My lower rating is due to:
1. That bad tea from the Kinder Egg that starts working, but then seems to lose its effect as the minutes pass.👎
2. A neglected or forgotten murder attempt in the library.😢
3. The fact that anyone with half a brain wouldn't fail to find out the name of the person they suspect of the murder.🙄

I had those exact same thoughts. Especially regarding the tea being forgotten mid-scene. Everything else can be attributed to her mental instability.

That said, looking at modern cinema, I don't really look for logic anymore. 😁

If a movie holds my attention, keeps me interested, and looks good visually—that is usually more than enough for me.🙂

It is an interesting movie with great pacing. You stay engaged wondering what happens next, and for me, the twist was quite unexpected.

I really enjoyed this film. 🙂

It’s a bit of everything—part psychological drama, part mystery, thriller, and crime, with some horror elements thrown in, though nothing too intense. It's a fast-paced watch with a twist you won't see coming. Plus, the 1960s fashion and hairstyles were absolutely stunning. 😍

I'm glad I took the time to watch it. 🙂

The dialogue is truly phenomenal. 😁

I haven't laughed this hard since I watched 😳Ad Astra🕺. 😁

I just crop the image into a square, and then the forum handles the resizing automatically. 🤷

By the way, you can view the YouTube video if you use Opera. 🙂

(If that was just a joke, it was a good one 👍)

Regarding resizing your avatar, try using this link or any similar site (just search 'online photo resizer' on Google).
@Modesty B can clarify the maximum allowed (actually possible) dimensions for avatars in both 'px x px' and 'KB'.

(I would ask her myself, but I usually get ignored here, and if I simply write 'Good morning, how are you?', I get nothing back)

I believe the forum automatically scales avatar images. Only GIFs need specific dimensions to ensure they don't end up static.

I'm using a MacBook Pro (Safari), and ever since the update, I can't get any YouTube videos to play on this forum. It's only happening here. Instead of a video, I just see a gray square where it should be. 🤔 As far as I can tell, I don't have any extensions enabled, and I've already cleared my cookies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I ran into that exact same issue, so I just switched back to Chrome.

That feature simply isn't available yet, though many of us are eagerly waiting for it. 😢 🙂

Maybe kids would enjoy the whole thing.
watching Ready Player One is much better.

Agreed...

I just finished watching the movie. 🙂

The acting and dialogue—especially during the first half—were genuinely poor. At times, it was almost comical; it felt as though the director had simply recruited random people off the street and asked them to wing it. 😁

Setting that aside, however, the film isn't bad. It held my attention throughout, and I found myself genuinely curious about where the plot was headed and how it would conclude. While there was certainly room for improvement given how interesting the core concept is, it wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared. 🙂

In any case, it's worth a watch. 🙂

I would argue that Reddit is essentially getting funded by anti-vaxxers, considering how many there are and how loud they shout.

They drive the clicks.

Everyone wins here: the anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists get the illusion that they are intelligent, that their opinions carry weight, that someone is actually listening, and that they possess some secret knowledge that makes them special or enlightened.

People just like them—along with a whole crowd of confused followers searching the internet for answers—stumble upon links to these topics, read them, and end up even more muddled and misled 😁 , yet the site benefits because all of this translates directly into traffic and revenue.

We live in a society where nonsense, triviality, and sensationalism grab attention and generate profit. That is why a "Women's corner" filled with Instagram influencers and gossip can be read by hundreds at any given moment, while a section for "Philosophy" or "Literature" considers it a success if ten people visit simultaneously.

One must be wise enough to preserve quality contributors (so the site doesn't turn into a "Twilight zone" 😁 ), while still monetizing those who "work" for free day and night, churning out the trendy controversies that drive engagement. It is a delicate balance. 😢

To answer Casey Bennett — no, I would certainly never be Anytown. 😁

It’s about time some platforms caught up with the times. 🙄

On a certain foreign subreddit I browse from time to time, some great people posted this notice:

"If your threads or posts are removed, it means they violated our community guidelines. If you disagree with the decision, feel free to go vent to the wall in your room."

And that's it. 😁

Problem solved. No endless appeals or pointless arguments needed! 😁

It’s 2021, and everyone has a smartphone with constant access to the web, so anyone looking to troll or waste time can just find their own space online. We aren't living in 1999 anymore (though looking at how some forums are designed, you might think 😁 ), where most users were decent, well-educated people. Nowadays, you never truly know who is behind a screen—it could be a kid trolling for attention or a bored retiree passing the time...

A bit more decisiveness and backbone would go a long way! 🧐

Taylor Gray5 said:It is hard to tell which is more problematic here: the acting—though it’s anyone's guess who performed worse—or the plot twist itself. 😁

Based on this, 😁 doesn't look promising, though it might be worth a watch if you find yourself with nothing else interesting on your watchlist. 🙂
