The whole point of these measures is risk mitigation; you only expose yourself to risk when it's absolutely necessary. Is buying food necessary? Yes. Is going to church necessary? No. That comparison is so incredibly stupid I can't believe you've already posted it several times.
For a significant portion of your fellow Americans, spiritual renewal is just as much a necessity.
Connecting with the Creator matters more to many than sourdough, bagels, or pastries, however hard that might be for some people to wrap their heads around.
The barbaric break-in at Saint Leopold Mandić's cathedral yesterday shouldn't be viewed as anything other than the long-awaited fulfillment of the Šugosloven ambition: using brute force to disrupt a liturgical service—something they failed to achieve even during the darkest days of the communist era. With stricter bans on public gatherings now in place, they’ve essentially handed themselves the perfect alibi to finally force their will upon reality.
There is a deep-seated malice within that group. Truly, it's immense; don't underestimate them. They will seize any opportunity to spit on our sacred sites. Today, Father Joseph stood his ground and shouted "no pasaran" to those radicals.
Don't kid yourselves thinking today's events were driven by journalistic zeal or concerns over public health. It wasn't. It was pure malice, with serving as the sole motivation 😉
Finally, some actual drama for both the far-right and the far-left during this whole pandemic mess. They’ve been a bit quiet these last couple of weeks, but clearly, things couldn't stay calm for long. 🥱
Kudos to the brave journalist who, in one quiet act of heroism, exposed about 15 grandmas to the entire nation while they were busy being illegally arrogant and entitled during church services. And let’s not forget all those other reporters out there putting their lives on the line, wandering through downtown cities like cowboys with microphones in hand, documenting every single suspicious pedestrian just to demand an interrogation. You have my standing ovation tonight at eight 🙏
Kudos to everyone. Navigating this whole mess with such careful precision—despite a few minor hiccups along the way—is practically an exam you're passing with a solid B+. People are asking the right questions, rightfully questioning the leadership's decisions and where their authority actually ends, all while maintaining a healthy respect for how serious this outbreak and its fallout really is. Now, we’re just counting down the minutes until eight o'clock, when someone can finally take to their balcony and give this whole sickness the middle finger it deserves via a loud concert. ☕
but honestly, it feels like the President has completely lost his footing in this total chaos 🍿

What about the people working until 5 or 6 PM? How are they supposed to grab groceries?
Noah Perez2 said:A few months before this disaster hit, we went ahead and bought that Moulinex-based bread maker along with some high-quality flour, but we're currently lacking the yeast needed to get the dough rising. 😂
Some guy at some sketchy little corner store thinks he’s doing me a favor, selling me a brick of bread that could probably last ten years without spoiling. But honestly, I won't even be mad when I get home and realize the expiration date is only a few days away. 🤦 Well, he tossed it away, so now you'll have to go out and find another one. 🤦
Technically, you should be able to whip up some yeast in your own lab, much like how our grandmothers used to do it back in the day.😉
I’m not really sold on those bread machines. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to bread. It needs to have a real bouquet, a certain ashiness to it.☕
Listen, folks... it’s high time we take a step back. Right now, it's completely understandable that everyone is hyper-focused on the numbers—counting the infected, the deceased, those discharged, and the desperate scramble for masks during this deadly virus epidemic. But maybe we should look at the phenomenon involving the mass die-off of bat populations across Israel. If you believe what's written in The Bible, it's a pretty chilling omen for the coming apocalypse 😉.
I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea. I will make the wicked stumble, and I will wipe humanity from the face of the earth
urbanhawk17 said:The whole thing with masks and the absolute idiots is just peak comedy.
I went to grab some groceries at the grocery store, and this guy practically breathes down my neck, standing inches away. Of course, he’s wearing a mask.
So I tell him, "Your mask doesn't mean much if you're still crowding everyone."
And he snaps back, "I've got mine on, so why don't you get one too and stop worrying?"
First off, he clearly doesn't get that the mask is supposed to protect me, not him. Second, he's actually part of the problem because he thinks having a mask makes him invincible, like he's Jesus Christ or something. Third, he couldn't care less if someone else gets sick; he only cares about himself.
Personally, I don't wear a mask. I just keep my distance from people—which, honestly, hasn't been bad for me—I don't touch things unnecessarily, and I follow the rules. Maybe even more than necessary.
I'm not really the type to join in on all this hysteria, but I'll play along until the end. The issue is that so many people don't follow any rules at all, and that's how you end up with a mess.
Larry Fox5 said:I was seriously looking forward to this spring—had some huge plans lined up too—and then this damn flood hits out of nowhere. Most importantly, everyone stays safe and healthy, because everything else can be replaced... But over here, they’ve slapped us with total lockdowns, so nothing’s open except grocery stores.
I don't know how you guys are handling this, but I'm a total workaholic—it's a curse—and I can't stand these restrictions on personal freedom. Honestly, the psychosis from being stuck inside is going to kill me long before the virus does.
Ugh. I had this whole thing mapped out for the summer—flying out to see a healer for some ritual work I’ve been putting off forever. I was planning to time it perfectly with a three-month medical leave, just so I could finally sit down and properly obsess over a major soccer tournament, then head off for a laid-back trip through the Baltics. No stress, no responsibilities, just pure freedom. At the end of the day, it’s all going to boil down to playing bunker.
Of course, that’s all a very minor issue.

