Honestly, I don't see anything special about it, especially not with Clooney in the lead. I mean, sure, it’s a solid performance, but calling it one of the best of the year is a massive stretch...

And yeah, the movie is totally overrated.

Everyone knows that during the making of Alien, Fincher was working under basically impossible conditions, and the studio ended up hacking out huge chunks of his vision anyway, so I honestly doubt he looks back on that movie with anything but frustration...

Regardless of all that, I think the third Alien gets way too much hate. It has these flashes of absolute genius, especially that final scene where Ripley takes herself and the Queen down in a suicide mission—it’s the perfect way to end the series. A perfect ending that they absolutely had to ruin by forcing another sequel onto us.

Man, my absolute favorite director... I’m seriously torn between Se7en and Zodiac. Given how much one is outpolling the other, plus the fact that I just rewatched it and realized what an absolute masterpiece it is, I’m putting my money on Zodiac.

It feels like the project where Fincher poured his entire soul into the craft, and you can totally feel that intensity once the first 20 minutes grab you by the throat and don't let go. Honestly, I’ve got this gut feeling even Fincher would call it his finest work.

Not a single reply after the intro, but honestly, it's a solid comedy and worth a watch regardless. The script is actually pretty engaging, and seeing Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen together works great. It’s a bit long for a comedy, which makes the pacing drag toward the end, but still one of the funniest things I've seen lately...👍
