Honestly, that's just the reality of the situation, and frankly, it's nothing short of a miracle that Fernando Alonso is still sitting pretty at the top of the championship standings.

Man, Fernando hit the nail on the head when he said this crap just happens—one day it's him, the next it's someone else entirely. I'm pretty sure the championship is already out of reach though, and honestly, it sucks that Sebastian Vettel is the one who's gonna miss out. At least Felipe Massa gave us a little win to smile about, even if his decent finish doesn't actually change much for the standings, but hey, maybe it gives him that extra spark to go all out in these final races and try to help the team out, because god knows we need someone stepping up right now.
