As far as I'm concerned, Easy Rider and Last Detail are about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Or should we be getting worried that we're already three months in and people are still typing 2021?
Noah Roberts46 said:I think everyone understands that kind of mindset when it involves the citizens of Ukraine, America, or any nation that has faced aggression—of course, it makes sense in that context. But those who aren't directly involved in the fighting shouldn't adopt those views. Generalizing an entire nation—especially one as massive as Russia—as criminals won't achieve anything positive in the long run.
It's like what that guy was saying in the video that Jonathan Barnes5 posted. Obviously, things are hardest for the people in Ukraine, but if we start treating every single Russian as if they are Putin, what do we expect them to become in the long term? They will end up harboring hatred toward the West in exactly the same way. That's why I say it's a vicious cycle, and we should look at the lessons of history regarding Hitler. But hey, history has a nasty habit of repeating itself.

I mean, I don't judge kids under 14, but if you swing by on a Saturday at 11 PM, you'll see crowds of 20+ people just lining up for cheeseburgers.
They load up on all those calories, and naturally, it makes for terrible sex...

Mortality rates are actually lower than the flu!
Imagine how much worse this would be if there weren't global lockdowns in place right now...
Are we talking about that procession from last night? From what I can tell, they limited it to 17 people and everyone kept a decent distance from one another.
The real issue is that nobody seems to grasp what these gathering guidelines actually mean—not even the Police or the CDC. A friend sent me a photo from a park in Berlin, and honestly, it looks just as packed as Central Park on a Sunday afternoon.
The police showed up and checked to see if the groups on the blankets were from the same household; if they were, everything was fine. Everyone was spread out several feet apart across the parks on their blankets. No one was making a scene about it, so it’s pretty straightforward: if you're outside, just stick with your household and keep your distance from others. As simple as that.
Back home, it's like two trenches facing off where everyone's just attacking each other without any compromise. You've got people who don't get that hanging out with friends isn't okay, and then you've got the Police who don't seem to realize that socializing at a distance is perfectly fine.
The procession itself isn't the problem, provided everyone follows the rules. Just maintain distance and keep the group size small.

Look, if that's actually happening, and it seems more and more certain, why wait? Why not start tomorrow? Or Sunday? It's four days until Wednesday. By then, we'll probably have another 500 or 600 infections.
Personally, I'm all for isolating the elderly and those with health issues while letting everyone else live normally. If that won't work—and it clearly won't—then we need a total lockdown, not this half-measure we're dealing with now. This current setup is nothing.
And by the way, now that people in the city are heading out to their weekend homes, there could be quite a few cases popping up in the suburbs. I hope that doesn't happen, but I wouldn't be surprised.
