Post. 😬

I’m not the one in the wrong here. 🙂

Seriously? I’ll have to look into that myself, because it doesn't sound right to me. Mind you, I have editing privileges on every post across this entire forum, so I might be looking at it through a biased lens.

Ethan Richardson3 said:Why do these emojis on the right side of this window keep swapping out every few seconds?

That started happening right after I decided to revert back to the old emoji set from before the update. 😉
I'm currently attempting to rearrange them into some kind of logical order. 🙂

HELP!!

I'm missing this one --> 😉 -- if anyone has the old version of this emoji, please send it my way so I can swap it back!

How is that even possible? You still have the edit button next to your post, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't even been five hours since you posted it.

If you're already two days late, just grab whatever the cheapest test is at CVS. Good luck. 😘
Paul Palmer43 said:😕 Hello! This is my first time posting here. I have a quick question: how early can you actually find out if you're pregnant, and could increased discharge be a sign? 😕

You might see results as early as 10-12 days after ovulation, though a blood test is always the most reliable way to be sure. Anything over 5 mIU/mL is typically considered a positive result. As for the discharge, it can be a sign, but it isn't a guarantee—it really varies from person to person.
True, but I bring it up because most women feel pressured to buy those $100 versions... when they really don't have to. They’re mostly just paying for fancy packaging.
Well, you can grab some tests for about thirty bucks at CVS 🙂

So you were a bad boy and once you hit 100, 200, 300... points, you get banned. Want more details? Check out the FBI 🙂

buy a test 06.09

Fair point. You were only 4 weeks along when you took that test—about 2 weeks after ovulation. Based on the IBM date, you're actually 6 weeks pregnant now. 😍 [per the IBM date!]
When was your last IBM appointment, and when did you first get a positive result on a test? 😁
Where should I introduce myself? in Forum Help! ·
Thomas Jones75 said:Heh... I’ve been hanging out on about a hundred different forums, and it’s always the same story—on two of them lately, the very first thread after the rules was already a total mess.
Since I couldn't find it here, I was actually kind of surprised.

Personally, when someone joins my own forum, I can't stand it when they don't bother to introduce themselves—so, I guess I won't go breaking my own unwritten rules either.

Personally, I find those threads pretty annoying and I really can't stand them—especially when people insist on making them. I'd much rather people get to know me through my actual posts than through some thread that says:

"Hey guys, I'm new. I live in Germany and just stumbled upon this forum.

Hi everyone."

I mean, wtf? 😵 😬 Anyone can tell I'm new just by looking at my registration date and my posts.

Anyway, no, we don't have that kind of tradition here (let alone a rule 😱 ).

Nothing. You just show up and write.
velvetmarlin26 said:I visited my doctor today, and he mentioned that the test only triggers at a Dow Jones 50 level or higher. If I’m actually five weeks pregnant, he says my levels should be sitting around 1,000 by now. I took a test two weeks ago and it was already positive, even though I didn't bother waiting for first-morning urine. Bottom line: if you suspect you're pregnant, just take the test.
Based on his math, I would have conceived two weeks ago, which is plenty of time for hormones to show up in a urine sample.

Sorry, but this doesn't really hold up.

According to your tracker, you're 6+2 weeks along. That means conception happened roughly 4 weeks ago, not 2. You could have found out 2 weeks ago.

Also, the specific beta number isn't what matters (other than confirming pregnancy). Theoretically, once you're doing blood work, anything above 5 is considered pregnant—assuming it's early in the cycle, obviously, not if you're already 6 weeks along with a beta of 5. What actually matters is the doubling rate. It needs to roughly double every 48 hours. Whether your initial level is high or low doesn't matter at all, as long as it's rising.

And one more thing, please format that link using URL tags 🙂. Leaving it like this isn't ideal.
