Zachary Turner6 said:Oh, sure. But let's think about the timing here—AFTER they’ve already figured out exactly who he is and just how much leverage he actually holds? It makes zero sense to suddenly stick him in a cell with a camera pointed at him and a guard breathing down his neck, especially given everything we discussed earlier.

Gle, in the real world, there is zero chance someone just digs a tunnel from a prison cell. If you even suggested that to anyone, they’d look at you like you’ve lost your mind. In 999,999 out of 1,000,000 cases, that’s going to be an accomplice on the outside.

Clyde didn't kill the guy in prison until after the lawyer incident. Actually, they didn't even suspect he'd kill the attorney; they probably thought he'd just be found dead naturally. He used the lawyer situation as an excuse to get moved to solitary confinement (he wasn't planning to kill him then; if he had, he would have set the clock much earlier than 3 PM). There was no reason for him to be in isolation before that.😉

Look, they were late with his meal, and he was busy making sure the lawyer ended up buried. In the meantime, he was eating and sharing food with his cellmate.
While they were busy hunting down the lawyer, he took the guy out with a bone.

A pen that snaps has a casing. This didn't specify.

And that lethal cellphone actually functioned as a phone.

Then maybe stop watching modern Hollywood movies.

And it wasn't a dungeon; it was solitary confinement.

It wasn't the phone doing the shooting. The phone contained a tiny explosive charge specifically designed to detonate when a certain number called it.

Zachary Turner6 said:Yeah, I agree. Though, frankly, what he actually used isn't even the main point.
He could have killed him with his bare hands by snapping his neck or something similar (he was likely prepared for that kind of thing anyway). That would still achieve one of his goals: getting sent to solitary confinement without technically committing a murder with an object provided by the prosecutor or the warden. Of course, it still counts as a murder committed while he was supposed to be under strict supervision—though why he wasn't is anyone's guess.

What I find absolutely mind-blowing, though, is how he—the most dangerous criminal in the entire prison—didn't have a camera inside or even around his cell. For heaven's sake, we have more surveillance in local police station holding cells during a 48-hour detainment than they had in a high-security facility.

At that stage, he wasn't the most dangerous man alive yet; he hadn't started his killing spree on the outside. It was only after they botched that meal, and while they were busy trying to save that lawyer, that he killed the guy. That's why they moved him to the SHU, and those units are supposed to be 100% secure. The fact that he pulled this off is frankly ridiculous.

Anger Management is an excellent movie in my book too, though not necessarily because of him.

It stands out as one of the finest pieces of cinema I’ve encountered in the last two years—the narrative, the direction, the acting—it all fits together with remarkable precision. There isn't a single dull moment, and the character development is top-tier.
9/10
It is an absolute must-watch.

Clearly, those kinds of studios exist solely to cater to people like you.😁

Honestly, I found Zoolander to be such a mindless movie. It’s actually one of the only two films I couldn't even sit through until the end.

Exactly. Joker is ten times better than Clyde 🙂
He actually achieves his objective, unlike Clyde. When Clyde claimed he was going to dismantle the entire system, I genuinely thought that was where the story was headed. Instead, he just starts killing random people. I was expecting some brilliant narrative progression, but what I got was just a plot device to show how Clyde pulled it all off. Honestly, the Saw movies are three times more genius than this.

I find it completely unrealistic that anyone could dig out those massive tunnels right next to a prison.

Is that all? 🙂

And what about Chester—that blond kid? The guy is literally sending emails to his girlfriend after she’s already dead. Just... lol.

Furthermore, a bomb powerful enough to wipe out everyone on two floors of a building like that wouldn't leave the prison itself untouched. Fox News should be calling them out for that level of negligence.

I agree he killed the guy with the bone. How did he know he'd get the bone? Because he ordered food from one specific restaurant. He set the whole thing up.

I believe that email was sent before she died, but while she wasn't home.

Besides, that bomb was Napalm; they made that point explicitly. Napalm won't do much to stone (which most prisons are built from), but it'll tear through wood and people without a second thought.

That guy was shooting at the police from the roof because that's exactly what he was doing, idiot. It's a standard move. Plus, he thought they were coming for him and apparently decided he wasn't going to surrender alive. And as far as I know, he didn't run out of ammo. He grabbed a second pistol in the car. And he used it to make threats.

While I was watching this unfold, I honestly thought we were looking at a future cult classic—something on par with "when the lamb falls silent." But man, that ending completely tanked it. They had all this potential for sharp social commentary, only to pivot at the last second into a generic story about stopping a "terrorist." They didn't explicitly use the word, but let’s be real: it was staring us right in the face. And of course, because it's Hollywood, it had to wrap up with a massive explosion... 😢

Linda Brown24 said:I'm gonna steal a little bandwidth here just to vent some frustration about this movie...

First off: I've been waiting for this flick for at least half a year, maybe longer, because I’m big into modern Korean culture and I absolutely love Rain. I've heard so much about this movie that I feel like I know everything about it already—from what's happening in front of the lens to everything behind the scenes. And now... the release date is set for November 25th somewhere in the world, maybe a little earlier or later. But here in the States? Either I'm searching wrong, or this isn't even hitting our theaters. What the hell? It sucks. It’s pathetic how random Greek weddings or Twilight sequels get released in our theaters at the exact same second as everywhere else. It's so frustrating.
Dammit, you don't watch a movie like this on a computer or a TV; you need that massive screen in a theater. There aren't enough decent action movies lately, and a John Wick would have filled that action slot perfectly haha

Enivays, it honestly makes me so mad I could just jump in a car and drive straight to Canada just to catch it in a cinema. If only I actually had a car. FML.

Seriously, we need to find someone with a car to drive a few of us over to Canada. 😁
We can split the low cost.

The reviews don't actually sound that bad, even if the guy gave it a 5/10. He didn't mention anything about terrible acting or massive plot holes. Everything else regarding the action seems solid and perfectly fine. We are definitely watching this, which means 🙂

I tried watching this at home, but I couldn't make it past the one-hour mark. The movie was boring to the point of physical pain.

Some people just don't care for superhero movies. Everyone has their own taste.

We'll just have to wait and see which one comes out on top. Sure, Star Trek has that massive budget, but at the end of the day, I think The Man from Earth is the superior film 🙂

It’s a strange one, truly bizarre. I wasn't exactly blown away by it. In fact, I drifted off halfway through and had to finish the second half the following day.

The movie is entertaining, and frankly, that’s about the best praise I can offer. 🙂

Let’s be honest: all these battles against non-Saiyan opponents are just plain stupid. Every single one of Goku's enemies just shows up out of nowhere, already maxed out. There is zero backstory, zero buildup. While we get a front-row seat to how Goku achieves his new power levels, everyone else is just handed theirs. The internal logic of this universe is completely broken.

And don't even get me started on those ridiculous dragons in GT. Those Dragonballs were basically created by a bunch of idiots, considering Goku bypassed their entire power scale the moment he became a Super Saiyan. He spent all that time learning how to multiply his strength by 2x, 3x, or 4x, and then suddenly, the dragons from those balls are supposedly strong enough to rival him?
Give me a break.
Every fight after the Super Saiyan era feels like the work of some hyper-obsessed geek author who probably hasn't spoken to a woman in his entire life.
