Look, it's pretty unlikely you're gonna fry a CPU with any normal voltage (and by "normal," I mean stuff like 1.4V, 1.5V, and those kinds of ranges... depends on the socket and the manufacturer, obviously).
Usually, it's those insane voltages like 2.0V and up that actually kill a chip.😬
Running at 1.4V or 1.6V is perfectly fine as long as your cooling setup is solid.🙂
What's the deal with reviving a thread from three months ago?

Oh, I'll change it for you, alright?😬

So, I was scrolling through the Free Press the other day when I saw this absolute joke of a giveaway. They’re tossing out some Brazil sticker like it’s actually worth something. And get this—they’re claiming they have something like 3.4 million registered soccer players. Give me a break. What a total load of crap.😁
So, here it is.
Sophia Patel8 said:Look, everyone just chill for a second. It’s not even about hating soccer as a sport. Personally, I think soccer is actually pretty cool and I love playing it myself. The issue is specifically that the media gives soccer way more attention than any other sport out there.
So what?
Everything written above is true, but you're totally missing the point! What are you even trying to say with this?
Maybe we should just start some kind of association to fight for equal coverage for all sports on TV or whatever. Something like that.😕
The topic itself is kind of pointless...
I don't even know where to start with this. Honestly, most of the arguments I'm seeing are just stupid. Like, how is anyone actually supposed to enjoy watching 22 idiots just kicking a ball around a field? You could say that about pretty much any sport, or hell, anything in life—school, college, even your job.
On the flip side, I get why this "modern Football" vibe has gotten under everyone's skin, but I don't see how boycotting is going to fix a damn thing. To be honest, I don't see a solution at all, and if I'm being real, I don't even think there's a real problem to solve.
Look, it’s true that for us die-hard fans, Football used to feel different. It felt like people played for the love of the game, or they were volunteering, or maybe making a modest paycheck just to cover the bills. But dammit, that was fifty years ago. Things are different now...
Remember when people actually talked about a single "transfer"? Now, every club is buying and selling 50 players a year, and we're talking about numbers with ten zeros attached to them. 🙄
Players are being traded for tens of millions, and even guys on the national team are being bought and sold like commodities...
It is what it is. But I'm not boycotting anything. I'll be right there in the stands like always...
Moving this to Football, nothing to do with the World Cup

Nick Nuñez😁
Nuñez couldn't come up with anything more original than that if his life depended on it.😁

Look, I'm a saint at heart, alright?😍
All this talk about hooligan schemes is just nonsense. Pure garbage.🙂 ANAB😬
There's plenty of love in all of this too.😍
Happy Easter (to both of you).... even if mine is coming a little bit late to the party🙂
wanderingbadger16 said:because I was reading some overclocking articles online and they were all saying it definitely shortens the lifespan of the card.
Yeah, sure, you're shortening it, but we're talking about going from 10 years down to maybe 3 or 4...
By then, you'll have already replaced the thing anyway.🙂
David Wilson46 said:temps usually sit around 108-110 F, but when I'm transcoding movies it hits 135-137 F even though I vacuum the dust out regularly.
Look, it’s not totally insane, but you really ought to underclock things a bit or upgrade your cooling setup to keep that peak around 122 F.
Don't forget, summer is coming, so those temps are only gonna climb higher.🙂
David Wilson46 said:I overclocked my Pentium 2.93 to 3600. How much longer can I push this thing before it starts smoking?
Depends on how hot you're running...
literally nobody said:Yeah, just use a tiny thumbnail instead. 🙂
Look, I get it, but honestly? In 99% of cases, it's just complete nonsense.🙂
nobody and nothing said:Actually you can
But there’s a limit, so it’s useless for an image...
That might work for some tiny .txt file or whatever, but there is absolutely no way it works for an image🙂
gottcha said:Look, if it shows up animated when you open it in your photo viewer, then it’s obviously supposed to be animated... 😕
Wrong.😁
It's obvious this is some new kind of drug.🤣
Terry Fisher2 said:They’re still running those Intertoto play-off matches where even the 12th place team in the league can snag a spot.🙏
But wait, isn't there a rule stating that starting this season, a club can't qualify for the Intertoto if they finish 4 spots (I think it's 4) lower than the last qualifying team from any other country?
velvetgull9 said:Guys, I almost accidentally rerouted you all straight to the Food & Drink sub, but I decided to open this thread instead. 🤣
Where the hell are you going? You’re making a complete mess of things!😘
Fortez, what kind of absolute garbage title is this? Seriously?😁As for those Dutchmen... absolute idiots.🤣
That's just plain stupid.
Desirée said:Because some of these subforums won't let you post pictures, it sucks. 🙂
Just wanted to jump in here and add my two cents...
Look, it’s not that hard to find. There's an announcement sitting right there in the bottom left corner of every single forum page that lays out exactly what the rules are around here. Just read it.🙂
