Now, Fight Club is definitely more intense when it comes to the acting—plus, it’s easily one of the most unique films ever made—but I have always been a huge fan of thrillers. I'll never quite forget the impact Se7en had on me the first time I saw it; for years, that was my absolute favorite movie. So, despite all the sheer brilliance of Fight Club, I might just lean toward Se7en this time around.

Se7en is my absolute favorite. I remember watching it for the first time back in the day, and man, I had never seen anything quite like it. I was pretty young then, yeah 😁 but it absolutely shook me to my core. It’s one of those films that just stays with you.
Now, Fight Club is a different story. I actually read the book before seeing the movie, so the film didn't hit me nearly as hard. Honestly? The book is so good it almost feels like the adaptation was unnecessary—it doesn't really bring much new to the table.

As for the rest? Either I haven't sat down to watch them (like Alien, Panic Room, or The Game), or they just don't hold a candle to those two.

I mean, look, I guess it's just my opinion, but even though he’s got several really heavy hitters in his career, Se7en is easily his most perfect work. It doesn't matter how you slice it—the acting, the direction, the script, that whole dark atmosphere... everything just clicks. It might be a bit much, but it's the only Fincher movie I’d honestly put in my top 10 films from the last 20 years.

Fight Club - Now, just some quick thoughts as I move through...
Panic Room / Se7en - Se7en is more than just an excellent movie, but Panic Room has a certain quality that makes it slightly better in my book.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - genuinely engaging from the first minute to the last.
Zodiac - a great film, though I have to admit—I got a little lost with the characters halfway through XD
XD Alien3 - Just when I thought they’d totally blow the Alien aspect, Fincher steps in and pleasantly surprises me.
The Game - fantastic film, though the ending is really due to Douglas 😁

I haven't seen The Social Network yet, but I have full confidence that Fincher won't let me down...

Personally, I’d say this is the best film ever made. It really possesses everything I look for in a movie. Honestly, I think it would be just as shocking to me if I were watching it for the very first time today.

I honestly find it a bit of a shame that The Game didn't snag any nominations at all, because it’s certainly not as if the film was lacking in quality.

Fight Club. I don't really have much to add to what everyone else has already said. I actually rewatched Se7en just a few months ago, and honestly? I still think FC edges it out by a hair.

I actually found it pretty fascinating—watching everything Benjamin goes through as he gets younger... the sheer scale of it all, the oddities...

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button—look, this movie isn't really for everyone.

I really loved the photography in Seven and that whole tense atmosphere they built, though I honestly think I’ve seen the game more times than I can count. And man, Sean Penn just absolutely rules.