I’ve been following this discussion closely, and honestly, I have some thoughts! It feels like we’re finally getting to the heart of the matter, and I am absolutely here for it. The way everyone is weighing in is just fascinating. You see people throwing out theories left and right, and while I love the energy, we really need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. It isn't just about one single factor; it's the combination of everything happening in the US right now that makes this so complex. I was reading what urbanhawk17 had to say earlier, and I have to agree—there is definitely a layer of nuance here that most people are overlooking. We can't just jump to conclusions without looking at the data! And while I know some of you are itching to settle this once and for all, let's keep things civil and thoughtful. I truly believe if we dig a little deeper, the answer will become much clearer to all of us. Let's keep the conversation going! kaže: Ever since you stopped hanging out under the showers at the Convention Center, things just haven't been the same around here! A lot of stuff has been totally thrown off balance without you. ☕
Wait, wouldn't that just solve the whole thing?
I’m thinking about finally starting to track the water levels on the Mississippi River, but honestly, I think I’ll wait until things stop being such a disaster. Just not ready for that headache yet.
I hope everyone managed to stay safe and sound with their loved ones. Hang in there—there’s nothing quite as humbling as standing completely defenseless against the raw power of nature.
Earlier today at my bank, some old lady was coughing her lungs out right behind me. I had this sudden, violent twitch—like someone was literally gnawing on my spine. I actually had to laugh at myself for such an overactive reaction. Coronavirus, huh? If you’d dropped this exact same scenario on me ten days ago, I probably would've collapsed mid-air under a heavy dose of growing paranoia.
Nobody stuck here in this mild semi-isolation really knows what's going on. There's no consensus on how much caution is enough and when it becomes overkill. You've got the panickers stripping every single pack of cigarettes off the supermarket shelves, and then you've got the skeptics who wave everything off with a dismissive hand—a group I still sheepishly belong to, though maybe not quite as aggressively as before.
In this idiotic situation, your only real option is to just stand there, planted like a stump, clutching whatever irrelevant theory you've picked up. You wait to see what they feed you on the news, and then you're left with the choice of whether to believe it or not, before continuing to bleat aimlessly just like before. You just wait. Wait for curfews, for escalations, for quarantines, for things to calm down, and eventually, hopefully, for a return to "normal." And while you're waiting, you'll start to realize exactly what motivates those people running around playing games and cheating their way through life.
Why not take this time to actually uncover some hidden talent? You could create something just for the hell of it—drawing, playing music, experimenting with a new recipe, or just getting lost in fresh ideas. Instead, people seem to flee from boredom by mindlessly consuming everyone else's knowledge and experiences. 🤔
I’m talking about all these endless series and movie recommendations flooding the feed lately.
The media is making everything sound like a total catastrophe. They’re obsessed with driving panic because apparently, this sickness doesn't discriminate. Take Spain, for instance—they're reporting on a 21-year-old who passed away right in his prime due to Corona 😲.
This 21-year-old was already dealing with a fight of his own, battling leukemia 🤦.
The whole thing is becoming absurd. You can't even go out hunting because of the panic-mongers who want to lock down every living soul. You can't create anything, you can't move an inch. Honestly, I couldn't care less ☕.

sweaty palms issue🤔
An old favorite from the Berserk manga😉
I think a new season of 'Attack on Titan' might finally drop this fall. It was such a massive craze for a while—not quite like the whole Corona thing, obviously, but you get my point.
