmax 800MHz, motherboard: AliveNf6g-DVI, power supply: LC Power 14cm Fan Cooler Master Hyper 212
-All I need is for the GPU to run GTA IV at 1280*1024 on medium settings, since I play everything at 1280*1024 because of my 17" monitor
-I'm willing to set aside up to $233
-The stores I'm looking at are Amazon, Micro Center, and Best Buy

So yeah, that’s the deal, so if you guys could please recommend a solid graphics card based on these specs...

If I were in your shoes, I'd probably grab one of these:

http://www.diskont24.com/product.php?productid=31251

That first option is an incredibly strong choice, plus it comes with a really fantastic cooler... If that ends up being a bit too pricey for your budget, though, maybe aim for the 9600GSO with 384MB of memory—it should be around $193 or so at... — just keep in mind that their version has a slightly louder cooler, which might be a bit of a nuisance...
Do $117 I'm pretty sure there isn't anything new out there at all... if you're looking for something, you'd really have to hunt down some used gear, maybe a 7800GS or even a 7600GT... those usually hover right around the 300-$117 mark... 😉
I don't follow the AGP graphics card scene very closely myself, but since nobody else seems to be chiming in here...

None of those three options really hit the mark. You didn't mention what kind of budget we're working with, did you?

Or maybe this one...

http://www.diskont24.com/product.php?productid=36606

And you haven't even told us what kind of power supply you're running! Honestly... -.-

Anyway, that second option is a bit of an overkill for what you need, though I'd say anything weaker than a Gigabyte Radeon HD3650 with GDDR3 memory just isn't worth the money at this point. If you're willing to look at the used market, you might have better luck hunting down an x1950pro or perhaps a 7800GS/7900GS...
Since everyone seems to be talking about graphics cards all at once lately, I figured I'd set up this dedicated thread just to keep things organized and make sure all the helpful info stays in one easy-to-find spot...

We have a few house rules that we really need you to follow:
  • Are you looking for an AGP or a PCI-E card?
  • What does your current or upcoming setup look like, and what kind of power supply are you running?
  • What resolution are you planning to play at?
  • How much of a budget are we working with here?
  • Which retailers are you considering?
  • If you have any other specific requirements, please go ahead and list them out...

Just a heads-up, any separate threads created outside of this main discussion regarding graphics cards will be closed and removed...
PC Gamer just dropped some massive updates ->

Scythe Musashi SCVMS-1000 VGA cooler - $107. This feels like such a fantastic alternative to the Acceleru S1, especially since it actually comes with fans, and they're these low-profile ones too, which means they won't hog all your precious space inside the case... 🙂

Magicool 2x240 Xtreme liquid cooling radiator - $183. Now, I’ll be the first to admit I’m not exactly an expert when it comes to custom loops, but looking at this, it seems like an absolute steal for the price🙂
.
Coolink GFX Chilla VGA cooler - $80. This is a really impressive little piece of kit for GPU cooling, and the best part is how versatile it is, since you can pretty much mount it onto almost any graphics card out there
...
Noctua NF-P12 120 mm fan - $53. Honestly, if you ask me, this is the gold standard for 120mm fans in the entire world, and it runs so quietly you'll practically forget it's even spinning
.
Noctua NH-C12P CPU cooler - $153. I don't think I even need to introduce this one to you guys, because it's basically the undisputed heavyweight champion whenever you're talking about high-end CPU cooling solutions
.
LEADTEK WinFast 8800 GTS 512 MB - $333 Hgspot
