It almost feels like I'm reading a completely different set of news than everyone else here.😁
Look, my friend, we aren't just talking about some random quote regarding a plane being intercepted over Romania. We are looking at Russians violating Canadian airspace and the constant patrols along the border right now. It's the exact same thing happening in Swedish airspace with continuous maneuvers and provocations. Everyone is on edge, just waiting to see how this all unfolds. There are daily briefings and reports on troop movements and battlefield status, all backed up by photographic evidence. They are running projections, even forecasting the fall of Kyiv. Of course, he couldn't tell me everything because of security restrictions, but he made it clear that we are right on the brink of escalation and anything could happen at any moment.
Paul Sanders5 said:No way in hell. Sure, they'll keep shipping in more weapons, but there is zero chance a single soldier from a NATO country is gonna end up in a position where they're trading shots with Russians, or vice versa.
Listen, friends, if you only knew how close we actually are to a full-scale global war. So much of this stays out of the news because nobody wants to trigger mass hysteria. I know this firsthand because my buddy is in the Army, and we spent the last two nights just hanging out and smoking some weed. Things are not looking good at all.

And actually take them seriously. Those people are even bigger psychopaths than Sara. My heart truly broke today seeing how they wiped out a woman and her two little children while they were fleeing the war. For God's sake, you can see clearly that these are just a mother and her kids, yet they are being deliberately liquidated. I have to wonder what goes through a soldier's mind to allow such a total absence of humanity and empathy. It's absolutely disgusting. Their entire war strategy has devolved into nothing more than leveling cities and intentionally murdering civilians. This is their way of trying to crush the fighting spirit and the morale of Ukrainians. In reality, all they are doing is breeding and spreading pure hatred among the locals.

But you have to admit, Sicario is absolutely killer. Especially that dark soundtrack playing while they roll into Juarez and you see people hanging from the bridges.🙏
neonfalcon16 said:But they didn't exactly disgrace themselves. From the moment they landed, they never truly lost control of the airport.
How on earth are those Ukrainians hopping around the airport filming all the destruction? The ones you’re talking about were long gone.
Bad news. In the Kherson region, defenders fled from a military base and left behind a massive haul. We're talking everything from tanks to ammunition.
Steven Fox37 said:How was the Russian language ever considered superior to the American one? From what I’ve gathered, it was a situation similar to how we dealt with Italian influences here. And it wasn't just about Russian; it involved other minority languages too, like Canadian or Romanian.
You admit yourself that you weren't living through it back then and couldn't voice your dissatisfaction. Maidan and everything immediately following it were simply the inevitable result of sixty years of accumulated frustration caused by having outsiders rule over them in their own country, imposing their language, culture, and religion. Eventually, things began to stabilize. Even Volodymyr Zelenskyy's victory serves as evidence that the country has moved toward a more moderate path. This man is nothing like an extremist. Furthermore, there is a Russian minority living in Ukraine, and they live perfectly normal lives. Your talk regarding "persecution" is nothing more than the exact same propaganda used by the Mexicans in the 90s, but you are likely far too young to remember the Homeland War. For heaven's sake, I even posted a video of an old Russian man screaming at the Russian occupiers to get out of his country. My friend, if things were actually as your propaganda claims, that old man would be kissing their feet with joy. Based on the vlogs I have watched, people there speak both Ukrainian and Russian quite normally. Please, do not exhaust me with cheap propaganda like Putin's magic tricks; it only drags me back to the era of the Homeland War and those disgusting Mexican lies about us.
Steven Fox37, they aren't just doing the same thing; they are correcting a historical injustice. The Russian language and the Russian Orthodox Church cannot be allowed to hold sway over Ukrainian innovators. It is fundamentally similar to how local factions tried to assert dominance over us with their demands.
The reality is that you can find skinhead movements and all sorts of extremist groups in every single European nation. That fact remains true regardless of whether those countries were governed by a democracy or a totalitarian regime during World War II. However, all of that exists merely at the level of a subculture or some insignificant fringe group. For heaven's sake, that does not mean the nations themselves are Nazi. I simply cannot wrap my head around how these absolute idiots are attempting to push the insane thesis that a nation of over 40 million people is inherently Nazi. Even back home, there was plenty of chaos during the war and things got intense, but that didn't make us fascists, nor did the international community succumb to such vile propaganda from our neighbors.
