Why wasn't it made a rule that bids have to be on the table BEFORE free practice starts? 🤔
I’m honestly suggesting we tighten up these rules. Enough with all the "if this happens" or "unless that goes sideways" or any other bullshit excuses. 🙄
The setter needs to have their bid locked in by Wednesday at midnight, and the responder has to give their answer before qualifying kicks off. Period.
What’s the absolute latest I can get an offer posted?
And honestly, if there are rules in place, they should probably be written more clearly, because if there's a specific deadline for something, then it's just common sense to actually follow it, otherwise having a deadline is completely pointless, right? 😉

It’s really not that deep. ☕
Then what's even the point of having a Tuesday midnight deadline?

So, what am I even supposed to say to this offer right now? Honestly, I'm just sitting here staring at it like, is this for real?😕🤷
Look, here’s how the whole bidding thing works, because apparently, we need to lay it all out. You can actually drop your offer as soon as the previous race wraps up, and technically, the deadline is midnight on Tuesday of the week leading up to the next race. But honestly? Don't sweat it too much if you miss that window. There aren't any actual penalties for being late, so if you end up sending your bid at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, it still counts. We aren't robots. However—and this is the big "however"—if you miss the official deadline, whatever your last standing offer was in the league stays active, and your opponent gets the right to counter that old bid. If they don't bother responding to your old one and a fresh offer pops up in the meantime, they have to deal with the new one instead. It’s pretty straightforward. Now, if you fail to send an offer during the first two rounds before there’s even a baseline established, or if you're so late that your opponent doesn't even have time to respond, then your opponent basically wins by default and gets slapped with the maximum points—that’s 3 main points and 15 secondary ones. Also, just a heads-up: if you drop a late offer and your opponent happens to be logged in or is busy posting over on Forum.hr and ignores you, you get those max points, provided you at least gave them a one-hour heads-up before the response deadline passed. Simple enough, right?

After not watching CART for so many years, these cars look like little toys now. Those rounded rear ends look just plain silly... definitely gonna take some time to get used to them...
Regardless, that onboard view of hitting the corners and being right up against the wall? Still looks terrifying. What I'm picking up is they've really improved the downforce. Drivers used to avoid dirty air at all costs, but now that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
True, and I wonder what the actual reason for that is.🤷

I read somewhere that Saša Radola needed 400,000 euros for a season in the FIA Formula 2 World Championship. Naturally, that money never materialized.
stormybadger8 said:That’s exactly why I asked. It has absolutely nothing to do with his opponents, so there's zero reason to throw any extra penalties his way.☕
Hold on a second. 😕 Did you guys see this post? Round 2 - VN Malaysia ?????😕 Look, I put the overall standings and the matchup schedule right in there for you.🙂 I already told you guys—the links to the results are right there in the first post of the thread. Just click them and you'll get exactly where you need to go.😉
Strictly by the rules—if he doesn't race in the next one, he's out. And just like that, the backup steps in to take his spot. What kind of nonsense are you even talking about? The whole Super League would basically fall apart if even one driver went missing.🙄
How could it not?🤷
Do you honestly think it’s fair that some guys are racking up points just because he isn't putting in offers, while everyone else has to actually play against someone instead of everyone having the exact same playing field?
Christian Williams61 says: 🤣 🤣 My bad, I was out for a few days and totally missed whether 😳 Pat
had posted an offer.
😬Aha
I need to chew on this and definitely make some tweaks to the rulebook. This whole situation is just plain stupid and feels wrong. Once I come up with a decent fix, I'll pitch the rule changes and we can see if they actually work.
I'm right there with you on that one.☕ I am out here working my tail off trying to pick smart pairings and types just to snag a win, while she basically cruises through without even breaking a sweat—it’s incredibly unfair.🙂
That's what I'm wondering too, especially since the Championship and Tournament game is active on the forum. If I remember the rulebook correctly, it says this kind of behavior will be looked into further.☕
I'm suggesting we just kick MAXYM out of the competition entirely and leave that spot empty, because it's just not right if we don't all have the same playing field.🙂
So, which engines are actually gonna be the heavy hitters here? Is it gonna be the Chevrolet or the Honda? I’m guessing that Judd engine from the Lotus camp is probably the weakest link in the bunch, right? How many years have we been running these specific engines now?
When it comes to the crews, Team Penske and Chip Ganassi Racing are the ones that always stick in my head, but I feel like there are plenty of other outfits out there that I just can't quite place.😁
So, I’ve got this situation where I leave my PC running and let it head into sleep mode, but then, get this, once I wake it back up, my speakers just decide to go on strike and won't make a peep until I basically reboot the whole thing.
Anyone actually know what's causing this headache? 😕🤷
