Now I always make sure to copy everything I write before clicking reply. That way, if I get logged out, I can just paste it back in later.

But it isn't even a true logout, because a simple refresh brings me right back to the forum and magically logs me in again. That is a very important detail.
It is as if the forum has some sort of login timeout where it momentarily forgets I am signed in, then realizes it a second later. 🙂

This happens to me too, though I haven't tried refreshing yet. It has even happened that I finish a post, try to send it, get an error saying I'm not logged in, and once I log back in, it tells me the requested thread doesn't exist and sends me straight back to the homepage. 😵

Come on, people, let's modernize a little! 😁

It is 2022, and we are almost in 2023! 😲

I wanted to post a picture here, but then I remembered that you can't just upload images directly from a computer or tablet on this forum; you have to host them somewhere else first and then copy the link over... Who actually does that in this day and age! 🙄

We are getting close to the era of space tourism, yet this forum feels stuck in the nineties! 🙂

I’ve been getting logged out constantly on my tablet lately, even with the "remember me" box checked. It usually happens right when I hit "Send" on a longer post, only to realize I've been kicked out. It is quite a hassle having to copy everything to my clipboard just in case the site logs me out, which seems to be happening almost every single time.

I suggest we consider changing the name of this Reddit community to something like snail.com or similar. 🧐 😁

If you spend even a few days posting on a more modern site and then come back here, it feels like you’ve traveled through time. 😁

Managing everything on this platform is such a hassle—uploading a video or an image is a chore. You have to do everything manually, constantly editing and deleting, using external hosting sites just to attach a single picture. There’s no direct uploading from your device, no likes, you have to wait a full minute between comments, and the search engine is totally hit-or-miss... It's frustrating! 😁

Then again, maybe there is a silver lining. 🤔 In a future war between humans and AI, outdated technology might actually be our greatest advantage, just like we learned from "Battlestar Galactica" 🧐 . Perhaps this forum will serve as our final stronghold and our only chance for survival! 🙂 😁

The latest film is truly lovely. 🙂

It’s a rare, high-quality period drama. Nowadays, most films in this genre feel overly modernized, which tends to strip away the magic.

As far as I'm concerned, they can keep making sequels as long as there's a solid concept behind them. I won't complain. 🙂

I found the film visually overwhelming. It reminded me of "Brazil" and the Japanese film "Shoplifters"—it felt bizarre and cluttered all at once. To be honest, I’ve never actually been able to finish either of those movies. Within just thirty minutes, the sheer pace and density started to feel unsettling, making it difficult to follow the plot. By the time that long kung fu fight sequence kicked in, I had simply reached my limit. I don't think I could make it through to the end... I suspect the atmosphere was intentionally crafted that way, but it just isn't for everyone. 🤷

I usually avoid watching movie trailers to prevent spoiling the experience, but in this instance, it was worth checking out.

I ended up giving up after about forty minutes. This just wasn't my cup of tea... 🕺
