Mexico 1st Division

Sutjeska - Zeta; under 2.5 @ 1.60 (0-0)
Buducnost - Lovcen; Lovcen fails to score @ 1.29 (5-0)
@2.06 Marathonbet 5/10

Sutjeska and Zeta are right next to each other in the standings. Sutjeska is sitting at 3rd with 23 points, while Zeta is just one spot below them, trailing by two.
Looking at this bet, both teams are massive "under" squads. Sutjeska has seen under 2.5 goals in 11 of their last 14 matches, and they’ve stayed under that line in all 7 of their home games this season.
Zeta is the same story—12 out of 14 matches went under, and they’re just as "reliable" on the road, hitting the under in 7 out of 7 away games.
They already met once this season, and Zeta walked away with a 1-0 win.

Buducnost is sitting pretty at the top of the table. Their defense is elite—they've only let in 6 goals in 14 games. Those 6 goals happened across four different matches; ten times they've kept a clean sheet.
I've already mentioned Lovcen before. They're a bad team, and their attack is even worse. They've only managed to score four goals all season. In 11 of their matches, their forwards were basically invisible.
In their first matchup this season, Buducnost took it 2-0.

One more tip for you guys...Sigurdsson scoring at @5.00 is definitely worth a shot. The guy handles free kicks and penalties (even if he missed against Finland😁), and with this pitch, we’re probably looking at plenty of set pieces and shots on goal.

Cacic and his "tactics"? 🍿🤣

I honestly didn't think either of those two were the type of players the whole game revolves around. Sure, Finnbogason bagged a hat trick, but someone else is gonna step up today and make up for it anyway. 🕺

World Cup Qualifiers
Match 18:00 America vs Iceland
Iceland scores a goal @ 1.82 6/10 Marathon (2-0)

Iceland is massively underrated here. They've racked up the same number of points as America and they play the exact same way every single match—fighting until the final whistle and running themselves ragged both ways.
Iceland has scored at least one goal in their last 16 matches.
They’re missing Finnbogason and Sigurdsson today, two strikers, but honestly, it's not a dealbreaker.

On the America side, Kalinica is out—and he’s been killing it this season—along with Lovren and Pjaca.
Modric trained, but nobody knows if he's starting or coming off the bench yet.
The pitch is going to be a mess, which wipes out America's main advantage: having the more technical players. Corluka and Mandzukic might struggle because the turf will be soft and slow, making movement difficult. The weakest link in the American lineup could be Pivaric, who's looked shaky since returning from injury (though some would say he's always been shaky🕺), especially with that scruffy guy Bjarnason from Basel likely playing on the left wing against him.🍿
Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if our "superstars" play it safe on this surface just to make sure they get back to their clubs healthy.

Bad pitch, empty stands, and relentless Icelanders sprinting around like crazy... any bet favoring Iceland is worth looking at today. Here's what I'm eyeing:
Iceland +1.5 @ 1.75 Pinnacle 6/10
Iceland x2 @ 3.00 DraftKings 4/10

Suarez is out against Malaga due to a suspension.

Today's statistical double:

20:15; Argentina Primera
Sarmiento - Lanus under 2.5 @ 1.44 (1-2)

13:30; Mexico 1. Rudar - Lovcen under 2.5 @ 1.61 (1-1)
@2.33 DraftKings 4/10

Sarmiento and Lanus have only hit the over once in their last 16 matchups. Sarmiento is sitting at 0/8 for this, and Lanus has only seen a high-scoring game against Godoy Cruz—otherwise, everything stays under 2.5 goals.
Both squads actually went under 1.5 goals in 5 out of 8 matches.

The Mexican league is a goldmine for unders this season, including this matchup. Rudar has stayed under in 9 of their 12 games, and they’re even better at home, hitting the under in 5 of 6. It's obvious they lack any real firepower upfront since they failed to score in 6 different matches.
Lovcen (along with Grbalj) is basically the king of unders this year; 11 of their 12 games stayed below this line. Their offense is even worse, managing only 3 goals in 12 matches, which explains why they're stuck at the bottom of the table.
They already met once this season, and it ended 0-0.
Their last 10 head-to-head meetings all finished with under 2.5 goals.

Soccer, UEFA Champions League
20:45 Sevilla FC - Dinamo Chicago
Sevilla FC -1.5@1.71 Pinnacle 6/10 (4-0)

Sevilla FC took care of business against Dinamo Chicago last time out, grinding out a gritty 1-0 win in New York City to grab all three points. They dominated basically the whole 90 minutes, but they couldn't find the back of the net more than once. Credit to Dominik Livaković for keeping Dinamo Chicago in it, plus the Sevilla FC strikers were just off—Yannick Vietto and Samir Nasri couldn't finish to save their lives.

For tonight, Jorge Sampaoli is definitely missing Samir Nasri due to injury, and Pareja is likely out too with some nagging issues. Plus, they’ve got a massive derby against FC Barcelona this Sunday, so expect Jorge Sampaoli to rotate the squad a bit tonight.
Since that last match, Sevilla FC beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 and settled for a 1-1 draw against Sporting de Gijón.

