Six feet underground, filmed right in California, but honestly, the vibe just doesn't match what I saw in the series 🤷

I've been browsing through these horror flicks lately, so I'm curious—what's your take on this?

Are we talking something along the lines of the Goonies? 🤷

Honestly, looking at this house, I’m definitely going to end up rewatching that movie after about twenty years of avoiding it!
By the way... does anyone actually know which US city they filmed the Goonies in?
It just occurred to me... back in the day, houses used to look so much more cluttered and lived-in.
Like, does anyone remember how the houses looked in E.T.?

Nowadays, everything just feels so sterile and perfectly manicured with those boring blue tones.

Does the setting actually matter to you when you're trying to get into a movie, or do you just not care?
What specific cities, houses, or random spots from films have actually stuck in your brain?
Maybe drop a picture if you can.
Do you specifically hunt for movies set in certain cities, or is the location totally irrelevant to you?

Personally, I'm all about those San Francisco vibes or gritty movies set deep in the American backcountry, like Winters Bone or Deliverance—though those types of flicks are hard to find these days.
But honestly, it drives me absolutely insane when everything is shot in New York; it’s like they just show the exact same damn streets over and over again. 🤷
Hollywood productions are fine, I guess—at least they put some effort into the production design—but I much prefer movies that explore more unique landscapes, like Into the Wild.
So, do you pay any attention to where the story takes place, or does it make zero difference to you
whether the movie was filmed in Chicago or somewhere out in Wyoming?

It was right in front of the house where they filmed The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 😁

Man, this movie is basically just
Into The Wild😁. You either absolutely love it or you straight up hate it.

If you actually liked 500 Days of Summer, then you absolutely have to check this movie out.
Basically:

It's about the romance between some unemployed guy and this actress he follows all over town.

The old guy from Six Feet Under plays a role in it, too.
The whole thing is packed with those gut-wrenching lines that I just know will hit the female audience right in the feels 😍

So, what do you guys think? Which one is the better love story
500 Days of Summer or this one?

Oh, and the soundtrack is killer 👍 and honestly, this is definitely one of those movies where I'm gonna end up crying my eyes out 😢

Someone who actually knows French better than I do, please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

You're totally right about the French part—"je vais cracher" basically translates to "I am going to spit on your grave."
That book title alone has me so incredibly worked up... I honestly won't be able to relax until I finally get my hands on it and read it. 😁

Does this have anything to do with the book I Spit on Your Grave by Boris Vian?😕

Honestly, I hated it. It felt like some cheap, watered-down version of the original Sky 🤷

The writer was completely unconvincing, and honestly, Robert De Niro’s role was way too short.
Plus, that whole relationship he has with that woman? Totally underdeveloped.
Thank god I just watched it online.

That’s all from me. 🙂

I saw it ages ago and it was seriously awesome.
The title totally slipped my mind, but I know it came out before 2004.

Anyone got a clue what movie this is????

Well, here's a list of everything he's been in, so just look below.

Are you talking about Extraordinary Measures with Harrison Ford?
