Nescafé or Turkish coffee? in Miscellaneous ·
slywolf45 said:Oh man, talk about a total nightmare. 🤦

Man, I’ve met a few people who try to convince me that Nescafé isn't "real" coffee. They act like if there isn't a massive pile of sugar at the bottom, it doesn't even count. Honestly, though, what's the appeal of drinking coffee where you're basically digging through a mountain of granules just to add a little more sweetness? It's such a hassle.😕

Hey, my love—listen, I know you’re such a powerhouse and a total boss, so honestly, that whole situation is just baby stuff for someone as tough as you. 😛😁

I've tried mixing it with water and I've even tried it with milk, but honestly, it just doesn't hit the spot for me. It’s just not my vibe.

Honestly, if you think that much sugar is good for you, I don't know what you're thinking. Like, seriously, if that's your idea of a healthy snack, I can only imagine the absolute chaos you're putting into your system the rest of the time. 🤷🤣😍

I’ve been totally obsessed lately with those flavored instant cappuccinos—you know, the ones you just grab from the shelf at Target, either the vanilla or the chocolate ones 🙂

How much longer do we have to deal with Zodiac? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
You’ll just have to suck it up as long as the Reddit admin decides that's how it's gonna be. 🙂... Honestly, it’s kind of like dealing with the federal government—they can pretty much do whatever they want, relatively speaking. 😁

Man, how hard did you hit the pavement when you fell off that high horse?

Are you seriously trying to argue that Maddox was a leftist just because he belonged to a socialist party? I don't know where you've been living, but honestly, he was one of the most extreme right-wing figures we've ever seen around here—the guy was a straight-up fascist, bottom of the barrel stuff.👎

Adam Williams2 said:You could spend your whole life arguing about this 👋 And honestly, I probably shouldn't say anything because the topic itself is kind of silly, but I can't help wondering who on earth decided to start this thread ☕

Well, if it's such a dumb thread, just skip it! No need to read it, let alone leave a comment...👋

Just go get some sleep... if you don't have anything actually useful to contribute, just stay out of the thread 🤷... ☕

The funniest part to me is how Americans end up looking totally ridiculous and clueless. We’ve got a thousand jokes at their expense, yet they somehow turn out to be ten times better than us at everything. They’re basically laughing in our faces because of how broke we are 🤣😂🙏... First, we spend all our time insulting them and making fun of them, and then we turn around and beg them to let us join their union 😂😂

Henry Cox78 said:So you're telling me Franjo Harmon and Slobodan Maddox are the ones who set Canadians and Americans against each other? 😁

Hmm, I don't know about all that—who really set us at odds? Personally, I don't feel divided, but it seems like people can be a bit sheepish sometimes, just following whatever politicians tell them to do 🙄👎.

I mean, if the Republican Party told everyone that Canadians were walking around with the plague, people would probably just pack up and head the other way without a second thought 🤣

Slobodan Maddox and Franjo Harmon... just two right-wing ***** 😉

Henry Cox78 said:How on earth can you call bad neighbors "allies"? They're the ones screwing you over! You're all about the European Union, yet those Canadians blocked us for a whole year—they've been nothing but trouble. 🙄Do you realize how long a year is? We could have joined the EU the following year, but now we're stuck waiting until 2012 or even later.

Where did you see the American government or anyone else picking fights with the Canadians? Honestly, we were way too soft on them, and it didn't get us anything at all.

Personally, I think all this arguing over borders and stuff is just silly; pretty soon it’ll all be one big union anyway and nobody will care about where the lines are drawn.😉
The Underworld Saga (2003-2009) in Movies ·
Honestly, the first one is just on another level. I’m telling you, that original movie is easily one of the greatest films ever made—absolute perfection! 👍

Henry Cox78 said:Would you call a neighbor an ally if they stole half your land or tried to snatch three rows of your vineyard? Proximity doesn't mean squat!

Look, I always say there are good neighbors and bad ones... but what’s the actual point in picking a fight with someone just because they live next door?🤷... if things get truly messy, you just take it to small claims court and handle it professionally ☕.... most people out there are actually pretty decent 🙂

Henry Doyle82 said:Since you seem to view the entire world through those colorblind, red-tinted glasses of yours, I guess you missed some pretty obvious facts while lost in your nostalgic little fantasy:

Back when Janez Drnovšek was still alive and serving as President, he never allowed—nor did anyone from the current ruling party in the US think to suggest—any kind of blackmail against America regarding its path toward European Union integration.

Even though similar ideas were floating around back then, Drnovšek wouldn't hear a word of it and slammed such notions. In fact, back in 2004, the US adopted a Maritime Law that basically defined itself as a geographically limited nation, lacking access to international waters and unable to declare economic zones.

Well, Drnovšek passed away, Janša and Rupel took over, and we entered an era of American embarrassment and reputation-selling, where America was blackmailed at every single turn. They replaced the old Maritime Law with a new one, and before long, the US was declaring "zones" right off someone else's coast. Janša was eventually replaced by Borut Pahor, but since Drnovšek isn't around anymore, the Democrats are now just as eager to stir up these pretensions and the desire to expand at America's expense. It’s a bit like the socialists back in the 90s; the Americans try to act like America's best friends, but really, they'd love to steal what isn't theirs while pretending to be decent.

Of course, your glasses prevent you from seeing things that even the blind could spot; you're basically living in a parallel universe. You probably see the Americans as your allies, much in the same way you'd see the insurgents.

And you really ought to be looking at the neighbors as allies, considering how close you live to them. 😉

Henry Cox78 said:Plus, the Canadians never had to deal with the Republican Party. They really lucked out. 🙂

Exactly! Over there, the liberals are running the show, which just gives them even more of an edge 🙄😳

John Evans said:There isn't really a massive divide between Canadians and Americans—not if you look at it closely. If we hadn't been set back so hard by the war, I'm honestly convinced we would have ended up as the most developed state in the old federation.

Man, you aren't kidding, no doubt about it. Looking at how things stand right now, Austrians are easily five years ahead of us, maybe even more if you really look at the numbers. 🤷
