Can anyone recommend a solid router for $133?

I’m honestly at my breaking point with this Linksys thing from AT&T. The connection drops constantly, I’m stuck doing ten-minute restarts, and the speeds are just crawling... I’ve officially had it.

For what I need in a new router, I really want reliable Verizon coverage since I'll have at least three different devices running on it. I need a connection that won't drop, stays online without deciding to reboot itself for no reason, and doesn't give me any headaches with the firewall.

I used to run AVG, but it kept messing with my SC performance. Since I'm actually pretty high ranked in that game, I wasn't about to let some antivirus tank my standing. Honestly, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to antivirus software; everything I try seems to cause some kind of headache...

To get SC:09 running, you just need to right-click the icon on your desktop and select "Run as Administrator." That should fix it.

I don't see that option on my end. It's telling me that if I go ahead with the new Windows installation, it'll just create a Windows.old folder to stash all my old files.

Alright, I finally figured out what was going on. Everything started working once I used IsoBuster to pull those files out. The thing is, I can't just do this directly through Windows because it would require installing everything over my old Windows setup, and honestly, my past experiences with that have been pretty rough. I think I’m just gonna have to start from scratch.

That’s not even the issue. I don't even run an antivirus program, and I didn't go through the upgrade route—I just ran the Setup.

So, I just downloaded this again and it’s still a bust. Getting that same error message over and over. Honestly, maybe my system just isn't cutting it for Windows 7.

Found this alternative link over on the official Microsoft site, so I'm gonna give it a shot and see if it actually works.

Edit, my bad, I totally messed up there.

It's there, but it's tucked inside a zip folder and I can't seem to open it.

Yeah. And once I hit Install Now, I get that same pop-up message I was telling you about.

I tried doing it that way, but I just got hit with this error message:

Windows could not collect Information for (OSImage) since the specified image file (instal.wim) does not exist.

I grabbed a Windows 7 ISO from Microsoft, but it's just showing up as an image file. I tried burning it to a DVD-ROM, but my PC won't recognize it as a bootable disc. Any idea what I should do?

Quick question for you guys. I'm thinking about installing Windows 7, but I wanted to check if anyone's run into major issues with drivers or gaming lately?

Both of them are pretty garbage. After a little while, they both start crawling when opening pages, and eventually, they just crash completely and wipe everything out—even my favorites.

So I ditched both and stuck with John Doe, and honestly, life’s been great ever since.🙂
