Rain's coming down hard
My big, beautiful dream? Seeing Lujo take the win, watching the Maestro grab a podium spot, and seeing Hulko pull it off while Rosberg just calls it quits on the race.

darkmarlin16, maybe you should be the one explaining it to us. ☕
What exactly needs explaining here?
Oh, I see how it is.
Honestly, I don't think there's anything left to clarify because everything is crystal clear as day.
We just don't like the Sheep, and we aren't fans of Susie either.
Albers shows up and immediately starts tearing it up at Frijns 😁

Felipe Massa totally blew it.

That way, if a driver loses control and slides off, there's no easy way to get back on the racing line. They’d essentially have to come to a near halt and crawl back onto the asphalt just to avoid ripping the nose off their car. It's a bit like when we try to drive our trucks up a steep gravel driveway and just end up spinning our wheels.
Or better yet, let's just have a rule where if all four wheels leave the track, they get an automatic disqualification. Boom. Done.🙏

What they actually need to do is cover those asphalt patches with something that'll wreck/damage the car so they can't just keep racing. Driver error should be punished—an asphalt zone doesn't punish anyone.
Honestly, the asphalt zones even end up rewarding mistakes sometimes. Just look at La Source, or how they messed up at Blanchimont, though I guess you could forgive them there since it's such an insanely fast part of the track.
We need a middle ground here.
They should put about 5 meters of gravel around the track, and then after that, they can pave it.
Basically, just surround the circuit with a minimum 5-meter ring of gravel.

Safety, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing. What is problematic, perhaps, are things like those asphalt runoff areas—we really ought to bring back the gravel traps. The same could be said for the excessive restrictions placed on car development and such matters.
I'm pretty sure it was gravel, not sand.☕
I am like 101% certain about that.

Why on earth did they let Rosberg off the hook when he totally cut the chicane and just floored it through the shortcut?

Red Bull is basically going to be Hamilton's biggest ally at this point.

When was the last time the slower driver on a team actually walked away with a world championship title?
Was it back in '96?

Honestly, I swear Blažičko still can't wrap his head around saying Daniil Kvyat or Gutierrez correctly. 🤦

Does anyone actually think Nico Rosberg is faster or better than Lewis Hamilton?
Anyone?
Seriously though, no trolling please.
The answer to this question tells you everything.
Absolutely everything.
He’s just not faster. And honestly, looking at his career up to this point and how this season is going, he isn't better either.
Maybe he’ll step it up this season, but whatever, I don't care about a champion who gets treated like a little baby by his own teammate.
So far this season, Rosberg hasn't been the better driver; the only thing worth mentioning was that one time during the 7th race where he actually managed to handle a race car that was clearly struggling.
We've seen some wow moments from Lewis this season, but since Nica, not really.

ruggedhawk20 said:darkmarlin16, I’m basically just gonna flip your words back at you here—seriously, how can you be so incredibly blind when you clearly have working eyes?! It wasn't some freak accident that caught up with Lewis Hamilton, it was just both of them hitting technical glitches at the exact same time. One guy managed to dodge it, the other didn't. Luck has absolutely zero to do with it. It’s just pure logic, man.
I don't recall Nico Rosberg having brake failure, do you? 🤷

Nico Rosberg basically just vacuumed up a massive haul of points again because of Lewis Hamilton's luckless situation. Honestly, it’s probably better for him that things went down this way instead of him actually grinding out a win, especially since Luxury ended up sitting in second.

ruggedhawk20 said:This aristocrat absolutely nailed it. Pure class. Honestly, I’m not even sweating the championship outcome for our guys. Hamilton just doesn't have the mental fortitude to outmaneuver Prost—I mean, Rosberg. Look, Hamilton is fast, like, insanely fast, but he lacks the brains. A housefly is fast too, incredibly fast, but you don't see it winning Grand Prix races, do you? You can't win a title on raw speed alone. Hamilton might end up with more wins than Rosberg by the end of the season, sure, but he won't have the points. And at the end of the day, it's the points that actually matter.
It’s gonna be hilarious watching people try to argue for Prost while refusing to admit that Rosberg is just as damn good.
Rosberg has way more luck than actual sense; the guy somehow manages to turn his own screw-ups into a freaking profit, for god's sake.🙄
That luck isn't going to last forever, though.
Comparing Prost to Rosberg is basically heresy.

Ricciardo started P6 and took the win... which totally proves that with a Red Bull you can actually win even if you start from somewhere worse than third, which is news to us all since we clearly had no idea that was even possible...
the fraud started third and finished third...
You either know or you don't. ☕

But man, there’s just something about racing in the USA; some kind of crazy shit always happens here to spice things up, and let me tell you, the actual racing is top-tier.
Plus, this is where legends really break through with those first big wins. You've got guys like Jean Alesi, Hamilton, Kubica, and Ricciardo.

Man, you're dreaming big if you think 😁
If that's actually the case, I guess I should start prepping for wins all season long, and hey, maybe we even snatch the championship if they really turn it up during the second half of the year, right? 😍
