I am absolutely sick of this constant vomiting, the total exhaustion, and this relentless nausea
rustywolf16 said:Honestly, it’s not a bad question at all🙂it really makes you stop and think. There are days when everything between us is absolute bliss. Nothing is an issue, we agree on everything, there's plenty of affection... but then there's that one day where neither of us is willing to budge. Those days are rare, which is why they hit me so hard—I'm just not used to them. And yeah, sometimes it’s actually much faster and easier to settle the massive life decisions than it is to argue over the little things. Does it throw me off balance sometimes? Oh, absolutely. But hey, we live alone, so there's nobody else around to drive me crazy.🙂Is it always smooth sailing for you?

Of course it isn't...

But after ten years together—six living under the same roof and five married—I have never once reached the point where I’m moving back into my parents' house, everything is falling apart, I can't find a way to get through to him, or he can't hear me even when I'm yelling...

We definitely have our disagreements, but we are both incredibly practical people who aim to fix things immediately instead of wasting three days on unnecessary drama, hysterics, or that suffocating silent treatment.

We just aren't those kinds of people and we don't have any patience for that kind of nonsense. Let's be clear, these issues happen because life happens, but we deal with them right then and there.
I’ve got a question for the group... I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or call out any specific marriages here, I just want to hear some perspectives:

If you can't even get on the same page about the small stuff—like who’s handling the cooking, the laundry, or the grocery runs—how on earth do you and your partner actually tackle real problems or make decisions about the big, life-altering things?

Someone please weigh in...

Has anyone here gone through a laparoscopy followed by a three-day hospital stay without using supplemental insurance? I'm trying to get an idea of what the total bill actually looks like.