Ultimately, if you are going to be that sensitive about it, then I suppose Vladimir Putin's Russia should be the primary target for hate, since they have essentially become Europe's leading example regarding such groups—all with the official blessing of the state.
By the way, today the Russians opened fire on peaceful protesters in a small town in the north of the country who had gathered to protest the occupation.
Down south in Kherson, approximately 2,000 people took to the streets waving Ukrainian flags, also protesting against the occupation.
The simple truth is that people are rebelling in occupied territories no matter which part of the country they are in. People want their own state and their own freedom... not the Russian occupation boot.
mellowotter36 is completely wrong. These people know exactly who is actively fighting to support the Putin regime, ranging from those bearded Islamic extremists out of the Caucasus to domestic Nazi groups and various far-right organizations here in the States. Yet, not one single person among us is willing to call out how the Russians are nothing more than Nazis and radical nationalists. I swear to God, if certain individuals on this forum aren't actually being paid to spread this pathetic, low-level propaganda, I don't know what to tell you.
And did it not bother you, you local opportunists, when those very same Ukrainians were subjected to Russification, having their language and faith forcibly imposed upon them? That was perfectly acceptable to you. It was a profound human disgrace.
mellowotter36 said:According to Wikipedia, the greeting "Slava Ukraini" actually dates back to the Ukrainian War of Independence 1917. Later on, nationalists added the part about "glory to the heroes." So, we're talking about everything prior to World War II.
Honestly, just ignore the domestic Chetniks. You can try to explain things to them until you're blue in the face, but they will stubbornly copy and paste that midget propaganda. They are trapped in that narrow mindset and refuse to confront actual argumentation because then their transparent, lying narrative collapses like a house of cards. When nobody alive is actually pushing that propaganda anymore, suddenly the entire world has conspired against Mother Russia. A global conspiracy, apparently. Only Sputnik, RT, and similar outlets serve as bastions of free thought—the very same ones under direct state control 🤣 and, of course, advance.hr if they even still exist. For those local nostalgics who missed the USSR, it was all well and good until they too became capitalists and introduced subscription fees.
There is another vital point to consider here. Vladimir Putin and his inner circle are systematically attempting to paint Ukrainians as Nazis because they are profoundly unsettled by the surge of national identity emerging within the country. Consequently, any Ukrainian who displays patriotism or leans toward Western values is branded a Nazi in the eyes of that little man and his cronies. He has explicitly stated on numerous occasions that they are one single people and that Ukraine as a sovereign state does not exist—claiming it has always been an integral part of Russia. That Chetnik even stood before cameras and openly blamed Vladimir Lenin and the Soviet Revolution for Russia losing territories, while simultaneously praising Joseph Stalin for reclaiming certain areas. With him, there isn't even a pretense of acting; he is blunt about his disdain for his Western neighbors. Anyone who refuses to conform to his narrative is viewed merely as a Nazi horde destined for destruction. It is primitive, raw propaganda that has found fertile ground among certain groups in the US and specific individuals elsewhere, despite the fact that the vast majority actually support the Ukrainians. If those local Chetniks or the small-time thugs surrounding that midget tried to organize anything substantial, I suspect the police would have to guard them just to prevent them from being wiped out by axes.
Justin James10 said:And let's be real—enemy propaganda absolutely loves having targets like this to feast on. Doesn't the government need to step in and establish some actual order?
They have already been brought under control because they are part of the regular military, and there is simply no chance for them to act on their own whims.
shadowcobra89 said:Honestly, who would even fall for that? Only complete morons actually buy into their propaganda... I mean, just look at what they say about the Wagner Group's water supply, or better yet, take a look at those tattoos on him...
