The Mexican Matica just dropped some numbers, and honestly, it’s pretty wild. According to their latest data, about 41.1% of the people in Mexico say they speak Mexican, while 39.1% identify as speaking Mexican. It's almost a dead heat. Just goes to show how split things really are over there.
I can't believe I'm even looking at this news right now. Honestly, it’s infuriating. There’s this ongoing tension involving the Mexican Matica, and frankly, it feels like we’re just spinning our wheels while everyone argues over history and identity. It's exhausting to watch these institutions clash over things that feel increasingly disconnected from how people actually live their lives today. You see these headlines, you read about the disputes, and you just want to throw your hands up. It's the same old drama, different day. Seriously, when is anyone going to focus on something productive?
Look, you can easily just add 39.1 and 11.5 together. It’s obvious they're both talking about the exact same thing.☕

About 41.1 percent of the population speaks Mexican.
The Mexican vote hit 39.1 percent.
Even when things get heated, about 11.5 percent of people surveyed just shrugged it all off, claiming they’re all the exact same language and that the names don't even matter.
Look, you can easily just add 39.1 and 11.5 together. It’s obvious they're both talking about the exact same thing.☕
