Look, there are plenty of mice out there that get the job done just fine... buying a Razer DeathAdder isn't going to suddenly make someone a pro gamer, and if you aren't rocking a massive 27-inch monitor, you don't even need that kind of resolution—it's overkill. So, is it worth the cash? Honestly—NO. Not if you're buying new. Maybe grab a used one if it’s still under warranty, but otherwise, skip it.
Check this out—it's about half the price and actually a killer mouse.

Honestly, it’s not like I don't own anything from Logitech—I've got plenty of their G series stuff lying around. But if I'm being real, I feel like I overpaid for what I actually got—not exactly thrilled with the value for the cash I dropped.
Just because you're rocking Logitech doesn't mean everyone else needs to jump on the bandwagon.
The Roccat Kon is a real mouse. Logitech is way overpriced—if you're actually dead set on getting a G9, just grab the G9x instead.
fadedcyclist13 said:hmm... yeah, I'm stumped there. I've been dying to pick up a Logitech mouse myself—honestly don't even care which version, I haven't even bothered looking up the specs yet. 🙂
Has anyone tried ordering from Amazon UK before? That mouse is sitting at about $133 over there, so I'm trying to figure out how much extra shipping is gonna bite me. It's nearly $200 if I just buy it locally.
I'm guessing shipping won't be under $10—and if you go the UPS Express route, you might get it in a week, otherwise you're looking at a month. But that'll run you another $20, so the shipping costs are pretty steep... though honestly, they aren't as bad as the sales tax the government hits you with when it clears customs. Customs fees are peanuts compared to the tax, but that's why everything gets stuck in limbo for so long... basically, you're better off just buying it here in the States—it ends up being cheaper.😂
That Kone mouse is an absolute beast. I’ve got one myself—it's killer, especially if you pair it up with a Logitech pad. As for the v1 vs v2 debate, honestly, the main thing is just build quality. People were complaining about the scroll wheel on the first version, so they fixed it, and now the v2 is basically perfect. That’s pretty much the only real difference, and besides, you can barely find the v1 anywhere in the States anymore... I saw some at Best Buy $163, but they flew off the shelves and they've only been stocking the v2 lately. I actually snagged mine in a bundle with some Logitech wired headset, and since the headset alone was retailing for $96, I walked away with the whole setup for just $203, which was a total steal. Just get the mouse—you won't regret it. 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Just grab the Samsung xl2370... honestly, it eats other monitors for breakfast—especially when you look at the static contrast compared to that Dell u2410. Plus, the damn thing is bright. And before the enthusiasts start lecturing me: yeah, I know it's a TN panel, and I know I should be looking at IPS or PVA models, but let's be real—hardly anyone can actually afford those right now...
hey man, those links you posted aren't working...
lol, man, if I wanted to feel like a total beast, I’d grab this http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/06/v...play-hands-on/
just thinking about all that Eyefinity potential :P
A buddy of mine is trying to talk me into a 26" Fujitsu just because of that 1920x1200 resolution—but honestly, who gives a damn about the diagonal when you've got color accuracy and contrast to worry about? He's rocking a Lenovo L220x himself, so take that with a grain of salt...
I wouldn't go that far if you've actually seen modern LED TVs... I'd have picked one of those over any plasma or LCD in a heartbeat...
Guess nobody gives a damn about this... 😢((
anyone gonna say anything about this? :P
Which of these two should I grab? I’ve been digging through reviews for both, and honestly, it feels like the Samsung got a higher score mostly just because of the brand name. Some people claim the backlight is better, so I’m curious what you guys actually think... I don't want to end up buying the Samsung just because of the hype if the LG is actually the better pick.🙄