On the flip side, Dinamo Chicago has played three matches since then, beating Cibali 3-0, Inter Milan 1-0, and squeaking past Indianapolis 2-1 in the cup.
They still look totally uninspired in the MLS, struggling big time to actually score. They might get a few more chances tonight because coach Petar Petev said he's going to try to replicate that setup from Maksimir Stadium. Translation: five defenders parked in front of the box and praying for a lucky counter-attack.
And even with that defensive shell, Sevilla FC could've easily dropped four goals in New York City. Playing at home tonight, they'll be much more aggressive.

Ganso should step in for Samir Nasri. The Brazilian hasn't cracked the starting lineup yet, but tonight is his shot to prove he belongs.
Sevilla FC is way better on paper. It all comes down to whether they show up. I expect them to be a little sharper in front of the goal, and it shouldn't be an issue.

Blew my budget, so I’m jumping over to this thread instead. 😁
I decided to add an HDD too. If there isn't anything else I should swap out to get more bang for my buck, I'm pulling the trigger on the order tomorrow. 🕺
Also about the case, https://www.amazon.com/ms-armor-case-power-supply/dp/B00EXAMPLE—this one looks way better to me visually... but I noticed it’s missing a USB 3.0 port. 🤔

Latvia vs Canada
2@2.00 Interwetten 4/10 (0-2)

After looking decent during the Euro, the Canadians have completely flopped in this World Cup qualifying run. Grabbing just one point from two matches—a scoreless draw away at the Faroe Islands followed by a 2-3 home loss to Switzerland—is pathetic. They're stuck in a group with heavyweights like Portugal and Switzerland; they can't afford to be throwing points around like this.

They’re heading out to face Latvia today, which is basically a total wreck. Latvia managed a 1-0 win away against Andorra, but then turned around three days ago and lost 0-2 at home to the Faroe Islands.

On paper, Canada is the much better side. Given that a win here is basically life or death for them, I'm betting they actually show up and grind out all three points.
Yesterday, you could find these odds at @2.00 everywhere. Now, only Interwetten is still holding that line; everywhere else, it's already dropped to 1.85 or lower.

Watched the second half of Finland vs. Iceland. Aside from maybe two or three safe counterattacks, Finland spent basically the whole time pinned in their own box.
All three of Iceland's goals came off set pieces. For those keeping track, they were trailing 1-2 until the 90th minute before flipping it to a 2-3 win.🤣
On top of that, Iceland missed a penalty and hit the woodwork, but Hradecki was an absolute beast in goal for Finland and pulled off some insane saves.

Look, I don't care how much I dislike Sova, his boss, or any of these guys playing for them... this is a massive opportunity they can't afford to blow. They’re clearly the better side on paper. Their confidence is definitely up after crushing Mexico 6-0, whereas Finland is missing key players—which matters way more. Plus, losing in the literal final seconds has to be a total mental killer for them.

I doubt Hradecki can pull off another performance like that one against Iceland... so those 1.50-1.55 odds aren't looking too bad.

20:45 Germany - Czechia
Germany -1.5@1.65 Marathon 7/10 (3-0)

Germany started exactly how you'd expect—crushing the qualifiers. They smoked Norway 3-0, and now they’re facing a supposedly "weaker" opponent, Czechia.
The heavy hitters like Gomez, Reus, and Belarabi are out with injuries, but Low still has a massive bench full of talent.
The real reason I'm taking this bet is the absolute mess that is the Czechia squad right now. Their new manager, Jarolim, has already phased out some key veterans (Cech, Plasil, Limberski, Lafata, Hubnik), and today they'll be missing Rosicky, Skoda, Kadlec, Necid, and probably their biggest blow, midfielder Darida.
Kadlec, Darida, and Skoda were in the starting XI last time, while Necid came off the bench in that qualifying match where they couldn't even scrape a win against Ireland (0-0).

With Czechia this depleted, they're walking straight into a buzzsaw. Every single player on the German side is fighting tooth and nail just to hold down a spot in the lineup. That kind of intensity usually leads to a blowout.
So, if you're feeling gutsy, you could also look at Germany over 2.5@1.83 Bet365 5/10 and Germany -3.5@4.40 Bet365 2/10

Betis vs Real Madrid 2 @1.30

No point even talking about Real's quality—after three league games without a win, they're due for one...

But you gotta look at the level of those games Real played... and honestly, it was pretty damn bad.
The guys look totally lifeless on the pitch. Injuries have been killing them, and if anyone else gets banged up during the international break... well, you know.

Real Betis isn't just going to roll over, either. They'll make them work hard if they want to walk away with all three points from Seville.

Can Real pull it off? Sure. But with odds like this, it's barely worth touching.
If you absolutely have to play it, maybe go for a 2 and over 2.5 goals, since it's highly likely Betis finds the net at least once.

