The old wives' tale goes: Technically, the requirements were all the same: formal education, tech skills, languages, internships, and LIVING ABROAD were listed as absolute must-haves. You'd expect that, but what actually caught me off guard was this ranking they did. Apparently, for a lot of people, having lived overseas matters even more than the actual degree itself.
Yeah, honestly, I find that hilarious too. It’s like it doesn’t even matter what you actually did over there—whether you were just brewing coffee or working construction, it somehow carries more weight than a college diploma. Look, my own time living abroad helped my career immensely, and you seriously can't compare that to some paper "certificate." It made me realize I'm ready to move back. Even if the pay is lower, I don't care as much anymore. I learned my lesson, that's for sure. 🙄>
Look, here’s the deal. I took my $1.75 paycheck and moved abroad to a place where everything actually costs less than it does back home 🙄
At first, I was like, holy crap, my old man doesn't even make this much after thirty years on the job... but honestly? I’d move back tomorrow for just $4,000 if it meant having some peace, decent people, and a sense of community. Out here, I feel totally isolated. To cope, I end up retail therapy-ing my way through the day just to kill time, which leaves me with even less cash than when I lived at home. During the five years I spent working in the States, I managed to furnish my entire apartment and finally get my life somewhat sorted... [mostly because I realized that being able to buy a TV on a six-month installment plan is basically SOMETHING YOU ONLY DO IN THE US 😁😁😁]
It’s funny, though—back home, people act like a tiny line on your resume makes you a god, just because you worked abroad, even if it was somewhere like Kazakhstan 🙄 Local experts don't get half the respect they deserve. No wonder everyone thinks life is better overseas. It sucks... seriously, there isn't enough money in the world to buy back the youth you wasted stuck in that endless work-home loop...😢 🙄

Yeah, this immediately rings a bell for me too. The problem is, you can't just switch off how you feel, and that's the worst part. Plus, it's common knowledge—though I have no clue why—that women tend to fall hard for the exact guys who treat them like garbage...🙄
Reminds me of this idiot I met in New York City. He literally sized me up from head to toe before just blurted out: "What's your favorite band? Skinny Puppy?" 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

Yeah, sure... but look, if you're running a specific type of small business—like an auto mechanic shop, for example—things change.
If I were an accountant trying to start my own tax consulting firm, I wouldn't need to pass some random competency exam to get licensed. But if I decided to open a bar? I’d definitely have to pass a food service or liquor certification exam. That's the whole point. 😉 What I'm saying is, if you check the federal registry, there's a specific classification for certain businesses that requires that kind of certification. 🙂
Look, it doesn't work like that... you've got specific classifications in the Department of Labor for which roles require them and which don't—professional certification—and that mostly applies to hospitality or trades where you actually need a master's license to operate.

Before you use it, you warm it up between your palms, slide it onto your finger, and "push" it in as deep as you can... and honestly, the partner usually helps out too... it works like a spermicide. No hormones, no annoying daily routine, no phone alarms to remind you... that's it.👍
Hmm... I don't know. Personally, that kills any romance for me. Pushing something inside like that, then you're constantly left with the sensation that something is still in there.😢
As for pills—hands down! I’ve been on them for years now, and I have to say, everything is totally fine. I haven't gained a single pound from them; it was all the candy.🙂 😁
Just check the Small Business Act to see what’s actually required.
If you aren't renting an office, your business address is just wherever you're registered—basically your home address. There's also some list somewhere in the industry classifications, I can't remember the exact government publication number right now, but it lists certain types of small businesses that DON'T need a dedicated office space. 😉
Watched 👍 for the movie... even though I can't stand martial arts films [especially when one old lady takes on 100 😁 ] but whatever... there's blood up to the knees 😁 and Lucy is 🙏 🙏

I don't need to be lectured or torn apart while stuck on that disgusting exam table.
Same here. Had a total nightmare with the gynecologist at the Student Union clinic—you know, that one right across from the mosque. 😲 🤮
Like the first one—just lying there with your legs spread toward the open window. 😲 And another thing—that woman was a total predator. She shoved that metal rod inside me so hard I saw stars, then when she pulled it out, she pinched me with it. I was bleeding everywhere. To this day, I’ve still got the scar, and it still stings me right there whenever it feels like it. 😲
And the grand finale—the rectal exam! 😲 🙄
That was my first time seeing a gynecologist, and honestly? It was disgusting. I didn't even dare go for five years before I finally worked up the nerve last year. 🙄 Even the private clinics in Kansas City are just like that. Great. 👍 I didn't even feel a thing. Plus, you get a color Doppler ultrasound and you're immediately next in line to get spit on. $100. 😎
Just married Johnny English How to lose a guy in 10 days Bruce almighty Wedding Crashers
😲 🙄 😠 😎
I'm hitting up the AMC theater to catch everything since I still have my student discount [which is basically a lifesaver for movies like the ones listed above 🙄 ]
And I won't be forgetting 🙏 😁 The secretary anytime soon.
