There's nothing actually "underground" about it—you just have a bunch of amateurs who can't play a note, some bands that broke up years ago, and others who simply lack any real skill because they don't even use real instruments; instead, they rely on those cheap fake battery-powered gadgets. At this rate, music is honestly going to go extinct 🙂
Personally, I consider their "Ping Pong" one of the best domestic albums out there—truly top-tier—but honestly? I’d be perfectly content if I never had to hear a single track from this new record. It's not that I'm uninterested, per se, it's more that I simply don't want to waste my precious time, my ears, or my mental energy on it. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?! 😠🙂🙂
It’s honestly such a blast when you can just relax and have a few drinks... 🙂 🙂 🙂
But wait a second—I’m an atheist... 🤔 Is it even okay for me to celebrate this stuff, considering I don't actually believe in God? Take Christmas, for example—it’s become this massive, over-commercialized headache that really gets on my nerves... though, I have to admit, I still love decorating the tree and picking out gifts... 🙂 🙂 🙂
Look, I’ll admit it—I’m such a snob that I honestly think 99.9% of today's movies are total garbage. It feels like ages since I’ve sat down for a genuinely high-quality new release, so lately, I’ve just been retreating into the classics—spending my time revisiting those old-school British mystery and horror films from the 40s and 50s. Call me a snob if you want, but that's just how I roll. 🙏
The real question here—and I mean this sincerely—is just how old she actually is, who took the photo, and whether we're looking at a genuine original or something else entirely.
Chris Gonzalez6 said:You’re asking how broad my definition of "music" actually is—well, I mean music in its entirety, covering pretty much every genre out there. And here's another thing: does it feel like people are losing sight of the fact that making music used to require actual grit, sweat, and time? It wasn't like today, where you can just copy-paste a drum sample eighty times and call it a song.
Go ahead and make something, man—then send it my way so I can give it a listen! 🙏
Honestly, what are you guys even talking about? Music isn't dying—it’s thriving. 🙄
Right now, there are more bands out there and more diverse musical genres than at any other point in history. We’re seeing more albums being recorded today than ever before—and that number just keeps climbing. Music isn't going extinct; maybe bananas are, but not music. 😢
After reading through this thread, I finally decided to give this movie a shot. I just really hope I don't end up regretting it—because, let's be honest, that A Scanner Darkly flick was an absolute slog; honestly, it was almost unwatchable how exhausting it was.
Well, okay—that’s mostly on R. D. Jr., who, in my opinion, should probably be exiled to a deserted island with Terrence Howard just so they can settle things once and for all.

I mean, what even is "special effects" at this point? You’re sitting there watching a movie starring Keir Knightly and you think she’s actually reacting, making those intense facial expressions, or physically struggling—but in reality, it’s all just CGI. She's basically just standing there looking vacant while the tech does all the heavy lifting. 😳