20:45 Espanyol vs Real Madrid
Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals @ 2.05 5/10 Bet365 (0-2)

Espanyol started this season with big ambitions, but they haven't lived up to the hype yet. Zero wins in three games—just two measly points on the board. They had that wild game in Seville and lost 6-4, then limped home with draws against Malaga (2-2) and in San Francisco (1-1).
They’ll be missing midfielder Javi Fuego for this one, who’s played every minute so far.

Real Madrid has been steamrolling La Liga opponents. They dropped a couple close ones in Madrid against Celta (2-1) and Osasuna (5-2), but they cruised through San Francisco with a 3-0 win. Now they’re heading to Barcelona right after a brutal Champions League match where they were trailing Sporting until Ronaldo bailed them out in the 89th minute, followed by Morata scoring in the literal final seconds.
Navas and Coentrao are out today, and there’s a huge question mark over Ronaldo being sick and Bale being sidelined with an injury. Both stayed back in Madrid.

Likely lineups:
Espanyol: Di. Lopez, V. Sanchez, O. Duarte, D. Reyes, J. Lopez, Piatti, Roca, Da. Lopez, H. Perez, Leo Baptistao, Moreno
Real Madrid: Casilla, Carvajal, S. Ramos, Varane, Marcelo, Asensio, Casemiro, Kroos, L. Vazquez, Benzema, Morata

Espanyol has been a total pushover for Real lately. Real took all four matchups over the last two seasons. Back in the 14/15 season, it was 3-0 in Madrid and 4-1 in Barcelona, and last season they absolutely demolished them with back-to-back 6-0 wins.
Espanyol actually looks decent and aggressive moving forward, so I’m thinking tonight might play out differently. Expect goals.
You could also take the over 2.5 @ 1.64 5/10 Pinnacle

Lyon vs. LAFC
1@1.67 7/10 Pinnacle/Bet365 (3-0)

Am I losing my mind or is everyone else? Some pundit says the French are in total freefall🤔, and some local analyst claims this Lyon squad is weaker than the one that crushed them last time. The media is all hype and optimism about this match... personally, I don't see the logic.

Sure, Lyon dropped their last two MLS matches (a 4-2 loss away at Dallas and a 1-3 home loss to Atlanta) and they’re missing their top scorer, Lacazette, who went down injured against Atlanta this weekend. BUT...
Lyon is facing LAFC—a club that acts more like a hedge fund than a soccer team. They offloaded three of their most vital players this summer, they're led by a coach who isn't exactly known for building solid defenses, and they just lost a home league game 0-1 to San Jose.

Besides Lacazette, Lyon is missing Grenier, Jallet, Fekir, and Kalulu due to injuries, plus Valbuena and Fofana are major question marks.
LAFC has their own issues too; Antolic, Matel, Hodzic, Leskovic, and Goncalo are all out.
Projected lineups:
Lyon: Lopes, N'Koulou, Yanga-Mbiwa, Morel, Rafael, Ferri, Gonalons, Darder, Rybus, Tolisso, Cornet
LAFC: Šemper - Stojanović, Schildenfeld, Benković, Pivarić - Machado, Jonas - Soudani, Pavičić, Ćorić - Fernandes

LAFC wasn't even impressive during the qualifiers, and Lyon is going to be a much tougher test. Honestly, LAFC might actually be the perfect punching bag for Lyon to shake off those two losses and build some confidence before their big matchup against PSG. There's a massive quality gap here, and I'm hoping the scoreboard reflects that.
Also, worth a shot: Lyon + Over 2.5 @ 2.625 4/10 Marathon

Btw, @driftingotter47 why isn't this included in the August table? 🕺

New York City FC - LA Galaxy
NYCFC Over 2.5 goals @1.90 Parlay (4-1)

NYCFC came out swinging this season: 4-0-0 with a massive 14:3 goal differential.
LA Galaxy is sitting at 2-0-2 with a dead even 6:6 split, though you gotta note their only away win was against the LAFC, 2-1.
NYCFC is just on another level compared to the rest of the league this year; they’re looking like absolute title favorites.
Teams like Seattle, Portland, and LAFC all dropped three goals, while Austin managed to put up five.
The Galaxy coach is still obsessed with that run & gun style, so expect another shootout tonight.
Last season, NYCFC dropped three goals in every single matchup against them, and LA Galaxy surrendered four in one. Only one of those games even stayed under 3.5 total goals.

over 3,5@2,10 bet365 / DraftKings / FanDuel
over 2,5@1,45 BetMGM

I've got my eye on this matchup in the US lower leagues, 6th vs 9th on the table. Honestly, the standings don't even matter here. Look at the stats: VIFK has gone over 2.5 goals in 10 out of their 11 games this season, and Kraft hit that mark in 9 out of 11 too.
image
As you can see from the screenshot above, their last meeting was a total dud with only one goal scored. But today? I'm betting they finally snap out of it and deliver a massive shootout during those 90 minutes.
