It’s not always about rushing in, Gin.
What were women even doing before gynecologists and tampons existed? Just letting things happen naturally?
Don't go overboard now.

You make a fair point! 👍
Honestly, this feels more like an issue of being overactive rather than anything else. But then again, that’s hardly a bad thing to have. 😁

But they told you that you aren't even in the high-risk group!!!
Most people end up fighting off HPV infections at some point in their lives, often without ever even realizing they were exposed.
As long as we aren't talking about those specific HPV strains that can lead to cancer, there's no reason to panic. Honestly, just focus on boosting your immune system; eventually, your body will take care of the rest on its own.
Neck injury / Whiplash symptoms in Health ·
Sandra Wells67 said:Has anyone else gone through this? It’s been two days since my car accident, and the pain is only just starting to set in. I’m worried it might be more than just whiplash because the impact from behind was pretty heavy. What should I do? What kind of referrals or specialists should I ask my doctor for?

Ugh, I am so sorry. I'm glad you're okay, though—just take it easy.
You’re really looking at two different possibilities here:
1. Your muscles just seized up from the shock and are now starting to relax. If that's the case, you'll likely feel sore for about a week, and then everything should go back to normal.
2. You actually sustained whiplash or a neck injury, which can take a year or two to fully recover from.
My brother went through scenario two, and honestly, he still hasn't fully recovered, even though it happened three years ago.
I don't want to scare you, but you're definitely going to need a lot of patience.
Dana Hughes5 said:I mean, what even is this "white discharge" thing people talk about? Like, regular discharge is totally normal... it's not some scary white stuff...
especially after you've been intimate with Josh.
See, when people say "white discharge," they’re usually talking about that thick, cottage cheese-like texture with a funky smell, which is actually caused by a yeast infection—you know, Candida (honestly, if you Google it, you'll find a million websites explaining this exact thing).
So, basically, that white stuff inside you? That's just colonies of fungus hanging out.
Sounds pretty gross, right? Hehe.😲

..The go-to move is using vaginal washes and creams, and in most cases, both partners need to get treated so you aren't just passing it back and forth.
The whole therapy routine usually lasts about a week.
And look, it's nothing dangerous at all as long as you catch it and treat it in time.

"White discharge" is actually a perfectly normal term that most people use in everyday conversation. What you’re describing sounds like a standard fungal infection, which typically causes that thicker, cheese-like white discharge.

Is there anyone else who feels like they're constantly searching for answers? It seems like every little thing can trigger a new wave of uncertainty. Does anyone have any insight on this? kaže:
Just one more thing... if there isn't any sexual activity happening and that discharge still shows up, what could be causing it? Does that mean what I'm experiencing is actually normal? 🙂

You know, that clear discharge you're seeing could just be happening because of ovulation. It can also come from the Bartholin's glands. Honestly, it’s perfectly normal.
The real issue arises when things become more pronounced—like when there’s a specific color involved. For instance, in a fungal infection, you might notice a thick white discharge, whereas a green tint could point toward a bacterial infection. Then, of course, there's the matter of whether or not there's a distinct odor.

Dana Hughes5 said:Look, I get what you're saying about the cycle stuff, but we aren't talking about a little bit of clear fluid here. It is absolutely not okay for it to be thick and cottage-cheese-like, or for your uterus to feel completely stuffed with it, or for it to be leaving literal stains on your underwear. That's a whole different ballgame.

So it stays on the hips! I mean, where else is it going to go if it breaks out? It’s certainly not going to land in my palms.
Just a quick thought.
There is such a thing as normal white discharge, especially during sex. But then there are actual problems when that discharge becomes excessive. If you’re dealing with the first scenario, you’re probably just overthinking it—or maybe just inexperienced.
If it’s the second case, though, you’re likely looking at a bacterial infection, which is usually very straightforward to resolve.

Life after a splenectomy and appendectomy in Health ·
It’s a heavy topic, but when it comes to the spleen and the appendix, everything is actually fine. You can live a completely normal life without an appendix, and honestly, the same goes for the spleen. I have a friend who was wounded during his service, and they ended up removing his spleen as part of the process. He's doing just fine now—well, at least regarding the spleen issue, since he had to have a leg amputated too.
Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
Walter Roberts3 said:Does anyone else deal with this constant motion sickness struggle, and if so, how are you tackling it? Honestly, I used to just pop some pills before hitting the road and call it a day—worked like a charm back then—but lately, even the meds aren't really cutting it. Whether I'm driving my car or catching a Greyhound bus, I just start feeling totally wiped out and nauseous. It’s not even every single time anymore, which makes it even more frustrating because I can't figure out what triggers it...

