Living with Pulmonary Fibrosis in Health ·
I just found out someone close to me was diagnosed with this, and honestly, I’m reeling. 😢
Since there aren't any posts here yet, does anyone actually have experience dealing with this nightmare? 🙂

It's quite interesting how they focus on people living out in the rural countryside, far away from the major cities...
There’s a real mix of characters in there, ranging from the typical small-town troublemakers with too much time on their hands to those who act as political critics...

I caught that when it aired on TV over here in the States.
Yeah, those rural types are definitely the "toughest" trolls—they've got nothing but time because they lack a social life, a job, or anything else to do. The Swedish countryside is basically a dark void where all kinds of monsters crawl out.

Sweden has nearly 300 municipalities and about 10 million people.
About 50% live in the top 30 municipalities,
which means the other 50% of the population is scattered across these tiny, empty towns.

Rachel Allen55 said:Honestly, Malmö is easily the most dangerous spot in all of Scandinavia—or at least one of the worst in the Nordic countries. Just since the start of the year, we’ve seen four murders right out on the street and several more attempted killings. Usually, the annual murder average in Sweden sits around 7 or 8, but back in 2016, Malmö alone hit 11 murders on open streets. It feels like there isn't a single week going by without someone tossing a grenade into a Malmö district.

A front page from a newspaper (pretty sure this is an older clip).

The headline reads: "Who's next on the hit list in Malmö today?"

So, who's getting murdered in Malmö today?
They aren't even asking *if* there will be killings—that's a given. They're just asking who the next victim is going to be.

The solution, if you ask me, would be for society to "educate" women to work more and spend less time hovering over their kids, while telling the men to do the exact opposite if we actually want to close that gap:

Don't "train" the men or the women—train the employers. They shouldn't be skipping anyone over for raises or promotions just because they took maternity leave.

The Hultsfred municipality is basically staring down bankruptcy, all because of the massive influx of immigrants.
Because of this overwhelming wave of newcomers, the local government was forced to freeze financial aid, meaning immigrants won't see any payouts for at least the next six months.
Hultsfred happens to be one of those municipalities that took in a disproportionately high number of immigrants.
Toward the end of last year, it turned out the reception centers were completely maxed out, so they’ve just started shutting them down to anyone new arriving.
They’ve even scrapped social benefits for immigrants in a somewhat desperate attempt to discourage people from coming. I guess they’re even sending letters to those still hoping to move there, basically telling them they aren't welcome.

Located in what used to be the idyllic region of Småland, the Hultsfred municipality has about 14,000 residents, with roughly 5,000 living in the town of Hultsfred itself.
But with this invasion of immigrants hitting an ultra-liberal area, over 2,000 have moved in, plus another 1,300 are currently staying in the Immigration Bureau reception centers within the municipality.

The staggering costs of managing these immigrant populations are starting to bleed into the care provided for Swedish retirees.
Back in 2015, it was already being reported that 225,000 Swedish retirees—the very people who built this country and created the prosperity the new generation enjoys—are actually living below the poverty line in Europe.

It’s honestly gut-wrenching. The generations born in the 20s, 30s, and 40s, who basically dragged Sweden to the top through sheer grit, are now just rotting away in nursing homes and being tossed aside.

Rachel Allen55 said:I’ve known Sweden since I was a kid—first went there on a school trip back in '81, about 35 years ago—and there’s this unwritten rule that’s always stuck: don't kick someone when they're down. In Sweden, about 9 out of 10 immigrants or refugees are at the bottom of the economic ladder. Seriously, almost everyone is living on social welfare or some other kind of assistance. Unemployment among the North American crowd is over two-thirds. That’s basically why you don't see much coverage in Sweden about foreigners, or people digging into someone's ethnic background just because they committed a crime. It's the polar opposite in Denmark and Norway. In Denmark, they go straight for the immigrant's background the second a criminal act happens.

Regarding xenophobia, maybe Swedes are a bit more low-key than the Danes, but the big difference is that Danes aren't afraid to say they hate newcomers—like folks from Eastern Europe who get lumped in with Roma stereotypes, or refugees from the Middle East who get hit with all those nasty slurs about being "unclean" or primitive.

