There's plenty of chaos happening, by the way. ☕

Man, I watched that stuff a few years back, honestly, and if you check out Enco’s thread over in the MLS discussion, you'll see what I mean.image

oh yeah, totally, because having a complete meltdown over not being able to fly is such a valid reason, we absolutely believe every single word you say

Man, you totally crushed me in like four minutes flat, I gotta hand it to you, I'm calling it a loss, what even

And what happens when the internet just goes dark? Like, seriously, how are we even supposed to function without it? 🤷

Where do you even hang out in Queens?

You really have to wonder what kind of masochistic streak someone has to possess to celebrate in a tiny little hole like that, you know?

Just a little masochist, haha.

The main thing is that you guys had a blast celebrating.

It’s going down in less than 24 hours, man. Seriously, you guys actually went out and bought that absolute garbage newspaper, and now you're sitting there aiming at nothing, just totally missing the mark on everything we have going on inside. I’m telling you, I’m gonna tear them apart like a storm ripping through a cabbage patch. It’s honestly pathetic.
What two threads are you even talking about? This one won't even load because you totally messed up the link ☕
Since I don't see anyone else stepping up here, feel free to set me straight if I've got it wrong, but I'm basically putting my name in the hat to be the guy who just stays quiet and doesn't start any single thread. ☕
wiredfalcon2 said:Look, I’m just coming at this as a neutral party here, but man, my head is spinning from all these endless debates about Barca vs. Real vs. Messi vs. Ronaldo. Honestly? Even kids in preschool have more serious conversations than this.

That double shot of espresso hits hard right away, no joke.
It really is just great getting this kind of backing from the most important senators on this forum. image
Look man, let me just lay it out for you: my absolute worst, most trollish post is still more constructive than your best attempt at being helpful.

And no, I’m not even joking around here.

Besides, I think someone already had to break it to you that this thread isn't some designated dumping ground for the endless tears of those pathetic little VB16 losers. You're just trolling.
Larry Fox5 said:The real issue is that this thread has been totally infected by a plague spreading to every other discussion here. You can't even leave a simple comment without getting hit by an invasion of trolls—all of them acting like they were personally insulted and needing to explain how the world works through their warped little lenses.

You guys tolerate restlesssurfer9 just because he’s got some connection to the mods—even though in ten years on these boards he hasn't written a single decent post about actual football—and then you give permanent status to Zec, who's basically the ultimate expert in his own mind. I honestly don't get the logic...🤷

Now that you brought up Zec, I gotta tell you, your entire history on this forum looks way more like his than it does mine.
You both hold views that frequently fly in the face of basic common sense, you both walk around acting superior to every other user here, and it's painfully obvious that while you might be well-versed in certain trivial facts about the soccer world, you don't actually understand the game itself very well at all.

The way Zec absolutely dismantled you during that debate about whether Bale might move to Real Madrid—man, you don't see that kind of beatdown every day.
The simple fact that you aren't even aware you were being brutally torn apart tells us everything we need to know about your grasp of the sport. Don't sweat it, you aren't the only one; this tendency to mistake knowing trivial trivia—like what Klopp had for dinner or how many times he hit the bathroom after breakfast—for actual football intelligence is a pretty common thing among hardcore fans. Anyway.

Anyone who has followed feralgardener36’s body of work will have a hard time finding any real similarities between how they write and how I write.
Zec was just a massive attention whore whose whole existence on this forum boiled down to finding a crowd he could argue with just to drive them crazy. The topics didn't matter, the opinions didn't matter, all that mattered was being contrary to everyone and trying to provoke them, and by the end of his career, he’d gotten pretty good at it.
It has absolutely nothing to do with my posts.

But like I said before, we actually have a lot in common; you also show up in a ton of threads looking like a complete alien with takes that defy elementary logic, and your online persona is so stubbornly resistant to any kind of influence from other users that it honestly reminds me of Zec—you remind me of one of those hard rubber bouncy balls you toss into a room that just smashes into everything, causing chaos everywhere it hits, while remaining totally unaffected yourself.

All in all, I know you aren't going to accept a single word of what I've written here, and I know that any intelligent follower of American football forums realized what I'm saying a long time ago, so this is basically a totally useless post on my part, a pure waste of time, but hey, my fingers just started flying across the keyboard. Nobody's perfect. ☕

ps. This conclusion of yours, that I have moderator protection, is basically the perfect summary of your entire presence on this forum; that one sentence says everything about your understanding of the topics you're trying to discuss. That's just who you are.
ruggedjackal46 breaks it all down for you.
29 or maybe 31 if you really think about it ☕
Seriously, man. I won't even get started on how you aren't allowed to call him a "mid" or anything like that, not even if you're just messing around.
Walter Grant5 said:Thinking about it more, I’m not buying that suggestion. It’s not that Robert Torres' posts lack substance—it’s just that he isn't talking about the Lakers or the Celtics. Let's be real, even with a few fans of the Knicks, Heat, or Mavs hanging around, everyone's eyes are glued to the heavy hitters. That’s just how the public follows the game. Dropping two new threads won't suddenly make people care about teams outside the big two. That's just the reality of it.

the whole point is about NOT deleting posts
I honestly don't get it, like, fundamentally, why won't they just let us stir the pot a little bit, even in the off-topic sections—well, not totally off-topic, more like the general sports lounge? Think about the engagement, man. More clicks, please. Isn't that basically the whole philosophy behind those big media conglomerates like Disney or something?

At the end of the day, you guys should just spin up two separate threads for La Liga, right? Make one of them feel like those intense 90-minute matchday discussions on ESPN, and then make the other one a total free-for-all where nothing gets deleted except the actual insults.
Then we can just sit back and see which one actually pulls more traffic, and we'll see how much weight that excuse "some users stay quiet because others are just trolling too hard" really carries.

Honestly, I’ve got a feeling if you actually opened a legit thread for La Liga, the only person who would bother posting anything is Taylor Thompson4.
Alex Cook, you went completely off the rails for a minute there, but I'm glad you finally decided to show up again 🙏
I honestly don't think anyone actually believes there's some grand conspiracy going on here, nor do I buy the idea that the mods are out to get us, because if they really wanted to drive people away, they could pull that off so easily without even trying.

The soccer sub is still kicking, just like the sport itself, but man, all these constant whistles and yellow cards from the refs lately just makes the game impossible to watch sometimes.

A truly top-tier ref knows how to command the pitch using actual authority and maybe a well-timed warning when things get heated, rather than just blowing the whistle every five seconds. ☕

As for me, I always thought Leo was the gold standard for moderation, even if he was a total glory hunter who conveniently forgot about his Liverpool roots the second the Reds hit a rough patch, but strictly speaking as a mod, he was a solid five-star performer. ☕
