When I download a torrent that’s packed in RAR, I get about ten different RAR archives plus a torrent part file and a video CD movie. I unpack those archives using WinRAR into a new folder, which just gives me one single large RAR archive containing an MDS file. So, I went a step further and unpacked that one big archive to get all the actual files inside. I tried burning them in Nero as a data disc—first as a multi-session disc, then without multi-session, then trying the MDS file itself, then the torrent part file, and even the video CD movie. Nothing works. My PS2 refuses to play any of these DVDs. Question again: Should I have just taken that one large RAR archive along with the MDS file, left them unpacked, and burned them as a data disc? Would that just result in a DVD containing a RAR and an MDS file, or would the system somehow adapt? I read online that an MDS file is basically an ISO image file. Please explain this to me like I'm five years old and have no clue what I'm doing!
Well, hmm... you clearly don't have PowerISO or Magic
if you don't, just download them from the web.
Use one of those programs to open your file and create an ISO. The software will walk you through the process. Just hit "Burn" at the end and you're done. Go play, kid.👍 👍
