Issues with my HP Envy Series printer in Computer Peripherals ·
rustysurfer79 said:120+100 equals 220 plus tax, which comes out to $92 totaling about 440 ml

If you take 440 ml and divide it by roughly 5.5 ml per cartridge, you get 80 cartridges. Add a 20% buffer and you're looking at 96 cartridges. Basically, you always want that extra 20% of ink left in the tanks to prevent the print head from drying out while it's sitting idle.

So, 275 divided by 96 equals $0.97 per cartridge.

Or more specifically,

Later on, you're just buying ink.
400 ml equals 87 cartridges, which is $42
And 125 divided by 87 is $0.47 per cartridge.

That means it’s about 98% cheaper per cartridge compared to the original brands.

And honestly, who in their right mind would ditch a local brewery $10 from Indianapolis just to save 98%? It sounds to me like you guys love those wildflowers so much you wouldn't dream of stepping on them, even if they're growing right in the middle of the road.

Sorry, but I don't even know what Hummingbird cartridges are, and trust me, there are definitely no wildflowers blooming in my yard.

rustysurfer79 said:Actually, you've got it wrong.
The math for effectively 88 cartridges is basically $40 + 100 or $50 (depending on which ink manufacturer you go with, assuming 4 * 100 ml) plus tax
.
The real question here is how much you actually save using a Hummingbird cartridge versus an original one.

I haven't a clue😁...I just grab whatever toner looks good to me when I need it.

rustysurfer79 said:If you grab one of those Hummingbird bundles—you know, the one with 88 cartridges—you’re looking at an incredible deal. You end up saving effectively 88% per cartridge!

Don't even worry about it—folks have been driving all the way from Indianapolis just to pick up that package from us here in Napa Valley!

I’m not quite sure if I followed you there!🙂All four toner cartridges are included in the package! $29??

Haha, thanks for the tip! But honestly, if I'm making a special trip just to grab some toner, I wouldn't really be saving much money at all!🙂

rustysurfer79 said:Black ink is the real workhorse here—it burns through cartridges and clogs up way faster than anything else. Honestly, we ended up tossing the original cartridges because they just weren't cutting it. Most of these printers end up at the repair shop solely because of black ink issues. As for the colors? They're perfectly fine, and you can find them in massive quantities out there.

Does anyone know where I can actually pick some of this up?🙂

rustysurfer79 said:You can actually snag some originals for as little as 30 bucks$13

Basically, we’ve got a huge stash of genuine cartridges sitting around. Most are at about 70-90% capacity. We pulled them out and swapped them for Hummingbird cartridges after getting the inkjet heads serviced.
In other words, if they're around 50% full, you can grab two original cartridges for $13

Where can I find those? I'm hunting for Black specifically!

Hey everyone! After all that trouble I had with my old printer and those third-party inks, I finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new one🙂🙂. My HP Envy Series works like a dream, but honestly, I can't even fathom going back to using refill cartridges... just thinking about how much a single $30 costs makes me feel lightheaded

Steven Rogers9 said:God, did anyone else get burned by their latest garbage design? I used to just grab my templates, swap out the phone number and price, and hit submit. Now, apparently, I have to run an update first. Great. Thanks to them, I just botched a payment and now I’m completely swamped.

It gave me a massive headache yesterday too while I was trying to figure things out🤦. But what kind of update are you talking about? My templates worked perfectly fine, except I had to manually type in the payment purpose myself

I’d at least love to see that gorgeous Apple device in action! Honestly, I don't even have the energy to post on this forum right now because I can't see it. Is it hidden behind some blue loading bar flashing on my screen? 🤷. I just finally caught sight of Anderson's response.😁

Charles Baker26 said:Well, you can always use the good old ctrl - trick to zoom out the whole page. The font will be a bit smaller, sure, but at least you won't have to keep scrolling left and right all day.

But what am I supposed to do when I try that? I'm hitting ctrl and nothing changes!🤷

Is there a fix for this?
It really feels like that old saying holds true: just because something is new doesn't mean it's actually better.

This is a total disaster🙂😁

I'm stuck constantly scrolling left and right just to read a single sentence! I'm really hoping someone realizes they need to fix this layout soon, because honestly, it's giving me a massive headache.

I just stumbled upon this thread! It’s perfect timing because I was actually about to start my own post. I’ve been struggling with a few layout issues—specifically, when I try to log in, the username and password fields show up with those weird double checkboxes. Plus, the forum width is totally off; I can only see about half a topic before I have to manually scroll horizontally to read the rest. It’s the exact same headache when I’m checking my private messages. And honestly, I don't even see any ads, but every time I click into a discussion, this massive blue bar just flashes on the screen.

Is there any way to fix this stuff?

Thanks!👍

Does anyone happen to know what the daily cash withdrawal limit is for a CHASE MASTERCARD debit card at an ATM?

Give this program a shot first. Once you do, let me know if it actually detects your printer and if you're able to reset those ink levels.

I ran the software, and while the list seems to cover just about every HP Envy Series model under the sun, my specific HP Envy Series isn't showing up. It recognizes that a printer is installed, but when I look under "Printer Model," there’s nothing listed there at all.

My printer has been running smoothly for a whole year, first using the original cartridges and then switching over to compatibles. Everything was fine until it started blinking to let me know I was low on Black. I went out and bought a new compatible cartridge and installed it exactly by the book, but the printer just won't recognize it. I even went back to the store, but they were completely clueless. The only thing I noticed is that this new replacement has an "E" label, whereas my previous one had a "T." It probably shouldn't matter, but I figured I’d try buying a full set of four new "E" labeled cartridges just to be safe. Well, I bought them and installed them, and now it's even worse—before, it would at least recognize three of them (Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta), but now it won't see any of them at all!😕.

I'm in a huge bind because I need this printer working urgently, and I am totally at a loss here😢. Look, I realize using the genuine brand name cartridges would be the easiest fix, but one single cartridge costs a fortune$30😕. My big question is: if I switch back to the originals, will it actually start working again?...

Does anyone have any advice or tips?🙏. I've heard a rumor that you can somehow sand down the chip, but I have absolutely no idea how to do that, what tools to use, or if it would even make a difference🤷

🤷🙄

I was just checking out my Chase cards, and honestly, they all have such long expiration dates. The magnetic strips look brand new, too. The only thing is that the raised white lettering on my Visa Mastercard has worn down just a tiny bit.

He probably just kept his cards tucked in his pocket, and the heat from his body caused those little strips to peel right off🤷😁. Honestly, there’s no other way it could have happened.

Henry Brown2 said:Up until today, I’ve been paying all my bills without a hitch, always getting that immediate confirmation that the transaction went through. Everything was fine. But today, while my heating bill cleared instantly, my electric bill is just sitting there marked as "pending."
What does that actually imply? Why is it stuck in limbo instead of processing right away?

😕

Is it possible you didn't submit it until this afternoon?🤷

quietcanyon13 said:How am I supposed to grab a transaction receipt in PDF format now? The payment went through, and I'm looking right at my transaction history, but there isn't a single .pdf download option to be found anywhere...

I can't log into my Chase app right this second, but I suspect this might be tied to those new rules where transactions don't actually clear until the following day if you pay in the afternoon. Last weekend, I made a purchase and the charge didn't officially process until Monday; it was basically just sitting in limbo, and the money hadn't actually left my balance yet. You should check your available balance. If the total hasn't dropped yet, the transaction is clearly still pending.🤷
