Wait, what exactly are we looking at here? Like, for the CPU, I’ve got plenty of different tests to run...
Just hit "Select" and then click "Select all." You should see about 45 tests in there. 👍 Once 2004 finishes everything up, you'll get the results in points, just like my scores above.

I honestly think this is just more baseless gossip👍

Tyler Lee57 said:What kind of scores are you guys getting in PCmark? I just picked up PCmark 2004 but it's acting crazy. Every time I try to run the full suite, it hits an error right around the fourth test and crashes the whole damn program...
Here's what I'm pulling:
Total 1336
CPU 1396,0
Memory 770,0
Graphics 622,0
HDD 2847,0
My rig is:
Intel Pentium 4 1.1GHz
256 SD RAM
ASUS motherboard, VIA VT8363
ATi Radeon 9200SE
BTW, did you actually register PCmark?🤔

I just picked up:
Intel Pentium 4 (333 MHz)
an Epox board with an nForce 2 chipset
512 MB of DDR SuperRAM Kingmax (400 MHz)
What’s the best way to tweak my BIOS to squeeze every last drop of power out of this thing? I don't know anything about soldering and I definitely don't have the tools for it, so I need to do this strictly through the BIOS settings... oh, and the cooler came with the processor, so I'm just running the stock box cooler.
thanks
Man, just go back and find the old thread where everything is laid out perfectly. There's zero point in typing this out ten times when the process is exactly the same every single time.🙂

Can I overclock this setup? If so, how do I actually do it?
Check the other thread where everything is laid out in detail.👍
The GPU doesn't matter when you're talking about the CPU overclock.🙂 The card has its own specific overclocking process, but honestly, don't even bother—that card is garbage when it comes to overclocking.
WTF.

Explain yourself... I'm waiting.
It’s the exact same reason you love them.
For real though.

Weren't they just getting slammed with accusations of throwing games just to bag some cash?
🙄
Don't even start with that philosophical crap now....
For real though.

frozencobra69 said:Look... I've never understood this. Why hate a team just because they knocked your favorites out of the tournament??
It's not the Washington Commanders' fault that they have such absolute bottom-of-the-barrel players on the field... (we all know exactly who they are)
Wow, you really nailed the logic there.👎 Nice one :klap: The Los Angeles Dodgers are the ones who cut Z. Runje, not the Washington Commanders, and personally, I've hated the Washington Commanders for ages...
But honestly, all these big-money clubs can just go straight to hell...

Frank Morales3 said:That’s just how those backroom deals work... The Yankees give Reggini some points now to stay afloat, then Reggina hands them right back next season.
But the second a team like Zadar does the exact same thing, suddenly it’s a national crisis. 😁

Honestly, thank God the police and the courts in America are such a total mess, because if they actually did their jobs, you wouldn't be walking away with the "most important side hustle" ever.😁

Look, if you're too chicken to mess with the voltage, then don't touch it. Period. Just bump up the Front Side Bus by maybe 2 or 3 MHz at a time, reboot the damn thing, and run a benchmark—PCMark 04, for example. Just keep cycling through tests until everything goes to hell or Windows refuses to even boot. That's how you do it.
Then you just dial it back by like 2 or 3 MHz and boom—everything’s fine. Problem solved.
You really ought to set that memory to 2-2-2-6 or something close to it. Trust me on this one.👍
Look, from what I know about the Pentium 4, it should easily hit 3GHz. I even have a buddy who’s pushing his up to 3.6GHz—he says it's all about cranking that voltage.
By the way, anyway... PC Expert US I've got a few articles on overclocking scattered around—go check out their forum—plus I’ve put together some stuff over in the tutorials section.👍
Good luck!
I can't even deal with this right now. Absolute garbage. Total waste of my damn time!

You can totally run Hotmail through Outlook Express, but just a heads-up: you aren't gonna type in "POP" there. You gotta use the actual URL, which is this:

goldenowl73 said:I didn't touch the memory settings. After running Far Cry for an hour, temps hit 52C. Everything seems totally stable so far.
Look, if it's stable, it's good. I don't care if the temps look a little high. 👍
Whatever.

What motherboard are you running?😕 😕
Thanks

So, I just ran PCMark 04 and pulled a score of 1336 points😲😁 gotta brag a little bit about that one
