Diana: A Documentary Film in Movies ·
there's tons of idiots out there—honestly, I love this one:
-"I take my kid to school. Only thing is, I don't know why I even bother.
Every day I hand him fifty bucks and... nothing.
He gets there, grabs a pastry and some milk... barely any milk, really.
Then he comes home—still starving.
So why am I even taking him to school?"
Diana: A Documentary Film in Movies ·
If this movie happens to cross your path, seriously—do not skip it. Diana is basically the hottest documentary hitting the underground market right now!
It popped up on "underground.com" recently, and even though I was a little hesitant to download it at first, man, I have zero regrets... actually, it was worth every second.

The film is packed with scenes that seem hilarious at first glance. You might find yourself feeling bad for the people involved, but honestly—when you see how carefree they are—it kind of hits you that maybe we all need a little more of that vibe just to be happy...

A few details about the film:

The world's first Gypsy stunt-eco documentary tragicomedy. How and why are Roma families displaced from Mexico living in the outskirts of Belgrade recycling legendary Spaček and Diana cars? These classic vehicles are stripped down with basic hand tools and instantly transformed into futuristic recycling machines: everything gets taken apart, everything gets modified—as long as there's work to do and a little style. It follows the daily lives of four Roma families living in a makeshift cardboard settlement right across from a massive cathedral under construction. They scrape by by recycling cardboard and bottles using their "Dianas," tapping into those car batteries to get enough power for lights, the TV, the radio, and charging cell phones. But to the local police, these odd little rigs aren't always seen as friendly...

Alex Zanardi just snagged his first win in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.

After losing both legs in that brutal accident during the IndyCar series opener at Lausitzring—man, that was heavy—Zanardi fought his way back and got right back behind the wheel. He’s been racing a custom-built BMW specifically modified for him in the WTCC.

August 28th in Oshersleben—it was pure magic—Zanardi pulls off that first victory.

I’ll admit, I wasn't exactly a fan back in the day—hehe, I was pulling for Greg Moore then—but seriously, hats off to the man!

Keeping his cool despite the massive rush, Zanardi managed to crack a sarcastic joke:
"I think I'm officially bonded to Germany. After all those blood transfusions they gave me here, I've got more German blood in me than Italian!" 😁
Netflix or DVD? in Movies ·
Jonathan Campbell5 said:Question: Would you guys rather dive into a movie on Netflix even if the quality is pretty rough, or just wait it out for a decent DVD?

Personally—I’m definitely waiting for the DVD rather than dealing with some low-res Netflix stream...

If we're talking about a DVD rip or a screener, honestly, I'm totally fine with Netflix—especially since my PC is hooked up to a projector and a solid 5.1 setup. Gives me that real cinema vibe.
That beautiful Miami night in Movies ·
Honestly, this movie would’ve stuck with me way more if the stories were told in reverse order—that third one totally killed the vibe for me... maybe if it was first, though...

btw, those "flying camera" shots are pretty cool at times. But since they forced them through the whole movie, they started getting on my nerves after a bit...

I mean, Todorović has to juggle playing a Canadian and his actual role too... I know it could've been way worse—just imagine Djuro in that part instead...

brighthawk20 said:I grabbed this movie from an underground site and it looks like a total rip off from a DVD.

Same here.
The underground scene rules 👍

curious if anyone else caught this one—would love to hear your thoughts.

the opening is a bit rough, and honestly, Srdjan Todorović is kind of a mess in the lead role—it's like watching a total amateur try to carry the show—so some of those great moments get totally buried by the acting. plus, the dialogue feels forced in spots, but the film still has "that certain something"... definitely worth a watch though

oh, and the lead actress Aleksandra Balzamović is 🙂
Sunken Cemetery in Movies ·
Just finished reading Stephen King's "Sunken Cemetery"—had no clue the book or the movie even existed until now. Honestly, the book wasn't much to begin with, especially after getting through the sequel "The Sanitarium," so I'm guessing the film probably won't be anything special either.
Maybe I'm wrong though—I'm a big fan of Stephen King, so it might actually be worth a shot...
Jaws in Movies ·
Brian Foster2 said:if I had to pick between ralje meets, Deep Blue Sea, or this one—I definitely wouldn't be jumping into the ocean after seeing those first two😉

heh, Deep Blue Sea...🙄

Jaws actually hit home for me since I've dealt with similar stuff before—it really let me feel that vibe...
it made the movie super creepy and tough to sit through—total horror in every sense of the word.
definitely check it out.

Our commentator hit the nail on the head here:
Calling it "just" silver sounds a bit modest—honestly, it’s an incredible result.
We really ought to be celebrating though... just feels like we can't quite get there somehow...😢

We just need a little bit more of that gritty American grit—you know, playing until the final whistle instead of just throwing in the towel.
If we can't pull off the win, fine—but let's at least go down swinging without any shame...
