No, honestly, it doesn't look nearly as gruesome as I imagined when I first read about it. Just focus on getting better quickly, okay? Please don't go causing any more trouble at the hospital.
🙂 I have zero willpower 🙂 Everyone keeps talking about how they're quitting, and then my coworker actually goes and does it. He hasn't touched a cigarette in 10 days, while I'm still just sitting here talking about it. God, I'm such an unstable, spineless loser...
Apparently, there are tons of people getting sick even after being vaccinated. They’re claiming the virus just mutated "along the way," making the shot pretty much useless. chicken soup🙏
It probably depends on where you live or what the weather is doing. Lately, we've been dealing with massive swings in air pressure, temperature, wind, and I don't even know what else, but plenty of people are complaining about the exact same symptoms you mentioned. I get what you mean about the vision stuff because I'm going through it too. I honestly have no clue how to fix it. It’s weird—I can barely read the fine print in a newspaper, even though my eyesight is supposedly good and I don't even wear glasses.
A while back, I was traveling through Germany with a woman who works as a caregiver in a nursing home there. She told me that the elderly ladies regularly drink their own urine in the mornings and even use it to wash up—and apparently, the results are pretty obvious. According to her, all the residents who start this "therapy" seem to become much more vital and their complexions improve after just a short time. I asked if she had ever tried it herself, but she said no; she’s too squeamish. Honestly, I am too. Has anyone here actually tried this?
Honestly, thank goodness those condescending types aren't chiming in here with their "it's all about willpower" or whatever bullshit lecture they want to give. A coworker of mine mentioned she just decided she was done, so she stopped. She was only smoking maybe three or four ultra-lights a day anyway. What we actually need is some real support and practical advice, not a sermon.
I’ve been smoking for over 20 years now. Currently, I'm at about a pack and a half a day. In those two decades, there hasn't been a single day where I didn't light up—doesn't matter if I had the flu, surgery, or just a tooth pulled... I never even considered quitting. But lately? Yeah, I've been thinking about it. I want to, but maybe I just have a weak character because it stays stuck in my head and nothing happens. I guess I'm joining this club so we can actually try to do something, right?
I can relate, unfortunately. I went through all of that—my father's alcoholism, the constant harassment, the fighting... just this overwhelming sense of loneliness, fear, and shame. It leaves a mark. You lose your confidence, you stop trusting people, and you start getting a little paranoid. I tried to deal with it by following some advice from my former boss. When I first started working, he noticed something was off. It was the first time I actually opened up to someone, and he told me straight: this is about your parents, their marriage, and the life they lived. He said, "You need to get out, distance yourself, and save yourself." So, I did. I moved away, though that doesn't mean I've magically fixed everything. I still struggle with what happened, but being independent helped me stay busy with other things. My father passed away 13 years ago now, but even then, thinking back on my childhood and my youth... it still brings up this anger and sadness. Still, there is so much good waiting for you in this life that it's worth the fight. Seek help without feeling any shame at all. You aren't to blame for any of this, and please, don't bottle it all up. Talk openly with your friends because, trust me, everyone is dealing with their own issues, whether they show it or not. I really want you to find true happiness. 👍
I’m dealing with the exact same thing. My rheumatologist actually told me it isn't even classified as a full-blown disease, just some kind of syndrome—I can't recall the specific name, though. Apparently, the only fix is keeping my hands warm, like using gloves or soaking them in lukewarm water. He said it's never going to go away.
Ugh. I’ve got these two bumps popping up on the inside of my eyelid. They itch like crazy and it's making it impossible to focus at work. Does anyone actually know what this is or how to fix it? Maybe it's from my birds? I have five of them.
Maybe you should try the Palmolive raspberry soap. It’s really the only one that works for me, since my skin is incredibly dry and I deal with itching all the time.
I’ve been dealing with muscle spasms and constant aches for maybe 3 or 4 years now. I’ve tried just about everything under the sun, but nothing seems to actually work. A while back, I used to pick up this specific bath soak infused with essential oils—it was honestly incredible—but I can't find it anywhere anymore.
