It’s been going on for quite a while now. Honestly, I can't even put my finger on why I'm feeling so anxious.

I honestly have no idea how I’m going to deal with this. My thyroid hormone results are coming back this Tuesday, even though it’s technically a separate issue from everything else going on.

Look, we’re talking about purely physical stuff here. Lately, my head feels like it’s overheating, and honestly, my whole body is just radiating heat. It’s not even like this started because of the weather or anything. To make matters worse, I feel like my eye is actually stuck shut—just a total sensation of burning. And get this: I don't even have a fever. I've tried hopping in the shower, but it doesn't do squat; I'll get about fifteen minutes of relief before the sweat starts pouring again, even though I'm dressed in basically nothing. I have no clue what's going on. I just want to fix this because I feel absolutely miserable.

So, I actually ended up heading back two days earlier than planned, which means I’m hitting the clinic this Friday for my final dressing change. The surgery itself went smoothly—everything was a solid 5 out of 5. For those wondering, I was over at Mount Sinai for the whole thing.

I’m heading into the hospital tomorrow, which means surgery is right around the corner. And yeah, I lied earlier—of course the report specifies the exact size of the node.

@ fadedhound69, I think you missed my point because I actually mentioned that I had a second puncture right after the first one—so yeah, it definitely happened. As for them not listing the exact size in the report, I honestly have no clue how much weight that carries (correct me if I'm wrong, though). To me, the bigger deal is that I’m getting it removed altogether

I'm actually using a family connection to get this scheduled because there is absolutely no way I could wait until February given how backed up their appointment calendar is. To make matters worse, my symptoms have already ramped up, so I’m wondering if anyone has advice on something to help me stay calm before the procedure, which should be happening in a week or two.
