Annual Lists in Music ·
No clue! 🙂

🙂

What else? I need at least 12 albums on this list, one for every month. 😁 Actually, wait, Nick counts as two.

Can't wait for the new album in 2005! 🙂😁

Forgot to mention Killerse too...😵

Somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looks like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It's not confidential
I've got potential
A rushin', a rushin' around

*facepalm* 🙂 😁

N/A - 🙂 😁

Sam Gonzalez67 said:Chase wants you to keep $567 just to survive... like some kind of bare minimum existence... basically saying you can take out a loan where the monthly payment hits $100...

Yeah, no kidding... that’s brutal. How am I supposed to even function on $0.57 a month? My rent alone in Chicago is $1,500...🙄

average net pay over the last three months: $667

Whoa. 😲 This could be a real issue for you. If you went to Chase for a mortgage up to 35k, your monthly payment on a 10-year term would hit about $125, which is roughly $287 about 43% of your paycheck..

Of course it is! 😁

Song of the week: Cowboy 😁

[I mean, it’s kind of a snooze fest 🙄], but it's the album of the week since I finally got around to spinning it and won't be touching it again anytime soon.

Song of the week: Cowboy Junkies ~ My Wild Child (from the album One Soul now, 2004) - 🙏 👍
Song of the Week in Music ·
My album of the week is hands down: Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - "Damage". Absolute genius. 😁 🙏 .

Song of the week: Mars, Arizona. 😎

Looking ahead to next week, starting today at 6:30, I’m calling it now—the top album is likely gonna be: Delgados: "Universal audio". 😎 😁

northernfalcon30 said:Hey, can you give me the lowdown on those H&M jeans? What kind of styles are we talking about?

They’ve got everything—bootcut, skinny, slim, baggy (I actually own a pair of the extra flared 🙏 😁 ones), classic fits like those Levi’s 501s, they even have that carrot-cut look 😁 😁 😁. Honestly, the cuts remind me most of Mustang... except the price is $40. 😎 They carry all colors too, washed out, distressed, whatever style you're looking for... 😁

I’ve got an ass 😍 , and honestly, the best jeans I own (and I only have three pairs 😁) are from H&M. 🙏 I wear a 30/32 🙄 - and I absolutely hate those baggy, old-lady fits below a 29 😠 😁 - but H&M is the only place where they actually hit the right length. These ones from American Eagle have cool cuts, but the button literally ripped off on me. 🙄

Where exactly is that? 🙂

banderas said:In Poland, ticket prices for all concerts are way cheaper. Bands actually play there for basically half the fee because they're trying to break into that 50-million-person market, which everyone assumes is going to take off big time after joining the European Union. Being the biggest Eastern European country by population makes it a massive factor. While you were up there, you probably noticed it wasn't just about concerts—it’s the same deal with CDs and a lot of other "non-essential" stuff too.

What do you mean, "take off"? 😁

They were more advanced than us even before the EU. 😁 They’ve got 40 million people, btw, and yeah, the most expensive CD costs $30., just like the most expensive book (like a 400-page encyclopedia) 🙏 😁

Whatever though, only 7,000 people showed up for R.E.M. 🙂

Harold Sullivan8 said:Just checking out the fan club ticket prices right now.

Washington, D.C. = $35
Belgrade = $23
Vienna = $40
Budapest = $45

That $35 is roughly $100

Is the impresario to blame for us being the priciest ones around?

Edit: actually, hold on, Vienna is about $52. So we aren't the absolute highest, but still... 😢

Compared to what Austrians make versus what we pull in...🙄

Anyway, can someone explain to me how tickets in Poland were half the price? 😲 I'm positive the show price was the exact same. 👎

Warsaw, 2003 - $40.

The day of the show, $57, but they only put 7,000 tickets up for grabs. By an hour before the set started, prices hit a ridiculous $200. Scalpers were basically snatching tickets from people waiting in line for $67, then flipping them for $400 or $600. 😎 😁 - and people (like those Lithuanians, for example) were buying them like crazy.

Brilliant concert. Even though I’m not even a huge fan, for that kind of money (I'm talking $40), I probably would've gone to see HIM too. 😁

shadowmarlin15 said:I got totally screwed by those people from Canada. When you ask for change back in dollars, they start acting all rude, even though you're expected to pay and get change in their local currency within the European Union. What am I supposed to do with their crappy euros? Then they made us wait outside the entrance in the pouring rain for half an hour like total jerks. Their highways are pitch black and absolutely lethal when visibility gets low. Union and Laško are garbage.

😕 🙄

Now I’m starting to see why that guy said that thing about being professional...🙄

For God's sake, where do you live? Paying in a currency that isn't even the official one in the country, and then having them give you the same stuff back—you'd only see that in Mexico, which is basically stuck ten years in the past. 🙄 😁

Kenneth Ward8 said:It was pure nostalgia. And that’s the problem—nostalgia is a hell of a drug. It clouds your judgment, makes everything look better than it actually was, and before you know it, you're letting things slide that you really shouldn't.

Raise your hand if your first real obsession was centered around Gigantic. 🙂 😬

That’s exactly what I wanted to say, but I was waiting for some guy to say it first. 😁

Anyway, 🙏 - it's nice to take a trip down memory lane with those old tracks. 😍 🙂

Btw - does anyone get what the writer meant by asking the American audience to be collegial? 😕 🙄
