Fun movie.

Are you speaking from experience with people like that—or just guessing? Because I’m speaking from experience.
goldengull28 said:Maybe try forcing her into a hospital. It’s not pretty, but it's better than this. Since she's an adult, under certain circumstances, it might actually be possible to commit her to psych... Better than letting her hurt someone.

I don't see it that way—unless we're talking actual physical violence. And I mean direct bodily harm, not just breaking furniture or playing the intimidation game.
Check out the movie Divine Secrets of the
Ya-Ya Sisterhood. I still lean toward the idea that it’s just hormonal imbalances triggering aggression—plus some sort of underlying depression that leads to hypocrisy. But then again, what actually counts as "normal"? Maybe people like that are closer to our true nature than the rest of us—the quiet little sheep.
It could be hormonal—I’ve seen it happen before. Honestly, though, I’m pretty skeptical about hormone therapy, especially during pregnancy since it can mess with the fetus.

As for the double life thing, maybe antidepressants or psychotherapy could help. I’m no expert, mind you—just speaking from my own experience dealing with depression, which can definitely trigger that kind of unbearable behavior.

Sure, maybe the Pope is part of the Russian mob too. 🤣

So you guys don't care whose server you're on? Even if it's run by the mafia? Interesting way to look at things—I'll definitely keep that in mind before I send any DMs. 😁

Why would anyone bother with DMs? This affects everyone on the board—that kind of info shouldn't be kept under wraps.

Nobody is going to take you seriously as a "professional" forum if your server is hosted in Zimbabwe and your admins are part of some Russian mob outfit. 😁

Forget the triangle. Honestly, I couldn't care less about that—I’d much rather get some actual answers regarding the server and the admins. 😁

Joseph Allen71 said:Can't you see the icon (trokutić sos uskLJičnik 😁) in the message—it’s the same one at the bottom left of the post. It isn't an issue with some outdated browser; it's an issue with your eyesight. 🙂

I'm not seeing any triangle there. Does it matter that I sent myself a test message? If not, then it's probably just my mobile browser acting up again. Not exactly a first for me. 😁

lonebadger6 was probably talking about the server admins—same as me when I asked who they actually work for. 😁

EDIT: how do you guys upvote posts? I can't find the button anywhere. 🤔

lonebadger6 said:First off, moderators and super mods can't touch your private messages.

2. Admins technically (if they actually bother wasting their time doing it) can—just like on any other major forum on the web

3. The odds of them actually snooping are exactly the same as any other serious site out there. What that means for you personally is a different story. 🙂

Thanks for the info. 😁 Just curious—which specific server is this site hosted on, and which company actually employs the admins?

Roger Flores46 said:Hmmmm....I’d follow up that question with one of my own: Is there actually a way—if it's even possible—to set things so people viewing my profile can't see what I'm doing right now? 😁 Once we get an answer to that, we'll have our answer to both questions.

Just toggle on 'invisible mode' in the settings. Though, let's stay focused—this isn't some broad debate about privacy.

velvetgull9 said:How exactly are they supposed to fix anything if they don't actually read the user's message describing the issue? What, do they have a crystal ball? 😁

If you're talking about users messaging admins and mods—take the trolling somewhere else. 😁

Why would that even be their business? They aren't the police or the FBI. 😁

Does anyone know what the law actually says about privacy rights regarding media outlets like this? All I could find was this:

Anyone who opens someone else's mail, package, telegram, email, or any other form of correspondence without authorization—or otherwise violates its privacy, or unlawfully retains, conceals, destroys, or hands over someone else's closed mail, package, telegram, email, or any other means of communication—shall be punished by imprisonment for up to one year.

Is that even our law?

I’m curious about how the owners handle user privacy here. For instance—I can't seem to find any rule stating that admins or mods aren't allowed to snoop through private messages. Have they ever actually read someone's PMs without permission? If they have, what was the reasoning behind it? 😁
