Then you've got the elder Villeneuve and the younger one—though I'm not feeling the colors on the younger guy's kit. It'd look way better if the blue was a shade darker and we just ditched the pink entirely—or maybe swapped the pink for red—but whatever.

A three-time world champ needs an iconic helmet—and Vettel just doesn't have one. It’s too late now anyway, since he didn't win those titles rocking a legendary design, just some random mashup of everything and nothing.

don't even start. Vettel is a top-tier driver and a totally legitimate three-time world champ. You don't stumble into three straight titles by accident—not even once, let alone three times in a row. And Rosberg's title wasn't luck either—it was pure consistency, smart driving, and just grinding out points. Sure, others were crashing and wrecking their cars—but Rosberg wasn't—and that's just part of the game. Or at least, it used to be. Rosberg played it safe—and he won!

But back to Vettel—if Vettel sucks, then Webber would've been a three-time champ. He wasn't. End of story.

Red Bull just can't—and shouldn't—let them mess with their branding like this. They're still the new kids on the F1 block and need to nail that constant brand presence—otherwise, they've got zero identity. And Vettel's dealing with the exact same thing. Since he's running the number 1, he needs a signature helmet design or at least a consistent pattern. What he's doing right now is just awful—like, seriously bad for his brand. Your helmet is the first thing people use to ID a driver. He needs some kind of damn icon that stays there—something synonymous with him. A finger, maybe? Just slap a stylized finger on both sides of the helmet. Fine, change the colors if you want, but at least keep the finger there every single time.

My point is, what one person considers an insult, another sees as free speech—it all depends on what you grew up with. If you were raised in a monastery or some regime that punishes free expression, this stuff looks shocking. But if you've lived in a free country like America for even a year, you see these things differently; it's actually just freedom of speech, not an insult. A real insult would be bringing up someone's mother for no reason or making crude comments about her body when she isn't even part of the conversation. That's an insult. But mentioning skin color or something slightly edgy regarding political correctness? That's just a little provocation in a good spirit. I've never said anything nasty about Hamilton—I haven't insulted his family or attacked his mental capacity. I just mentioned the shine he puts off. Hope you get it!

For example, when he "insults" Bill France (the big boss of NASCAR) by saying it would take four years of schooling to earn an "idiot's license"—tell me, is that guy a genius or an offender? Should someone like that be allowed to speak publicly or just banned? The answer is pretty obvious.

Some people are just wired to talk this way. I just wanted to say that—look at the bigger picture. If Joe uses a little colorful language once in a while, you should view it through the lens of his free expression rather than calling it an insult or whatever else.

Once, they actually asked Jochen Rindt— "What do you do, Mr. Rindt, once the Grand Prix season wraps up?" —and Rindt just shot back: "I race!" Times have changed, though. Nowadays, guys like Alonso and Vettel—total bottom-of-the-deck players (moderators, chill—calling them "bottom-of-the-deck" isn't an insult, it's just a way of saying they don't measure up to names like Rindt, Clark, or Hill in ruggedhawk20's eyes, obviously)—are probably busy hitting some spas or chilling at a ski resort. Forty or fifty years ago, their predecessors were out there actually racing. Anyway, enjoy the clips.
