For some people, it was never an issue to head 622 miles back and forth from Coca-Cola and then straight down to Miami and stuff... whereas others can't even make it out to the local stadium if they get hit with two drops of rain...

If they actually wanted to settle things, they would have wiped out those North Side fanatics before they even stepped foot in the stadium. It was obvious back then that because of Mamić, the whole situation with the street gangs was going to end in a jail sentence, so nobody could find a "workaround"... but honestly, a massive amount of people just got screwed over by arbitrary bans. We were two steps ahead of them, but now we’re stuck on equal footing—except they’ll probably use those pathetic little choreographed displays to pull in huge crowds to the North Stand in the near future. I wouldn't even be surprised if our numbers end up smaller than theirs. The truth is, 90% of them will just be fair-weather derby fans, but who actually gives a damn about that...

A few months back, everyone was acting all high and mighty—telling everyone to stock up on tickets for the road trips to Kansas City, gear up for the big derby, and show up en masse in the stands to support the team... you know the drill. But now? Suddenly, it’s perfectly fine to start throwing flares, lighting torches, and tossing "peaceful" rocks at the very people who were just fighting tooth and nail yesterday to save football and the fans from total ruin. Look, there’s always been the brawls, the waiting games, the scuffles... that stuff is part of the deal. But honestly, after everything we’ve built together, I really thought we’d moved past the whole "sending fans to the ER" phase—specifically because of the injuries caused by those damn projectiles. It seems like the older heads actually get why this kind of nonsense is bad for us. Personally, I spend my shifts at work trying to explain to people why we fans are nothing like those lowlife mobsters running the Democratic Party, only to have them shut me down like I’m some kind of idiot.
