Wait, how is it that 3/4 of these cars are rocking what they call a "normal" nose design? Did I miss some massive rule change overnight, or do these engineers actually think this setup is superior for the airflow underneath the chassis?
Look, it’s not Kimi’s fault here, and it sure as hell isn't Alonso either—it was just a standard racing incident that nobody would have even blinked at five years ago ☕
Does Fernando Alonso have any luck at all? I mean, where is the luck when you're looking at car reliability? Did Massa drop out way more often than Alonso just because his car kept giving up on him?
Let’s set aside Massine’s contact with other cars, the punctured tires, the broken wings, and all that—that’s just what happens when you drive the way Massine does, not some stroke of luck or misfortune.
All Alonso really had was that bad break where Grosjean took him out, and that’s that. Trying to claim he's "lucky" because other drivers are crashing or dropping out due to mechanical failures... honestly, it makes zero sense to me. 🤷
Alonso drives smart, plain and simple, and that’s exactly why he’s racking up the points and sitting comfortably at the top of the standings right now. ☕
Raymond Anderson4 said:I have to say, this looks like a pretty messy situation for the leaders... they didn't pit, and now Mark Webber has gone in for a fresh set of soft tires. Are they really going to try and limp to the finish on those old mediums? Vettel, Butt, Ala.
Mark Webber still has 20 laps left on those things, plus he's gonna have to deal with some serious degradation.
