Here’s a few things I managed to pull from memory.
If you need more detailed stuff, just let me know...
I'll have an answer for you in a couple of days.
Good luck.
Maybe we should rename this thread to "Movies We've Watched," just like the one we used to have on the old forum.

Here are three classics I managed to catch over the last month:
- Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf
- Aleksandr Nevsky - Truffaut
- The 400 Blows

All three were great.
Shrek vs. Monsters, Inc. vs. Ice Age in Movies ·
Here are a few more titles for you:
- Fantasia (the absolute best)
- Mulan
- Beauty and the Beast
- Princess Mononoke
- Spirited Away
- Atlantis
- Sleeping Beauty (the non-adult version😁)
- An Anime Music Video for Rammstein's Angel
I don't think the title of this thread is the best fit, but honestly, it doesn't matter much.

Usually, studios just churn out sequels if the first movie was a hit or made a killing at the box office. It’s pretty standard to expect a sequel to be a letdown since they're mostly just trying to squeeze more cash out of last year's hype.
That said, some films actually manage to keep the quality of the original intact. I'd point to The Godfather Part II as a prime example.
As for Star Wars? Every single sequel feels like an exponential slide toward zero.
Personally, I think The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and III will match the quality of the first one, simply because they were filmed all at once.
But movies like Rambo and Best of the Best aren't even worth watching—let alone discussing.

Yeah, the movie is fantastic. Honestly, we probably get it better than most people because, deep down, we’re all North American, no matter how hard we try to act otherwise.
It's totally normal for family members to constantly stick their noses into each other's business.
Besides Iranians, Greeks are hands down the biggest nationalists I've ever encountered. They have a culture that's way older than almost everyone else's, and they make sure you know it at every single opportunity. They even go out of their way to highlight the Greek origins of certain words. They even claim "kimono" is actually a Greek word.😁
Given that the production budget was only $5 million and it's already pulled in about $230 million, the film has absolutely crushed all expectations.
The lead, Nia Vardalos, is married to an actor who has a small role here, Ian Gomez, who I think is pretty well known for playing a gay character in that really popular show Felicity.
A few Greeks mentioned to me that the main heroine's accent isn't exactly authentic, but honestly, that doesn't bother us one bit, does it?
Speaking of Guy Ritchie and Snatch...😳 how many of you actually think you’d have a shot at getting an invite to a party thrown for that movie? I’m talking about mingling with Benicio del Toro, Brad Pitt, Guy Ritchie, and the rest of that crew...

This reminds me of a friend of mine, Linda, who used to tell this story about how she ended up holding onto a coat for Viggo Mortensen at some house party. I've always wondered if Viggo even remembers her.😕
