Glad you're happy with it. We're all satisfied, just don't push it with heavy stress tests like Furmark because your power supply is budget-tier, and despite what you say, there isn't actually any serious review out for it!
Timothy Kim60 said:Honestly, if you're looking at budget builds right now, sticking with the i3 10100f is the smartest move. You can grab one for around $150, and it’s basically just a rebranded i7 7700.

Pair that with an H410 motherboard for about $167, throw in 2x8GB RAM, and then dump whatever's left into a GPU—a used GTX 1070 for roughly $433 would be the ultimate best buy here.
I wouldn't even call this a "budget" build; it's more like the "best value gaming" setup for 2020. The emphasis is on that value.
I read through all those tips about making sure you buy a decent power supply😵😵😵 😵😵 😵:bonk :😵😵 At the end of the day, we can talk about what people should be buying all we want, but they're just going to go with whatever they feel like... I honestly wonder if any kids even bother asking questions...
I'm noticing prices for the R7 are dropping. Specifically, the AMD Ryzen 7 3800 XT just saw a 13 percent price cut over at Newegg. How does that chip actually stack up against the 5600 when it comes to gaming? It's currently sitting at about $900. With a budget of roughly $1333, I'm just wondering if it makes sense to wait for an even deeper discount on that, or if I should just pull the trigger on the 5600 instead?
I'm looking to play stuff like the new Call of Duty, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Watch Dogs.
If the Intel Core i7-10700K is priced the same, Intel is probably the better bet for pure gaming over the 3800X.

I recommended it based on the case specs, and please, don't even think about using those cheap, low-quality power supplies....don't even try it... Pick up another 12x12cm fan and mount it at the front of the case; the airflow will be much better
Edward Thompson86 said:I reached out to them today to cancel the power supply and swap it for a different one, but they already shipped the original order. I didn't expect them to process it that fast. Since I added some other items to my cart, they'll be sending a second package anyway, so I'm thinking about just grabbing a different PSU then. I'm just not sure what I'll do with this one...
Sell it. It’s a nice unit, especially with that RGB, perfect for a low-end build with a tempered glass side panel.
Dropping $500 on a GPU just to pair it with a cheap $50 power supply doesn't make much sense in the long run. If you're already buying parts from a retailer like Best Buy, you might as well spend $100 on a solid PC Power Supply so you don't have to worry about any issues down the road.