Take what politicians have been saying in parliament lately—some of these quotes might be a little old, but they get the point across: "The SS actually behaved better on our streets than the children of immigrants," said one former Social Democrat. Then there's the Danish People's Party: "Of course [politician's name] shouldn't have said how Muslim fathers rape their own daughters when it's enough to just kill them, knowing an uncle will always step up to take the child instead." Conservatives have said, "Open borders mean we'll be flooded by primitives from other parts of Europe." The Danish People's Party also noted, "It’s disgusting to sing the EU anthem, especially at Eurovision, because so many countries participating aren't even part of that awful club." A Speaker of the House once remarked, "They're in such a lucky spot because they grew up in the free USA and hold its citizenship. Their alternative could have been staying in Ghana or some other backwater." The Progress Party went even further: "We should just pack all the Muhamedance onto planes and toss them somewhere over Africa without parachutes." Even a left-leaning liberal admitted, "I feel like an idiot having to pose for photos with ten diplomats from other EU nations." Then there's New Citizenry: "Not all Muslims are terrorists; some are pedophiles and violent criminals," and "Thanks to the European Union, we're getting labor from Hulabula-drzav." Another New Citizenry quote: "I don't feel sorry for those who drowned in the Mediterranean Sea. They could have stayed home." And the Danish People's Party added, "What kind of union or elite is this, with Romania, America, and that failed Greece? If they represent progress, then sure, let Tanzania join us too." There's a whole mountain of stuff like that. It ranges from the center all the way to the right. Every party has its own version of this. Honestly, even the centrists aren't huge fans of the European Union or international cooperation; pretty much everyone has some beef with foreigners—even some on the far left. In Denmark, just like in Sweden, foreigners are treated like second-class citizens. If you want to win an election there, your platform basically has to be either anti-European Union or anti-foreigner.

Where on earth did you get that misinformation?
Honestly, I’m about to lose it because I just found the exact opposite stats:

http://www.migrationsinfo.se/arbetsm...ysselsattning/
Check out this chart: "Employment rate based on length of stay in Sweden in 2013. In percent."
Basically, it shows the employment quotient depending on how long someone has been living in Sweden.

For non-European Union residents, the total is 66.66%
(The overall figure for all foreigners is 63.4)

I’m increasingly convinced that we should move anything regarding Sweden to the trash bin. 🤣
It is genuinely difficult to wrap your head around this level of absurdity, even if you try.
I suspect they make sure streets are cleared just as uniformly in immigrant-heavy neighborhoods as they are in predominantly white, native Swedish areas.
Imagine an immigrant—someone who just arrived from the deserts of Sudan—breaks a leg because they can't navigate the ice. That, too, would be considered discrimination.

Please tell me this website is just some Swedish "News bar." 🙂

Sadly no, truth be told, they actually rolled out that "brilliant" plan last year.
The Green Party in Sweden is basically like a toddler when it comes to their naive, clueless logic. 😵
No wonder the far right is popping up everywhere like weeds after a rainstorm.

Mark Harris66 said:Swedes just seem to be doing this to themselves—it’s like they have this intense urge to neuter their own culture. For what, though? Do they really think migrants will integrate better if everyone just rolls over and accommodates them at every turn?

Honestly, Swedes are just world-class experts at that "please don't be mad at us" kind of diplomacy. They've spent 300 years dodging conflicts just to keep the peace, basically trading away their pride and backbone in the process.

silentfalcon3 said:I’m reading through this and I honestly can't wrap my head around it. Is this actually happening?...

From the report:
Staff at an asylum center have been prohibited from holding a memorial service—essentially a Protestant version of a funeral mass—for a woman who was murdered. On top of that, social workers in Kiruna were told they aren't allowed to fly the flag at half-mast as a gesture of mourning and respect.

And there is more to it...

According to the details:
The service eventually took place at a nearby church in Kiruna, but the staff members who were on duty at the time were explicitly told by the board that they couldn't leave their posts to attend the memorial for their fallen colleague. They weren't granted permission to go.

Perhaps the narrative would be handled differently if it had been a secular event instead of a religious one...

Well, looks like I finally tracked it down myself.
It turns out this is true. It's about workers at a similar reception center in a different part of Sweden (not the actual center where she worked). That municipality banned using municipal facilities for the purpose and wouldn't let them lower the flag on government buildings.
There isn't much of an explanation other than it "violates municipal rules."

Alright, let’s stop the constant bashing for a second and actually give credit where it's due.
Take Horvat and Strlek, for example—they're basically the TWO BEST shooters in the league right now (hitting at 82% and 80%!!!).

He's at 25 in field goals (41 of 165) and a pathetic 13% from the free throw line (23 of 19!!!!)

Dear Eva, if you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm right here. 🙂 Not like I'm much to look at myself, if that's even your thing. 🙂

Besides being ugly, you probably need to be somewhat wealthy and (semi)famous to stand a chance.🤣🙂
