The vicious cycle of "bad" food in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I am actually losing my mind right now. I head to the dining hall for lunch and see "collard greens and potatoes" on the menu. So I grab some, and it’s basically just a pile of potatoes with the tiniest, most pathetic traces of greens imaginable. It’s unbelievable how much they rip people off... I know someone is going to chime in and say, "Well, at least you got fed," $1.75 but that's not the point. Nobody gives a damn about whether people are actually getting decent nutrition. I ate those scraps and finished the broth, and honestly? I'm still starving.

- The guilt is just massive. I feel absolutely terrible when I ruin my whole progress with some sugary crap. That guilt hangs over me for days, so whenever I’m tempted, I just remind myself how much of a wreck I’ll feel for the next few days... and the craving just vanishes. 🙂
- Lately, I can actually FEEL what that junk food does to me. Like, I can literally feel the sugar hitting my teeth after a soda, or that disgusting, bloated feeling after crushing an entire pizza... it makes me want to avoid it at all costs.

Anyway, great topic!

you're spot on

So, I picked up this book on the Montignac diet over the weekend and decided to completely overhaul how I eat. Honestly? I’m not even hungry most of the time. If I have some whole grain toast in the morning, I'm good until lunch... though if I had just grabbed a white bread sandwich instead, I probably would've been starving by now. Just an example...
The energy levels are through the roof. No afternoon slump, no crashing at night, and I’m drinking black coffee—which, mind you, I thought was physically impossible for me. I actually like it. It doesn't feel like some restrictive diet; it's more like a lifestyle shift. Sure, I had a massive craving for a Snickers yesterday (I fought it off, though), but I told myself NO. I'm 21. I don't want to spend the rest of my life struggling to fit into skinny jeans or missing out on clothes I love because I'm self-conscious about my legs... or whatever else. I want to actually live my life. I guess I used to "enjoy" food, but it was just mindless binging, leaving me feeling heavy and totally drained. Now I'm learning to actually listen to my body and see how it reacts to what I'm putting in it. Now I'm already spiraling into deep philosophy... I feel like a ghost 😁 😁 😁

hey everyone
Question for the ladies! in Health ·
hehehehehe

I can't even bring myself to ask... I just keep picturing some guy with totally hairless legs. God, help me.
I actually prefer hairy legs. Honestly, I don't think I could deal with a guy who shaves his legs. It feels too feminine to me. Sorry, not sorry. I'm not even into shaved chests either. Look, it's not even a fetish thing—it's just that if you're hairy, cool. If you're less hairy or not at all, also cool.
The hair isn't even the point. It's about who the guy is. If you're hairy and you feel embarrassed about it, then fine, shave. But if you aren't bothered by it, and she's basically pressuring you to do it just to please her... DON'T. 😉
Hope you aren't offended...
