True, though I haven't actually made it to the doctor yet. Besides, the medication isn't doing much for me when they're basically tearing up my apartment all day long because of the renovations happening in the unit right below mine. 😠
The noise is driving me absolutely insane. Then at night, I can't even sleep properly because it finally gets quiet, and I just find myself sitting there enjoying the fact that my brain isn't vibrating from the racket.
Amanda Stewart7 said:Not sleeping can be way more dangerous than people realize. If you go too long without rest, you're heading straight toward getting sick. The state you're describing is a direct result of sleep deprivation, so yeah, obviously your life has changed. When you aren't sleeping, you can't think straight; you can get totally numb, or aggressive—usually, chronic insomnia leads straight into psychosis. If you're feeling this bad, take something to help you sleep tonight, and then get some professional help first thing tomorrow. Try to stay grounded and convince yourself to calm down, because all these dark thoughts and conclusions are just the fallout from the lack of sleep.
I haven't been sleeping well lately, and I feel like I'm completely losing my mind. 😢
Well, I suppose that’s what happens when you actually enjoy playing as the Border Patrol and mistake a mediocre game for a good one, even though it clearly isn't.😳
Yes, I suppose it’s true—things were certainly easier back when you weren't being personally targeted, let alone subjected to such systematic harassment.
I honestly don't quite follow you all. You're over here praising the linebacker, yet I’m still walking past the local park today feeling a bit anxious, half-expecting some kid to launch a football straight at my head. Back in my day, the linebacker's primary job was basically to make sure whoever was at the bottom of the defensive line got hit hard enough to stay humbled. It was less about strategy and more about making an example out of people, I suppose. You call this a game, but if you ask me, it isn't really a game at all; it's more like a war 😢
I suppose I should just point out that humans have been dressing themselves for thousands of years, whereas children's clothing is really only a relatively recent development of the last century or so. It isn't particularly surprising, I guess, that it seems to be disappearing again.
I’ve always felt a bit embarrassed watching that, mostly because it just reminds me of... well, peeing. I suppose I've never actually given that soda a try myself.😁
I suppose they might be fine for beginners, but for seasoned chemists, they're a bit lacking. Personally, I didn't find Sanofi to be all that bad either; it was just Cerson that felt a little off to me—it seems like an older generation of formula, I guess.
copperrider20 said:Exactly. It’s not even about whether there are 35 or 40 weeks of school—it’s just a total waste to have kids stuck in a classroom on September 1st when they could be dying of boredom on some island by October 10th. (Chicago is basically the only city that offers free summer language courses, winter skating clinics, and whatever else you can think of.)
Up in Northern Europe, there are entire regions and countries where school doesn't even start until August 15th. But hey, we're in the States—we've got the coast and the sunshine. Why kill off all that free fun for half the country?
Yeah, true. That reminds me, people in Miami were the first ones out protesting when they tried to reorganize the school calendar like that a few years back...
