Back when I was between 10 and 13, I was totally hooked—like, a 20oz bottle every single day. It doesn't sound like much, but considering what it does to your body... not great. Eventually, I cut back to maybe once or twice a week, and now? Only if I'm out somewhere. Actually, even then, I'd take a beer over that stuff any day.
I don't know, just try to convince yourself how bad it is—read the articles, look up the health risks, the actual fatalities... you know, the grim stuff. If that doesn't work, well, good luck making it to 30 in one piece. 🙂
stars? forget Twilight just name, but kept in that minimalist style? honestly, feels like the best fit—and looks better too swallows? kinda symbolic, like everything just flies away, idk heart key? more symbolism... I guess letters
Before I weigh in, "how are you doing" usually covers "how things are going with you," whereas "how are you feeling" is more about your actual mood. I know Google Translate might just give you "how are you," but there's a nuance there—it really depends on what you're actually trying to get at.
You could also say it like this: and her parents, how are they? (I'm assuming you won't just walk up and immediately grill someone about their parents—you'll probably bring it up later in the conversation: "And your parents, how have they been?" though "how are they" works too, I guess...)
And you wouldn't typically ask "how are those kids." You'd probably go with "how are your children" or "how are your kids"—depending on if you're talking about a group or if you're being formal...

A moderator needs to be objective as much as possible, but let's be real—total objectivity is an impossible standard.
Nobody’s untouchable here. Sure, there might be a rare exception where a post gets wiped without leaving a mark on a user's record, but honestly, that shouldn't even happen...
"Almost identical" isn't actually "identical"—there’s usually some significant reason why those two threads were kept separate in the first place. That said, if the title changes but the content is basically a carbon copy, I don't see any issue with merging them just to keep the PDF archives from becoming a total mess.

Writing this from work right now and can't be bothered to force a login, especially since my coworker uses this forum too 😬 but anyway, everything resets around 8 AM. I thought maybe it was just a temporary glitch 🤷 And yeah, all I've got to look forward to is being annoyed until 8... 😁
I used to run into this when I was logged in at school or whatever, but at home it’s fine—aside from dealing with the occasional 503 or 504 error 😍
Kevin Garcia70 said:mellowseal27, you're stubbornly defending things that aren't true. We're all facing the same issues and pointing them out, yet you keep denying it like it's our hardware instead of the forum itself. For example: my text gets garbled, and it only happens on this site—along with the constant logouts, obviously. And another thing—when I want to go back a page, I have to hit the back button twice. It used to take one click to get to the previous page, but now it's just this forum. Explain why, but only if it's specific to this forum.
with the text scrambling, there probably is an issue 🤷 don't know why it's only here, though—I don't visit other boards. Besides, on other sites, you don't see these kinds of errors because when you have 100 users and the server is running fine, it barely hits 1,000 posts a day. It's funny that you think complaining about being kicked off every single day for twenty posts straight is going to change anything. Sorry, but it won't. You can't fix this with one click, so I don't see how your constant whining actually helps anyone...

I don't really follow all that technical stuff, especially if things seem normal to me.
So, from what I gather, she can't just edit her own signature however she wants (with the BB codes and all that)? And can moderators force size 1 on regular users, or is that just for them? 😕
I’ve always stuck with size 1 for my signature—looks cleaner that way. I hate it when the signature ends up being the same size as, or somehow bigger than, the actual post text.
Well, I use size 1 too.;
The max font size rule is really just there so you don't try to use size 7 to blast three lines of text—it's more about constraints. Like, size 1 covers three lines, size 2 handles two, and size 3 is for a single line. It's just meant to keep signatures looking decent and readable, nothing else.
In plain English: you can use size 1, and nobody's going to come after you for breaking the rules. Far from it...
