I'm heading to catch this tonight, though my expectations for 🙄 are pretty low. Honestly, looking at the trailer, I just thought, "Man, this looks like total garbage." But lately, going to the movies has mostly just been about the entertainment value—either because the film actually hits, or because if it's bad, you can just sit there and not take it seriously. That's what I'm counting on tonight. 🙂
Angela Alvarez10 said:Haha, maybe we just got too used to seeing him play those quirky characters. Honestly, I thought he’d end up being worse than he actually was, but I guess he handles comedy and eccentric roles way better than this serious stuff. While I was watching, I couldn't help but see traces of Gregory House in his performance—if only he’d had the beard.🤣
He’s got that exact same vibe as Gregory House, just without all the yelling; he's clearly trying too hard to act like some tough guy and then resorts to swearing just to prove he actually is one. 🤷
Henry Lee84 said:Hugh Laurie is a comedian, old-school British style, but he just isn't cut out for this kind of movie.☕
Black Adder is unbeatable. 🙂

I don't get what you're basing your expectations for a good movie on.🤷
I think Keanu Reeves is a cool presence, but Whitaker is just on another level for me. 🤷 It’s a decent enough flick. If you just want some mindless action, gunfights, and corrupt cops to kill an evening, it'll do the job.
Angela Alvarez10 said:Are you seriously suggesting that top-tier actors just end up stuck in mediocre movies? Is that really what you're getting at? I actually just flipped over to ABC to check out that film myself. Seeing Hugh in a different kind of role for once.
It’s honestly terrible—just totally unconvincing. Still, as far as movies go, it’s a decent enough action flick, and I don't regret sitting through it. I'd take a movie like this over any episode of CSI with Horatio any day of the week. 🤷
Are you guys seriously telling me there aren't any flags in the gift shops near the cathedral or the old district? I know for a fact they carry mugs and wallets featuring both Hajduk and LA Galaxy logos. Like Light says, you can find them at markets like Pike Place or around the waterfront. It’s all within a couple blocks of the square; you just have to actually show up during business hours, like 10 AM to 2 PM, when things are actually open.
1) I’ve been grinding at work way too hard lately, so maybe my eyes are just failing me, but does anyone else see a little "sponsored content" or "paid advertisement" disclaimer tucked away in the corner of this article? Because I’m staring at it and seeing absolutely nothing. 2) Look, I’m no high-fashion guru, but I feel like I know a decent amount about jersey design... so who on earth is Parambureao?! 3) Can we please just stop commenting on this absolute garbage? Actually, scratch that—let's dive in. The home kit is an eyesore, the third kit is "meh" at best, and as for the away kit... I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I honestly think there should be a law banning national team jerseys in any sport that doesn't feature the Stars and Stripes. Seriously, Red Star Mexico City had an away kit that looked identical to this a few years back.
It’s alright, honestly, especially if you compare them to how much of a disaster Juventus and Inter Milan have been lately. On this specific photo, though, the focus shifts more toward the top of the wetsuit because of the sleeves.