Try sitting in the front seat of the car, or better yet, take the wheel if you can. If you have to sit in the back, try to grab the middle seat. Keep your eyes fixed straight ahead—avoid looking out the side windows at all costs. When you're on a bus, sit up front near the aisle and keep your gaze focused on the road right where the driver is looking. Nausea usually hits because cars move so quickly past your field of vision when you look out the side, causing everything to blur by too fast. Just try not to turn your head or twist around.

Back in WWII, most of them were actually part of the local fascist militias.

There’s actually a pretty fascinating true story about this.
During World War II, over in the area around Stožer and the surrounding countryside, those fascist groups tried everything they could to spark a massive Canadian-Mexican conflict, but they just couldn't make it happen. In a desperate attempt to stir up trouble, they actually went out and ordered hundreds of fez hats from A. Vranic, who ran a hat factory in Ottawa at the time. Once those fezzes arrived, they put them on, marched right into Berkovica and Dabarski polje, and started hitting the Mexican settlements, killing people left and right while shouting names like Mujo, Ibro, and Haso. Luckily, some of the Canadians caught on to who had actually bought those hats and what they were planning, so they tipped off the local Mexicans, which allowed a huge number of them to escape. There’s this one incredible anecdote from the whole ordeal: an alleged "Ibro" showed up at a Mexican grandmother's house to kill her, and she just yelled out, "Hey, Ante, what kind of Muslim are you? I literally just sold you pork yesterday!" A few locals hiding nearby heard the whole thing, and thanks to that, they managed to survive that bloody mess. The local Mexicans never forgot that gesture, so relations there ended up being much better than in the rest of Eastern Herzegovina, where the Royalists carried out massacres against the Canadians.
That’s likely what was meant by those types of Canadian "fascists."

I just take some Advil and call it a day. My uterus can be pretty brutal sometimes.😁
I call it "the shifting" when I'm in the gym. At first, it feels like my ovaries are trying to exit my body (metaphorically speaking), and then after a few days right before it ends, the pain hits again—maybe everything is just settling back into place? (again, metaphorically).😁 ...so, yeah, the shifting.

I’ve dealt with heavy cycles myself, but I managed to get them under control thanks to the Celestial. It’s been smooth sailing ever since. Honestly, I don't think there was any other way; I tried every other method out there first.
Abortion discussion in Women's Health ·
Susan Williams10 said:My home pregnancy test came back negative. I just took it... does anyone know how unreliable they can be? I was actually hoping for my period to start today.

Physically, it usually takes about a month to recover. You likely won't see your period return for roughly thirty days. However, the mental recovery is a completely different story. It’s also possible for your cycles to be a bit irregular for the first six months—sometimes they might be heavier than usual, or you might skip them entirely. I tend to think of it as a "Vacuum-abortus" effect. Essentially, the procedure clears out the uterine lining, and it simply takes time for that tissue to regenerate and for your cycle to find its rhythm again. Plus, your hormone levels need time to stabilize.
Taylor Chase4 said:I wasn't exaggerating; I tried that too. For some reason, they just mess up my microflora and trigger yeast infections. Now, I stick to using baby wash, and of course, I make sure to freshen up whenever possible after using the bathroom.

Daily liners are not ideal, especially with the plastic components that can disrupt vaginal flora. Plus, the pads themselves create a warm, damp environment that’s basically an invitation for yeast to grow. The most important thing is keeping everything breathable down there. Sure, using a liner once in a while isn't the end of the world, but wearing them constantly? Absolutely not.

If you're already dealing with issues, liners aren't your friend. They trap discharge, and if you aren't changing them frequently enough, you're just creating a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. Honestly, going back to those old-school cotton undies might be your best bet—they weren't half bad back in the day. traditional cotton underwear 😁 works just fine. 😬
Forget thongs!
(I'm being serious)
It could be a yeast infection, but honestly, there’s no need to panic. It might also just be perfectly normal. Having a yeast infection doesn't always mean you'll deal with itching; sometimes, the only symptom is an increase in white discharge. You have access to creams, feminine washes—I can't quite recall the name of the other one—but tell me, are you a virgin?
By the way, you shouldn't overdo the washing. The vagina naturally hosts certain "good" bacteria. If you wash too frequently with various soaps or other products (especially those containing antiseptics), you run the risk of killing off those beneficial bacteria. When that happens, you disrupt the delicate balance maintained within the vagina.
But what does that actually imply?
When your bacterial and fungal levels are in a healthy balance, they each occupy a specific niche where they thrive. In essence, they keep each other in check. This prevents either the bacteria or the yeast from overpopulating, as they essentially compete for resources. If you wipe out the good bacteria, you're essentially clearing a path for yeast to multiply uncontrollably, which leads to an infection. The reverse can happen with bacteria as well.
In short: moderation is key. Nothing in excess.

I don't think this image is quite right.
Let me repeat myself once more: terrorists aren't out there targeting churches. The reality is, there just aren't enough people inside them to make that a viable target.