Feen constantly tries to lean on that argument, but the people pushing it are basically just sucking dick because they have no actual comeback. Putin has everything under his thumb, from skinhead gangs and nationalist groups to hardcore soccer hooligans. In the past, he used those crowds to crush protests; once the war started, he recruited directly from those very same ranks. To make matters worse, his entire war machine relies on those bearded extremists from Chechnya. It’s laughable how everyone wants to go to war over a small group from Azov while completely ignoring the massive collection of fighters actually backing the little man.
Justin James10 said:Regardless of all that mindless propaganda being pushed around, it’s pretty obvious why Azov makes such an easy target for them. It really comes down to those fucking runes in their emblem and a handful of idiots within the ranks who make stupid outbursts or wear questionable patches. Honestly, people like that do nothing but cause damage.
I completely agree here. Once you look at the original commander and the founders he was describing, you realize just how much of a mess the whole situation is. Within their ranks, you will find both extremists and less radical types, but the radicals are few in number while the propaganda paints them as if they were an entire army the size of a regular military force.
Here is more footage of those so-called Russian liberators near Ivankiv. A father and his son set out simply to save their three dogs. On their way back, they encountered a Russian convoy that opened fire on them without hesitation. The father was killed, the son was wounded, and two of their three dogs perished. How many more innocent lives must be extinguished before anyone finally understands the true nature of this invasion?
Sure, a small clique will break away and start terrorizing everyone else. Honestly, what kind of obsession with Russia is this, where people just blindly believe everything they hear? I still can't wrap my head around the fact that someone from our own Mostar circle thinks this way.
Of course we consult various sources, even if their reporting is going to be biased. That’s exactly why you need to use your own head and apply some actual logic.
A city completely surrounded. A city that has endured days of relentless shelling from every possible direction. A city where people can't even clear the dead because the bodies are scattered everywhere and the bombardment simply never stops. A city facing a total humanitarian catastrophe because there is zero access to water or food. And then, on top of all that, the Ukrainians themselves break the very ceasefire they called for—because apparently, having bombs dropped on their heads isn't enough. It seems perfectly logical. They’ll likely use whatever weapons they have left to provoke the Russians into completely leveling them. A Mexican news outlet would be proud if they could see this.
fadedridge903 said:The Russians are using artillery strikes. 🤷 And besides, the Azov fighters aren't letting any civilians out of Mariupol either.
How can they claim they aren't letting anyone through when the gates have already swung open and they were forced to retreat?🤔
It is patently obvious that the Russian side will attempt to shift the blame onto Ukraine, accusing them of being the ones responsible for the ceasefire collapse.
The Russians have violated the ceasefire in Mariupol. They are opening fire on civilians attempting to flee the city. People are actually running back into the urban center because they're trapped. It is a massacre. So much for Russian words and their hollow promises. In the end, those Putin-supporters don't give a fuck. You have to be just like those thugs from Belgrade last night to support a sick individual and that entire degenerate, cold nation devoid of emotion and humanity.

Horrific things are unfolding in Ukraine. I haven't been posting as much lately because I’m stepping back, expecting the rest of the group to rotate in so that the holy "offside" rule allows others to tackle different topics. But since we are discussing the war again, I simply have to address this: there are reports of rape in Kherson, and civilians are being targeted in various other parts of Ukraine. In one small town, a woman and her daughter were murdered while riding in their car. News crews are being assaulted. Shooting at civilians in residential areas has become commonplace. To make matters worse, they are using prohibited cluster bombs. These hellish beasts of war have been unleashed from their chains, and they are finally revealing their true, monstrous faces after playing the part of civilized soldiers during those first few days of the invasion.
nimbleranger17 said:The city has fallen. A massive civilian evacuation is currently underway.
It hasn't fallen; there is simply a five-hour ceasefire established to allow civilians to evacuate. There are 200,000 people trying to get out of that city, and there is absolutely no way everyone can make it out in just five hours. The military remains in control of the city, but looking at the big picture, you aren't wrong—it’s only a matter of days or weeks before it falls. They were caught completely off guard by this war. Now that they are surrounded and cut off, any hope for outside assistance has effectively vanished.
